Donald L Garrett: Got my pilots license in 1985 at Don Davis Aviation. Went down memory lane. Don Davis himself gave me my check ride to obtain my private pilots license. A lot of changes. Cost $3000.00 in those days. They told me it cost between $11,000 to $15,000 nowdays if you are starting from ground zero. I am looking into getting current and glad I already have my license and just need to do a little catching up to get current.
