The District Offices of the Indiana Department of Revenue are open from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (unless otherwise specified below).

Process payments made with cash (exact amounts only), personal or cashier’s checks, money orders, and debit/credit cards

Answer questions about DOR's collection process (tax warrants with the sheriff and/or collection agency, bank levies, liens on credit reports, etc.)

4worldlovers: We've had to shut down our waitlist for today. This means we will not be preparing any additional returns to be prepared by April 18th besides what we already have in our office. Please see the below information regarding extensions. Our office will be open after tax season every Thursday from 10-noon beginning May 11th.

Nikki, Charlene, and Donovan have made the decision that April 18 will be dedicated to returns that have been started before that day. No new returns will be started on Tuesday April 18th. More information regarding filing an extension can be found on our FAQ page.

Many local banks have changed information. You will need to verify your routing and account number has not changed or your refund could take months longer than previous.

Returns with Earned Income Tax Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit will not be processed until mid February and refunds are expected by the first week of March. The IRS recommends using their online IRS Refund Tool and creating an online account to perform most actions with the IRS as well as receive updates on your return and refund.
