Hope City Church: what do users think?
Sean - Paul Radke: "Eager to remember the poor" (cf. Galatians 6:10) like the the heart of the Apostle Paul, relating truth with humility, a place to learn and live out the Bible, faithfully serving the neighborhood of Jacobsville where they worship the Lord, with a good reputation to those "outside" , and passionately dedicated to being a home for all people to be transformed by the gospel!
Kellyann Walker: An amazing church that is real, living, serving, and working in the community bring the hands and feet of Jesus. Bringing the Word of God alive through sermons, small groups, and special events.
Liz Hoover: Great atmosphere to worship! Love the singing and the preacher is great!
Lori Turner: I love this church
Darlena Stevens: They helped many familys with aweome new back packs full of supplies.. And socks and panties/underwear... They did free haircuts..and face paintings it was so very kind and much needed Thankyou
hal pate: Because God's love for us is too good to be true. But it's true. One of our pastor's quote here.
Michael Smith: Wow very wonderful
Roxanne Dean: I love this place
Ron Yates: I love this church!
dwyett1: This Church has a really nice Facility that they tend to rent out to public... up through the date I called. When I asked about using it, It was all green flags UNTIL, the facility manager "Mark" took the idea to the leaders that we needed it for a quinceanera to celebrate some very deserving children.I guess they only want CERTAIN people renting out their facility... not very Christian of them. He came up with a lame excuse for the day we needed and when offered a variety of options and change in the day. It was still a no.... I see you Getsemane. Shame on you!***to their response: So that was not what was told to me and not how it came off. Your opinion is fine, but so is mine.He gave me prices, the info on the areas you can use, the cost to use in house equipment, and set up/breakdown Information... how would I know that if he immediately said "we are not a banquet hall." I would have moved on. Instead he (Mark) said it was open to rent... yet, he called back to say their cleaning crew couldn't do it on a Saturday lol... So I asked about Friday... still the same response... even offered to deep clean the area ourselves,Dead silence! So at minimum he was not truthful of why he changed his mind.
Jamie Bass: Great place! Amazing worship, amazing messages. Full gospel Holy Spirit filled church. Pastor Dale and Pastor Dana are wonderful!
Linda Reising: I have been attending Gethsemane for over 30yrs under the leadership of Pastor Dale and Dana .The message has never changed in 30yrs. I came from a past that only could be changed by the preaching of the gospel which is good news. Pastor always says time and the gospel brings change. Give him a year and you will be changed! I have been changed and continue too be changed. This is a 5 star church!!

Bill Cundiff: Pastor Ray has a heart for lost people.
Mark Terrell: I am a active member
Darlena Stevens: I havent been in a long time
Alex Wiley: My husband died of Covid in December, and I have not received one phone call, except from Ron Crawford. I was accosted by Sharon, from the choir that I used to direct, in a grocery store. She informed me that I needed to go to church. Charles was in a nursing home and I had not missed a service with him in 9 years. She gives advice without knowledge and thinks she is Maria Callas, when she is actually tone deaf. I played piano for her and her sister for “specials” and even for services at Browning Funeral Home. I thought a church supported their members.
Connie Scroggins: A very warm, caring & loving place to worship. Pastor Ray & his entire staff are the greatest !!!! Wonderfulful place to worship at !!!!
ben mcpheron: Great people I would visit more often if I lived there
Randi Hurt: Love these wonderful people. So thankful for all they do.

Carolyn Rodenberg: The pastor is awsome, the people are caring and loving, and you can feel the Spirt of the LORD in His House. Been going there for 34 years, meet my husband there, got married there, and getting ready to celebrate our 33 year anniversary from there. Grace Baptist is a Loving Church. They have great Su day School classes too!!!!!. Stop by if you don't have a home church. I highly recommend this place.

