itatertot: I went to here and loved it. The teachers were amazing and I felt safe. Of course there were bullies—I stopped caring about them after the first year. And there were a few times kids would do stupid things but nothing bad ever happened. High school was easy to get through—grades wise. I remember our choir made it to 2nd place one year when we competed at Reitz. Met a lot of cool people here from students, teachers, mentors and counselors. Most people who said they hated bosse I can’t believe it. Four years there and I never hated going there.

Noah Brooks: A typical school to learn with a lot of great people. Although there are people who are issues, most of the people are amazing!

Elixia Makara: My father graduated from here. Now that it is my turn, I feel the sense to not disappoint. I am and will be a warrior. and the staff and administration always do their absolute best to help those like me succeed. Not only that, but it is a very short distance for me. And among other things, their JROTC and Shepard Academy for Law & Social Justice programs are just what this generation needs to prepare for life and work after high school and college.

Nick White: Honestly this school is terrible, it doesn't even deserve one star. The principal is a homophobic and racist. There was a straight couple walking, holding hands, down the hallway in front of a lesbian couple (also holding hands) and principal stops the lesbian couple and tells them they are not allowed to display acts of affection, paying no mind to the straight couple. All of the staff is overly rude to both parents and students. The staff does not know how to control students. Last week one of the cops at the school tasered a young small girl who wouldn't leave the school. Why not get a counselor to come and ask her why she wouldn't leave and solve the issue. The solve violence with violence and they don't take into consideration what a student could be going through. If I had kids I would send them here if it were the last school on earth. I feel sorry for some of the teachers that work hard at this joke for a school.

Alexys Adams: Wow this is just sad. It isnt good to know this is how they handle racial harrassment. Students shouldnt be getting this treatment at all. Its disgusting. We all know there are bad people out there but when the problem is right infront of us we need to do more than tell victims to just get over it. We have to make schools feel like a safe and supportive place. This type of behavior is very damaging to young students.

Scott Slaton: Great learning institution with instructors and counselors who care about the students. Mater Dei High School is a highly accredited institution with a strong elementary and middle school affiliation. Logan Boyd: School. Not to much to say. It's Catholic based and have games that are nice to watch. Lots of construction nearby on the building caused a lot of noise.

dmen is a killer55: Its a joke the teacher dont help students unless parents have money and the teachers are worse than the bullies. Does nothing to help students grow.
Christina Kibalko: My sister goes here and is a senior. I don't know what they teach kids in school these days, but it seems that education has really gone down the tubes since i graduated 15 years ago. A friend of mine asked if I wanted to see the new school a few weeks ago and we drove a really long time to get there. With as much as everyone talks about global warming, why on earth would they stick this school 8 miles north of the city limits is beyond me. All these kids have to commute for at least 15 minutes in a car just to get to school, forget about walking or riding a bicycle. And I couldn't help but notice the giant inverted crosses all over the outside of the building. Just goes to say that public education has gone to hell over the last 15 years or so. But on a positive note, I am very happy they built a new school because the old one was extremely over crowded!

Lori A: My child has gone to their summer academy for 4 years & we're so happy to have this option. It's the only place I have found where they actually use adults to engage the children during their work & actually engage the children so they learn. I am thrilled to have a place where they can still be stimulated & learn over the summer & not have some kid just sit there with them

Abigail Lowery: Been here since I was in jpk. Love It! Best School Ever! Great education, great teachers, small classes good one on one time. Lots of labs and they have great trail so we can learn outside. Nice that they carry in lunch from a vendor each day. Monday is Subway, Tuesday is Greeks Pizza, Wednesday is Pita Pit, Thursday is Wok N Roll, and Friday is Penn Station. They have good activities after school, physical and educational. The school is very safe and they have good security.
