Ana Russell: Excellent service and the people are very helpful. But the online banking is very slow!
Amanda MM: We used them for an auto loan. Don’t ever use them. They said the loan was set to be paid on the 15th and then let me set my payments for the 23 without ever explaining that it would scrub more interest. So the loan is done and now they’re demanding $1900. They stole from me and I’m not happy about it.
Warren Hibdon: The new online banking service absolutely sucks! I used to be able to transfer money to my daughters account with no trouble! I have been on the stupid thing for over an hour sending pictures to my daughter asking her questions and still cannot get the stupid thing to work! I’m thinking probably going to teachers would be a better idea since they pay more interest on your accounts anyway! This service is now useless!
Cassandra Jennings: Not the best at protecting ur money. Or when it's taken along with ur identity they don't replace the money that u have lost. They are insured shouldn't we be as well
Destiny Criss: They dont have an option to just speak to a rep. I just need to know my account number. I dont have time to go through the whole “forgot my password” stuff, been on hold to be transferred to rhe information center for TWENTY minutes. Im at school dealing with this, what the hell?!
Jessica Mayer: I experienced the worst customer service. I pretty much never write reviews. I worked in customer service for over 10 years. I did a balance transfer to another card, that way I no longer had to pay this one. Balance transfers take a few days, so I went and paid the closing amount which was less than $1.00. I get a call two months later that I had a past due amount of $80.00. I was obviously confused since I closed it a couple months ago. It ended up being fraudulent charges and was ruled fraudulent by them. They sent me a paper to sign, that I never I received. I get another call a month later that my payment is late again. Of course I called, and they said that I didn't sign this paper they sent and because of that they denied paying the fraudulent charges. They said Visa is really fickle and it has to be signed within 30 days. I called Visa and found out its not really a Visa card its a card through Heritage Federal that basically has Visa on it. Visa couldn't even see my account info. Every single person along the way was rude and I ended up just paying the amount so it didn't ruin my credit. Not to mention, I was charged late fees for a charge that both parties acknowledged wasn't mine, but they called so much and everything was a deadend with them. I thought it was interesting they could call when my payment is one day late, but not call to tell me that there is a time sensitive paper that I need to sign. There are so many places to get credit cards, don't get stuck with this one!
kim bruce: Have ALWAYS had the BEST experience no matter who I spoke to for what service. Guess that's why I've been a customer for over 10 years !!
Emma Chamberlain: Their ATMs will eat your money. I have had this experience at both the west and east locations in Evansville. I spoke to what I presume to be that manager for the eastside location and they opened a dispute for the amount. This money was supposed to be my bill money that was due the next day but this dispute will take multiple days to go through. The manger told me this was because multiple other people have filed disputes for this same reason. I then asked her why the ATMs were even in use if they were obviously so faulty to which she replied that they worked because you can take money out of it. Depending on how this dispute goes will determine if I remain a member there.
Shelby Waddell: Heritage federal is a JOKE! I have had more issues with the people than any other Bank! When they Screw up my Account I'm the one left to scramble around and fix it!! After Our car is paid off! I will be closing this account and NEVER BANKING WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN! PEOPLE BEWARE! DO YOUR BANKING ELSE WHERE!!!
Dr. Andrew Lobacz: After years as a member, they pre-approved me for a mortgage that they later claimed the mortgage officer made up that loan, and would not be able to offer me now. I am not happy, they have lost all future business.
T Fisher: I don't bank there but recently deposited money into a family member's account. The lobby was closed due to COVID-19 but the drive thru was open. I was immediately greeted with a smile and a friendly face from the teller. I have never had a teller that seemed to be so happy in my entire life as I did here. I don't know her name and she appeared to be of Latin descent. What a wonderful experience and smooth transaction! I might have to bank here in the future. If only every experience could be as delight as this one was...well...that would be great. She was kind, helpful, and knew her job well. I was quite pleased with how smooth it went not that I was expecting anything bad. So Heritage Employee, thank you for all your help! You may have gained a future customer!

stevie collins: Behind the times - absurd payment fees online and by phone. I understand the need for a fee to process payment, but these fees are a bit much. Also. very rude service when calling to ask questions about a recently set up loan.
DON “THEREEDEMTEAM” DEAL: Best bank I've ever had a really care about you and they are very helpful when you have a question. Toni did a fantastic job of taking care my questions or concerns and helped me avoid a potential problem where I would lose money. She was very courteous and very professional and extremely helpful, not to mention Easy on the eyes .
Savannah Diane: Kids kangaroo club is absolutely horrible for working parents. You have to bring your child in with quarters (not dollars or anything else) for them to get stuff out of a toy chest. Worst part is you can't use it for mobile banking
J. W.: Literally can't get anything done here, other banks will work with you, not this one when problems arise. I've had better banking experiences with non-credit unions which are supposed to be for their customers more! What a shame.

Heather Woodruff: This is probably the slowest bank branch I have ever been to. Waited over 40 minutes in the drive thru just to deposit a check. Keep in mind, there were only 3 cars in front of me.. This is not the first time this has happened.. Find another branch if you'd like to complete your transaction in a timely manner.

Michael Hunter: I have been in the drive-thru for fifteen minutes. They decided to make the most of the last weekend of lockdown by locking their lobby for no reason. Now the tellers are working as slow as they can because they don’t have to have customers and we can’t complain to a manager.
Becca Ader: I went there last week and the lady was really helpful and super nice and acted like she cared about my problem. So she calls someone to help me and she gives me a paper of what they’re going to do and then how they’re going to email me when they found something out. She gave me her email and the other persons email.Here we are a week later, I’ve heard nothing. I’ve emailed them both and nothing.I was under the impression that they cared and I was going to get help, but boy was I wrong!I also had something notarized and he said he sent it for me, well here we are a month later and my insurance has yet to receive what he said he sent.I called another Heritage Federal Credit Union and talked to a woman named Rachael, and she helped me the most over the phone.So thank you, Rachael! For actually caring and helping me!

Crystal Russell: Horrible place! My husband and I had a car loan with them. As you know a car loan always puts someone has first and second buyer. I was put as second and was not able to close out the account they made us have after we paid off our car loan. Do not go here!

Jamie Neaveill: I would not do business with this company. They do not send paper statements for loans. They only let you know your loan is due 1 day before and that is only by you doing the work of logging into the bank and seeing it for yourself. They have an option for paper statements and I had that selected but for the four months we have been dealing with them I have yet to receive any paper statement. Then we went to close our account and they were very sketchy about giving us our money. There is still $5 on account with our name on it. If it’s our money and we closed our account why don’t we have it?? Run away from doing business with this bank. Save yourself headaches.
Lisa Hatfield-Devoy: Drove up to the drive through window to drop off a simple deposit for my mother today. It was 3:59pm and an employee pulled and closed the shade down on me right when I got to the window. How incredibly disappointing!! If it were my account-you would’ve lost my business today!! So rude-and way too many other banking options out there to be acting like that.