Catalyst Church: what do users think?
Chauncey Suggs: Great place
Chris Hoskinson (Hoski): Great place with great people
Jeremy Morgan: My first time attending here was life changing
Deborah Schneider: Goid people and very helpful.
Shelly Yeary: Friendly and relaxed church. Great children's ministry and great pastor
Lonzo McCall: Amazing place. Amazing people. I was away from Christ for a long time and was nervous about going to church after so long, but the level of acceptance and love that pours out of this place is unlike any other church I've ever been to or seen. I enjoy the sermons and getting to know all of the awesome people who make the place feel more like home than I've felt anywhere else. Highly recommend trying their 3peat challenge. Thank you to everyone here who's had such an enormous impact on the lives of my wife and I.
Karl Card: Pastor is not very friendly and seems to be very judgemental. But then what would one expect from a pastor who prefers lights out and spot light on himself. When a pastor states that a person has to many problems to attend their church, yes, then that church is definitely the wrong church. Seems to me he only wants perfect and fixed people. Just for the record pastor, i dont care if you forgive me or not... your forgiveness doesnt matter...Gods does...
Amelia Stem: I am truly enjoying being a part of this church community.
S Hoskinson: Very nice people
Larry Strunk: This is a great church that does so much to reach their community.
Jill Zueck: This is the cutest church! The inside is decorated so cute and very inviting.
georgette bailey: I really enjoy going to Catalyst church. One of my favorite things about the church is how they help the community. A church I was going to before Catalyst was more concerned about their building then helping the community. I try and do my part by helping out at the food pantry. I feel like pastor Dave is passionate about his preaching. I also like the up beat music we sing.
Chris Miller: Pastor Dave's sermon about parenting, really touched my heart :)
Shirley Humphrey: Went to the food bank. Only 4 other cars before me but it took almost 30 minutes to get out box of food.
Sandy Wesselman: Very nice facility! There for a Piano Recital! Nice that they opened their facility for this event!
Andrew Jones: The pastor is very open and honest. The people are very service minded and helpful to their neighbors. Love this little church!
Shannon Parson: I finally found a church where I not only felt welcome from day one but so did my kids. The youth programs are great from kindergarten to high school!
A O: No judgements here! Fantastic staff and super friendly. They have a great youth group!! Highly recommend!!
Jeff Brock (Jeff): Very friendly and down to earth people. Casual dress. You don't need a suit and tie. Bluejeans are what most wear. But God is present, if you're looking for him. Highly recommend you try it. Made for younger and older people. No discrimination at all.
Ben Moore: Pastor Dave is awesome! Great LOVING church. Makes you feel like home. Practices what they preach. Coming here has restored my faith.
Merlin's Monkey: Wonderful welcoming church. Everyone was very polite.

