Not only did the receptionist invite me to sit in the office, but she also offered a much needed cup of water. My visit with the specialist went quickly and everything was explained to me where I completely understood what my test results indicated. I got in early and actually left before my scheduled appointment time.I received a very nice cover letter and my test results a couple of days later. I'm going to go back for another necessary test assessment. And they're going to help me get the perfect fit for my much needed hearing aids.

He answered every question and I never felt rushed. He was patient and explained things very thoroughly and made sure that all my questions/concerns were addressed. He was just as attentive during the 2 follow-up appts, offering me an earlier appointment if a problem arose, even if just a questions or concern. I had a slight Bluetooth hiccup (my fault) and when I called the office Danny had me come right in. It was a 1 second fix that had me laughing at my ignorance. He was very understanding and never made me feel like I wasted his time. I was certainly apprehensive about having to wear hearing aids but it’s been life changing and I’m glad I made this decision. It was nice to have a relaxed but professional meeting with her. She explained all the options and was not pushy about sales. I really enjoyed this meeting as I had originally been very nervous about all of it. She made it comfortable even though it is a dark time for me. I would wish that everyone has the same experience that I did when they are making hard decisions. I picked out what hearing aids I plan on going with and she even checked to make sure she could get the color I wanted. The price and style were more than affordable. I compared prices with other agencies and Audibel was the most affordable and I am getting exactly what I want in a pair of hearing aids. The wait time was short and I had an appointment. Samantha was on time and was very thorough with what I needed to know. The place was clean and had a fireplace.

JS at MN: Other hearing aide places on the phone tried to sell sell sell. This shop accepts my parents insurance and obtained cost while we were in office so we know what coverage was available. They .are sure to order what plan allowed and even helped provide info as I asked about plug in rechargeable vs battery and only $250 difference which wayess than batteries over the lifetime of the HA! They were great and patient!

Robin Forney: One star is generous after the experience we had today with our young son. The doctor and audiologist seem nice and knowledgeable, but that does nothing if your medical assistants are rude and horrible to your patients. I wasted my time trying to call in and talk to an office manager. I am very disappointed in the extreme lack of professionalism and inability to schedule appointments appropriately so patients do not wait over an hour to be seen.

Patty Weis: Do Not get hearing aids from this place, it's a scam! I would give negative stars if I could. They are listed as an in-network provider on our insurance and our policy covers a new set of hearing aids every 3 years. When Anthem processed the claim, the total amount was discounted by $3200 for using an in-network provider and they paid the balance to the doctor's office. It was stated on the EOB that we do not have to pay the discounted amount. Now the Doctor's office is trying to make us pay the $3200.The last time my husband got a set 6 years ago, all he had to pay was the office visit copay. The audiologist verified his insurance before ordering the hearing aids. This time we had a different audiologist as the previous one left. Our insurance hasn't changed and I verified that he can still receive a free set of hearing aids. Evidently they ordered the most expensive set and didn't check with Insurance on how much they would pay. They had my husband sign a bunch of paperwork, not explaining any of it, and the last statement said that we agree to pay what insurance doesn't cover and they don't accept Insurance's discounted amount as payment. At the time he signed it he had no expectation that everything wouldn't be covered 100% by insurance and assumed he would only be liable for the office visit copay.And to make matters worse, he had a 30 day trial period and they didn't send the bill until the 30 days were up. So now we have a bill for $3200 for hearing aids that can no longer be returned since it's outside the trial period.We're called Anthem and they said there's nothing they can do since he signed that last paper. We're still fighting with the doctor's office but getting the runaround. They talk to him then say they'll check and call back but they never do.Update: They did let us return the hearing aids and as we understand it, we will owe nothing and they will reimburse the insurance company. They offered to order a cheaper set where we wouldn't have to pay as much, but we declined. When you are an in-network provider it is just wrong to make the patient pay the discounted amount that you agreed to when you chose to be an in-network provider. My previous rating still stands.Instead we will be paying $500 for new batteries in his 6-year old hearing aids because they will no longer hold a charge and are out of warranty.

Allen Lee: I had gotten myself a pretty nasty cut that covered about half of my face, the picture of the laceration is definitely cringe worthy.. I was torn from the corner of the mouth to the bottom of the jaw, at the ER I was informed that they were going to need a specialist take care of it. Dr. Jacob’s arrived and worked on stitching me back together all through her lunch break! I asked if she wanted to take a few minutes to eat as I could smell her food in the nurses station and she replied “it will still be there when I get finished.” (Bonus points). She stitches my face in 3 different places as my lip had been separated from my gums and the wound in my cheek was VERY deep. She was very kind and made sure that I understood everything that she was doing for me.. At one point I asked “How many stitches have you put in so far?” and I couldn’t have been happier with her response, “I’m not counting but, as many as it takes to be right”. (More bonus points). In all I guesstimate 30+ stitches, in which I felt only 2! Even on those 2 when she noticed my discomfort she offered to stop and use more numbing medicine. A week later she removed the stitches and had half of them out before I even realized it, this woman has magical hands!! Now, I’ve spoke of how amazing her work is but she is not the only one in the building... I won’t go into the full details but several years back Dr. Palmer had done a surgery on my son who was 18 months old at the time, something in his throat swelled so bad he was gasping for air. Dr. Palmer explained that he was going to have to be put under for the procedure and sat and explained everything in great detail that was going to happen and made sure we had full confidence before he went to work, a very kind and friendly man.. This was the longest 7 hours of my life but when we got to see our son afterwards he was 100% again and a huge weight was lifted off my chest. All in all, if you’re getting helped from Midwest ear, nose and throat, no matter what the situation or how severe you are in good hands (literally) and can rest easy as you will have nothing to worry about once you meet the doctor! I hope sharing my experiences can gain these wonderful doctors the recognition they deserve and help put a future patients mind at ease..
