We call EAR to discuss fixing the vehicle and they told us that we would have to wait until availability and when we call to check availability we were told something totally different then the previous conversation. Or in my case family member decided to give me a tune-up for Christmas. Set it up with them then I called in the appt. Got the car back the very nxt day. Then the receipt tells you what they did. The prices right up on the wall so you can decide what gets done or you can see if there is a discount. My car is a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis. Mercury not around but Ford Crown Victoria is. It's 20 yrs old. And it's been running like new ever since I've been with Thrifty. I recommend them.

Im about to get in and there is a homeless man sleeping in the back seat of my car. I couldn't be mad at the homeless man I didn't leave my car in his hands. Olivia Gray: In January, I noticed my heat in my older Ford Fusion wasn't working properly, so I called Thrifty to make an appointment. As the days went by, my car started over heating and leaking fluid and was very loud. I didn't feel comfortable driving it, so I used my AAA service to have it towed there. I figured it needed a new radiator and assumed it would be 300-500 or so. When I got the estimate texted to me, I was shocked. It was over 2,000. I took a closer look to see brake replacements, oil change, new battery, and a few other small things listed on top of the radiator replacement. First off, I had previously had my brakes checked out at a different place. They were acting a little weird and just needed to be flushed. They said they looked good though and have been fine since. (this was a place that specializes in tires and brakes). They said I had NO oil, which was hard to believe considering I wasn't even close to needing an oil change yet and I am always on top of it. They also were going to charge almost $100 for oil when I can get a full service at Speedy Oiler for $40. They also said my battery "failed their test". I have never had my car die on me, and it has been fine since then 4 months later. I called and expressed my concerns and asked if they could just replace the radiator since I didn't think the others needed fixed. The man said they could be they wouldn't "guarantee their work if they don't fix it all". I declined the work and then had my car towed to The Answer and had a WONDERFUL experience. I asked them to check my oil, battery and brakes too since I didn't believe Thrifty. They were all fine, which I knew and they said I had plenty of oil. They did not charge me as much for the radiator too. I see it as this place saw a young woman get her car towed, so they figured I was not knowledgeable and desperate and tried to take advantage of me. I do not respect a business who price gouges and tries to do unnecessary things. I am glad I went to The Answer and saved over $1000. My car is driving great, battery is fine and my brakes are fine. They were unreasonable and I was forced to eventually take them to small claims court.

Hammer Dan: Do not take your vehicle to these people. Took our SUV in and didn’t return calls for weeks or even start work on it. Had to take it to a competent shop for repairs. On top of all that these jerks left our camshaft cover off our engine resulting in them rusting deep into the cams and adding $300 to our bill.

Paul Clements: I took my truck to have my a/c fixed by Daren. He charged me $650 and said it was ice cold. After two weeks the a/c quit working again and I took it back to him. He charged me an additional $250 to repair. The a/c still wasn't working after he was finished with it. I took my truck to an a/c specialist later and he said the system wasn't even retrofitted to the proper coolant, the system was on the wrong side of the firewall, among other problems. Daren is a scam artist and is not the answer but the problem.

Andrew Deger: The irony of Answer Man is in its name itself.Dropped my car off to the owner, said he'd look at the problem and call me. A week goes by no call. Two weeks go by no call. I call the shop no answer. This goes on for a month.I show up to the shop only to see a sign in the window saying hes on vacation be back in a week.Had my care for 3 months I had to tow it out of there cause he didnt even look at it or start to fix it.Honestly i hope he reads this himself so this will never happen to any other customer of his. I spent $4k in transportation while he had my car.Hey Darren or Darrell I thought our officers would have taught you better than this.

Darren Lewis and the other fellas there have definitely earned my respect through their work ethic, attitude, and character. Fixed up my vehicle in quick time while also allowing me to watch. I learned a ton from these gentlemen and my level of respect for them is unmatched. Check these guys out. You will not be disappointed.

Ethan Lynn: Absolute joke and disgrace. They didn't bother to refill my brother's differential fluid, which caused a nearly fatal accident and stranded him. Then, they refused to take full responsibility and did not fully repair the associated damage. Straight bush league and unprofessional. Do not go here!
