They were $60 cheaper & they did a wonderful job. With the cost of gas & food that $60 really does make a difference. U win some & lose some at any place u go to. Just make sure u do ur research of finding out the best deals at that particular time & job that's needed.

Originally I chose them because they were the closest shop to my home, but even after moving to the other side of town I continue to use them for everything. Colton always answers the phone and knows who I am when I say my name, knows my vehicle and what's going on with it, and is excellent in his communication about what's going on. Their prices are very competitive to anyplace in town, they can fix pretty much anything you have going on with your vehicle, and they will always call you and tell you what's going on and what it will cost before they begin any work. They also do a full 21 point inspection anytime you have any work done and let you know about anything they find, and they are honest about whether or not it's something that needs to be done now or could probably wait. They never try to upsell me, they always treat me with respect and appreciation, and they always contact me a week or 2 after the repair to make sure I'm happy with everything and all is ok. This place is GREAT. Or in my case family member decided to give me a tune-up for Christmas. Set it up with them then I called in the appt. Got the car back the very nxt day. Then the receipt tells you what they did. The prices right up on the wall so you can decide what gets done or you can see if there is a discount. My car is a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis. Mercury not around but Ford Crown Victoria is. It's 20 yrs old. And it's been running like new ever since I've been with Thrifty. I recommend them.

Olivia Gray: In January, I noticed my heat in my older Ford Fusion wasn't working properly, so I called Thrifty to make an appointment. As the days went by, my car started over heating and leaking fluid and was very loud. I didn't feel comfortable driving it, so I used my AAA service to have it towed there. I figured it needed a new radiator and assumed it would be 300-500 or so. When I got the estimate texted to me, I was shocked. It was over 2,000. I took a closer look to see brake replacements, oil change, new battery, and a few other small things listed on top of the radiator replacement. First off, I had previously had my brakes checked out at a different place. They were acting a little weird and just needed to be flushed. They said they looked good though and have been fine since. (this was a place that specializes in tires and brakes). They said I had NO oil, which was hard to believe considering I wasn't even close to needing an oil change yet and I am always on top of it. They also were going to charge almost $100 for oil when I can get a full service at Speedy Oiler for $40. They also said my battery "failed their test". I have never had my car die on me, and it has been fine since then 4 months later. I called and expressed my concerns and asked if they could just replace the radiator since I didn't think the others needed fixed. The man said they could be they wouldn't "guarantee their work if they don't fix it all". I declined the work and then had my car towed to The Answer and had a WONDERFUL experience. I asked them to check my oil, battery and brakes too since I didn't believe Thrifty. They were all fine, which I knew and they said I had plenty of oil. They did not charge me as much for the radiator too. I see it as this place saw a young woman get her car towed, so they figured I was not knowledgeable and desperate and tried to take advantage of me. I do not respect a business who price gouges and tries to do unnecessary things. I am glad I went to The Answer and saved over $1000. My car is driving great, battery is fine and my brakes are fine.
