Aleta Jacobson: Before writing anything negative, props need to be given to Scott and Captain Rick. The hospitality they provided was outstanding. However, this marina is dirty, and not much actually functions.We had a transient slip booked for a week and wanted to leave after the first day. The woman who works there is extremely rude and possibly delusional. She stated that she was a captain, had cruised all over, and we wouldn’t find a better marina. Poor lady must have captained her boat in a mud puddle. The shower, pumpout, laundry, and water did not work. If that’s what she thinks a fine marina is, this place will never be nice, let alone functional.
Designer Understanding: This place is gross.It's not kept up at all.They do a tiny bit of water maintenance but only bcuz they have to.Other than that, it's left to sit and rot. LITERALLY.The water is gross, the smell is gross, the stain it has put in my Yacht didn't seem to want to go away. I am seriously thinking of suing them for it. I'll have to have everything cleaned inside and sprayed just to get the smell out, then I'll send them the invoice and if they refuse, I'll sue them for it.DEF DO NOT RECOMMEND.If my yacht didn't have a small leak on the door frame, I'd be at the other Marina spot in Dogtown.

Karma Sucks: Got $20 in gas on a Sunday. They debited my account for $200, and claim that’s their policy. Here it is Tuesday and my account is still pending $200. I have bills due. NEVER get gas there again!! My boat club is boycotting their business.

Cole Blythe: Hello I’m Cole Louis and I’m only 2 1/2 months old but I sure love this Marina already!! My favorite is our friend Captain Rick at the gas docks!! He is always there to help and provides excellent updates on river conditions and events happening. We thank the entire Crew for treating us like family!! Look forward to many more visits this summer!!

Bill Smith: the river was up pretty high, as the pictures show, so we got out to marvel at the new ocean where the corn fields used to be. found an empty whiskey bottle so we stuck a note in it and sent it out to float to whatever deatination it may find

oi brulee: It's a functional dock for all forms of nautical vehicles. The only downside is that the owners put little money into it, so it is a tad run-down.

D “Bandgig360” N: Seemingly added 2 stroke fuel to a new 4 stroke engine.Bought a brand new motor and boat a few months back. Associate grabbed a brand new fuel tank from the shop and attached it to the engine. I noticed they added a bit of gas which I thought was nice. I smelled it and there was clearly gasoline in it, not water.I go to start it, it smokes and dies. Took it to a different dealer and they told me there was 2 stroke fuel in it, although it is a 4 stroke engine. It would seem that the associate at river city was trying to be nice and gave me a bit of fuel, but was the wrong type, costing me $170 in parts in labor.No, I didn't mix fuel cans, I don't own any 2 stroke engines. No, it wasn't water, I verified with the mechanic. And yes, I should've just drained what they had in there, but I trusted it to be regular gas from the dealer.Not sure where the mixup is, but an extra $170 on top of an already overpriced motor compared to online prices is unacceptable.
