Red Arrow Delivery Service is the longest running delivery service in the tri-state area. Established in Evansville, Indiana in 1936 it is currently owned and operated by Tim Johnson. Mr. Johnson and his father, Darwin, purchased the business in 1989 from the Cavanaugh family, who had run it since the late 1960’s. During the Great Depression, Red Arrow Parcel Delivery, as it was called, was located at 522 Market Street, near the Evansville Memorial Coliseum.

Nick Longoria: These guys are the worst mail provider. I little ordered something from Albanese candy factory and I was supposed to get it yesterday and then it went from an hour away from me and almost ready to be delivered to my house to literally being shipped all the way to Michigan docility 5 hours in the opposite direction. And now it is all the way back to Evansville a day later and says it’s supposed to be here today or tomorrow but that’s what it said last time too now my candy and package is going to be old and late this is horrible. So if my package of my candy gets missed shipped again I will be calling corporate because I just talked to someone over the phone and they said sometimes packages gets missed shipped so if I do not get my package tomorrow I will be calling corporate and making a complaint
Bruce Perry: Worst service ever still says package pending already have other part of package but this is the worst service ever considering I have never dealt with a mail company that says one date and it changes every day still no package was supposed to be delivered 4 days ago smh and still nothing I guess I'll call the corporate office getting tired of depending on government services just to be let down never have had an issue till now
Mike Givens: I ship all over the country and my incoming packages have to come through this place. It usually means I'll receive my parcel the day it lands here but if it stays more than a day, then there's no telling when you'll see it move. Missing my customer's parcels and having to explain to them that this place doesn't worry about getting it delivered in a timely manner. Going on day seven for a three day trip is really unacceptable. It starting to happen a lot more frequently.Thinking seriously about going with UPS from here on out.~BMG

Try and ship items via FedEx or UPS, it may cost a little more but at least when they lose a package you can get someone to actually sort it out. USPS has no accountability and no liability for anything they lose or damage and they operate under that premise.
Butch Clutts: I have a package at the Evansville, IN Distribution Center for nearly 3 months. This is totally unacceptable! I understand we're in a pandemic, but if the center can't handle the shipments someone else should.
chris woods: Your packages get to this facility and stay there for several days before they are ever checked in. Seems like you have to lodge a complaint then your package magically gets scanned in within a day. My last one set there for 7 days. I sent in my complaint about 12 pm. By 5pm it magically showed up there. Had another package shipped from St. Louis. It left STL 2 days ago and guess what.....still not checked in at Evansville. Totally unreliable. Also have local post offices that mark packages undeliverable or delivery attempted but they never attempted. If companies allowed you to choose your shipping, USPS would get zero percent of my business.
Stormingcrow: I shipped a package on the 14th of December. It arrived here on the 17th. I've checked my tracking frequently, my package supposedly departed from this facility on the 19th, the 21st, the 22nd, was in transit to another facility on the 24th, departed from this facility again on the 26th, and now it departed again from this facility, supposedly, last night. I don't know why it's going back so much, but I'm pretty sure this is an abusive relationship and the post office just needs to let my package go, it'll be better for everyone involved.
Jeffery Eastwood: My tracking # says package stuck at Evansville post office. That was 3 weeks ago, asked my local post office and they say they are way behind, just wait. There is no number to call, no customer service at all. Don't use USPS when you order something online. Choose UPS or Fed Ex.
Alex K: Appoitment 8:00 am, stood all day, did not unload because they said there was no room for 25 pallets. I had 2 more deliveries on the same day. It's a shame that other trucks were unloading but they didn't unload me.

It left downtown at 3am yesterday and it hasn't even arrived at Lawndale yet, did you go by way of the north pole?!? Even if I crawled I could gotten across town by now! My kid's not going to get his meds tomorrow morning because y'all can't do your jobs!!! Do you realize you could kill someone that way, what if it was asthma meds, or heart meds? Shame on you all!

Jim Powell: Ordered a item and it was shipped on July 22 2020. It arrived at the Evansville postal annex on July 25 and is still there!!!! You put in the tracking number and it says delayed and that has been sense July 27 and the tracking information hasn’t changed only showing July 29 as the last update on my package. It is now August 1 2020 and the tracking still has the same information. It was shipped priority mail 2nd day delivery, I could have walked there and back with my package by now!! And they say mail in ballots. NO WAY!! It would be lucky to arrive by the next election. I thought FedEx was bad, this is a lot worse. The postal service has been paid for a service that they haven’t fulfilled. No wonder the USPS is bankrupt they can’t deliver!!!!! The bosses should do there job and hold employees accountable. Terrible service!!!!

Trent Dirks: This post office location is always busy. if you need to drop off a package that has prepaid posting you don't have to stand in line for forever you can just lay the package on the counter next to the cashier and they will take care of prepaid stuff without you having to stand and wait. If you do have to wait please try to be patient as these guys and ladies have the toughest jobs in retail services as everyone they talk to has built up rage that they want to take out on the post office worker for some reason. I've seen many situations where the worker can't help the person and they take a ton of passive aggressive abuse for it. It's a good post office though.

I have a card on the inside of my box with only my info so they know only I live here. I still get everybody's mail. (6years running) At least a few times a month I get a package or my paycheck 3 days later than I should receive it. Mostly, the mailbox being left open is a big one for me.7/1/2020Once again no knock and a letter in the mailbox! You guys are such a waste of time! I was home, my little dog was barking waking me up and the least you could do was bring me my package! You always do this to me. Every freaking time
