Mike Estes: Saw a flyer for this bookstore while walking through the theatre building on a visit to UE. What an awesome find! Great selection of books. Fun stickers. The owners were super friendly. So glad that we stopped in this great independent bookstore.
Todd H: Accidentally ran across this hidden gem when signing up for Libro (a great audiobook alternative to Amazon's Audible that supports local bookstores). My wife and I were excited to learn that Evansville had a local bookstore, so we went to check it out.Cute and clean little store with a very nice selection of books, as well as puzzles, art supplies and some really cool stickers. The owners are very friendly, and were very helpful with book recommendations. They will also order books if there is something you are looking for that isn't in stock.Highly recommended! I will definitely be visiting Bluestocking Social for all of my future book purchases.
Onyx Voice Acting: A quaint little local bookstore. Staff was very friendly and was receptive to friendly chat and joking with me which made me feel more than welcome. Local crafts line the left wall and I bought several candles as well as a sticker and a pin and several books. I will be returning for future shopping.

Keith Cecil: This independent, locally-owned bookstore contains a well-curated collection of books and art supplies. They also have interesting jigsaw puzzles and a cool assortment of stickers. This place is one of Evansville’s best kept retail secrets.

Joshua Ohmer: Bluestocking is a little shop with a lot of personality. The book selection is small, but thoughtful, including both classic works and some of the best new fiction. Additionally, they carry some important essential supplies for artists, and some great giftware made by local artists and artisans—stickers, tee shirts, jewelry, and more, comprising both literary and Evansville themes.

Your Brother’s Bookstore is a cozy little independent bookstore in the heart of downtown Evansville, Indiana. We carry new and used books, board games and gear, and specialize in works from local authors. Although we focus heavily on genre fiction and manga, we carry and read all genres.
YBB is also focused on family, with our kid’s section nestled in a giant blanket fort! We’re heavily invested in our community, working with organizations like the Evansville Public Library, the Midwest Writer’s Guild, and River City Pride.
As younger men, we both moved away from Evansville in search of bigger and cooler places to live. Adam spent a decade living in New York City and Sam moved around a lot while in the Air Force. Both of us found ourselves homesick very quickly and, by complete coincidence, moved back to Evansville within about a month of each other.
After a conversation about how Evansville has grown and changed since before leaving, the brothers decided they wanted to help contribute to the growing culture of art and community that they noticed developing downtown. While away, both of us found homes away from home in whatever small, independent bookstore was around. To put it simply, we wanted to create the same experience in downtown Evansville.

Beth Cantrell: The owner was very helpful. He was so much fun to talk to. Went in thinking we were just there to kill some time before our event at the Ford Center. Ended up buying 4 books and some earrings! Would definitely go back. Check out the books covered in brown paper bags with a fun description. We got 2 of them. Can't wait to read them! Will definitely go back when we're in the area.

Dave Armstrong: Friendly, well-curated local bookstore. Surprisingly well-stocked, fun to browse, with knowledgable staff who enjoy talking about the books and can make an intelligent recommendation. Occasionally has local authors, poets, music. Sometimes, local bookstores are just spaces with books, a little markup, and a cash register-- sometimes, they meet up to all your hopes for what a locally-owned business should/can be-- YBB is the latter.

Bunny Hart: This bookstore is run and operated by two brother's who have a knowledge of books that's so deep James Cameron is exploring it in a submarine. It is speculated that Adam's round house kick is so powerful it created the Grand Canyon.
Ryan Matthews: I visited Your Brother's Bookstore as an author for a signing. Adam and Hamilton were warm and welcoming, just like the shop. The cozy little place is trendy, quirky, and rich in history. The owners and employees are very knowledgeable and are on a first-name basis with many of their clientele. The shop is located on a beautiful cobblestone street in downtown Evansville. I can't wait to return.

ECE: I love the variety I can from here and how well organized it is. I don't know if it's like this at every Barnes and Noble but the staff here are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The store is always clean and it remains one of my favorite trips to make because I'm always finding something interesting here.

I love that there is seating placed around the store, although I do feel there could be a bit more chairs & tables placed throughout the store because sometimes there is no where to sit. Kathy Greulich: Needed an audiobook for a trip. Being a cheap broad, I preferred to get one at a thrift store, but couldn't find one that carried them. (We're not from that town, so couldn't get any from the library.) What a selection! Had a hard time deciding which one to get, so got two! Our only disappointment was the cost -$90 for 2. (But that's probably normal for now. I just never buy new ones and didn't realize they had gotten that expensive.) Certainly enjoyed listening to both of them.