Bethel Church: what do users think?
Anthony Adams: Fantastic people and ministry work. My family have been going there for a year now due to the fact that they have a special needs ministry.I can't tell you how blessed our special needs child has been as well as our highschooler.Love the people there!!!
Ken Ferry: Full disclosure: This has been my church for 23 years. Has had its share of church-related drama in that time, but all the stronger for it. One of the friendliest churches you will find anywhere. Solid doctrine, teaching, and governing structure. Excited about the men's and women's groups currently being organized.
T G: Best church I’ve ever been to so I kept going. Dr. Samuel is the best ❤️
Tainã Figueiredo: The kids' services are awesome. Good church. My lo always likes to go
Tish M: Inviting atmosphere for worship.
Tracy Rodriguez: Love love love it here.
Sonni Kneer: Love my church!!
piano Player: One question are you actually preaching what is actually important? The gospel that gives hope to the sinner and sheds light into there lives? The gospel of two sharp ends that cuts through the heart and soul ? The gospel that Jesus tought of salvation? The gospel of the book of John of repentence of sin and trust in the lord and being baptized in the name of Jesus? That's the Gosple we should be showing people. The Gospel of John! The one that confronts you whith your sins and shows you the truth of were you will spend eternity. But at the same time showing you hope and light in-between it's confronting words. Showing you that there is hope that (2 Jhon 1-5) the  only son of man God in the flesh who died for us and carried our sins on that cross. Alote of people get that part but they don't know what it means. You see since we have broken the law the moral law the ten camandments on God's high standards against sin we are banned from his presence the Bible says since you have all sined we are removed from the presence of God. (1 Timothy) Since we have broken God's law the payment of sin is death wich is the wages the payment from God that we deserve. But hear comes the Good news even though we have sined even though we have broken the law Jesus paid the fine. For example imagine you were in a courtroom and the judge said you have a stack of speeding tickets someone paid them your free to go. That's what Jesus did on that cross he paid the fine the price for us. Now what we must do is repent and put our trust from ourselves to the lord just like in the court case we put our trust on the one who paid the fine. Putting the trust on Jesus  that he paid the fine and that he has forgivened us. Also putting our faith and trust in Jesus Christ that he has naw freed us  from the raff of God. Naw we can't call ourselves Christians if we are still lieing, stealing, adultering, having hatred in our hearts no that's call playing the hipacrit. Our repentence must be sincere and true and then be baptized in water for the forgiveness of our sins. That's what the True Gospel talkes about. Amen
Bruce Valley: 💕 peaple
Andrea Lea: I go to Celebrate Recovery and service here and it's great!
Amy Kessinger: This place is huge.. very welcoming!!
Deku Izuku: It's clean and friendly, despite being a larger church. The music is good and their Pastor, Prince Samuel seems like a good guy who is definitely educated, well spoken, and easy to listen to. The children's ministry is well run with great security measures. Their are plenty of helpers who are easily accessible and willing to help out. They have multiple spacious parking lots so finding a place to park was easy. They seem to have finally bounced back from years of multiple church scandals. The only concerning thing for me was their permanent message on the outside of the church which references "going to the house of the Lord." I don't remember which scripture since the OT has this reference multiple times, but that is part of the problem. That expression is Old Testament theology where Jews believed God dwelt in the temple. If this was a Jewish Synagogue then I might understand even though it's not a temple, but this is supposed to be a Christian Church where in the New Testament it teaches that believers are the temple and not a building. This begs the question about how good of a theology do they really have. To me, this sign, at the very least, is an embarrassing blunder and hopefully the rest of their belief system is more sound.
MrsCaptainbob: This is a very good church
Rockn B Horse Carriage: Wonderful hallmark styled Christmas!
Cheryl Stroud: Went looking for beautiful Fall Trees. These were on Lincoln Ave. God's fantastic canvas.
Richard Garrett: Was a very nice building, good service, friendly people.
Matt Huntfast: You need to check this place out! Very friendly, great services, clean and just made you feel at home. Thank you
David Whippo: Great fellowship and pastor Dave at celebrate recovery is great
Dale Stanley: A wonderful church!

Redeemer Fellowship Church: what do users think?
Joshua A: Redeemer Fellowship attempts to impose a church covenant / membership covenant. You may hear about it during a sermon as well as on their website. Church covenants are legal documents and are non-biblical. I recommend that you research this regardless of where you attend and not just take people's word on it. If you are considering membership one must carefully read what you sign. There are many churches attempting to impose covenants around the country and in the Evansville area too. Be aware that pastors and churches that advocate covenants post their spin on websites, YouTube and give sermons saying that this is biblical. Don’t be deceived.
Kayley Ice: I love my church. There is great fellowship and accountability here. The Lord has used the people at this church to grow my faith and understanding of theology.
Jacob Candler: Christ and His supremacy is at the center of what is preached here, the activities that take place here, and the relationships that are formed here.
Glines Family4: Can’t say much about pastor, but can say that when the new church took over. There was a youth 4H club that had been meeting there for over 30 years. With out warning they kicked them out, there right. Then threw away all of there club stuff that had been stored there. A simple phone call and this would have been picked up. Now these kids have to raise $100 to replace these items. In my opinion this is not a good way to grow a new church.
Peter Parker: Amazing church pastor is great
David Greenwood: A genuine community of people desiring to love others and share the good news of Jesus Christ. Things you can expect: 1) Worship that will lead you to glory in God 2) Teaching from the Bible that will not shy away from the Gospel of Jesus Christ and 3) Devotion to fellowship. If you are looking for a church to call home, I would recommend Redeemer.
Cherokee Meadows: An awesome church :~)
