badass taco: The staff was extremely helpul and friendly. I had a prescription transferred from walmart because the price at walmart was outlandish. They gave me the same meds for half the cost of walmart. I was told the pharmacists name was Leland... i hope I spelled it correctly.... a very professional gentleman.I will come to thia cvs any time I need a prescription filled.A++

Cobi Schieferstein: I had my second dose of the COVID vaccine scheduled for today at 6:30 pm since january. Got a call today that the appointment was cancelled because they were "out" with no further instructions or help to get the second dose. Went to a different CVS location that said they had the vaccine online, but they were out when I got there. The second store looked for a location that had available shot, and guess what, the original location had them! So why was my appointment cancelled in the first place??? Once I arrived, they said it was "weird" that the appointment was cancelled with no further concern or apology. This entire experience was super frustrating - the staff had no explanation for the misinformation or unprofessionalism. The process of getting the COVID vaccine has been one issue after another.

Aaron Brown: Worst pharmacy ive ever used. Never have your medicine ready when its supposed to. The big girl that works the register is rude to elderly customers and if you ask her a question she comes back with a sarcastic remark. The pharmacists there are all scatter brained. I dont recommend anyone using this pharmacy!! Unless your ready to spend a hour of your day trying to get your meds refilled.

Allyssa Umbanhowar: If I could give zero stars I would. I had a billing issue and the staff were very rude, and when it was fixed I was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. When I came in literally 45 minutes later I was told that the prescription was not ready. And it would be 10 more minutes. Then I talked to someone else and it had been ready the entire time. Even if it hadn’t been ready, the techs were in the pharmacy on their phones talking about people and their new babies and who had just had them. Very unprofessional and nothing will get done that way. I have been at this pharmacy 2 months and I will be transferring again. I would rather drive 20 minutes extra than deal with this pharmacy again.

Jennifer Kramer: Thursday August 25, 2022. I have 1 vial of insulin. Call CVS Pharmacy at 1145 Washington Avenue where I have been getting my supplies for YEARS. Automated system says it won't be ready until August 31st. This causes me to have anxiety, because I don't want to run out of insulin.Friday August 26. I go into CVS and speak to a person in pharmacy who tells me I can get 1 vial of insulin without my insurance but it cannot be filled until August 31st. She tells me it'll be $129. I wait 20 minutes for her to tell me she loomed at the wrong price, it is $350. I tell her I'm not paying $350 for 1 vial of insulin.Wednesday August 31st. I go back to CVS. I am told by an older woman that my insurance won't pay until FRIDAY September 2nd. I tell her that isn't what I was told this past Friday. She tells me that I also have to call it back in. I tell her I'm not doing that, as the automated system told me it would be ready TODAY. She puts in the order.Friday September 2nd. I go to Hangers for work and sneak to CVS at 1:30 p.m. The young lady has a very small bag. I tell her I'm to have a 3 month supply of 9 vials. She said there is only one in the bag. She speaks to the pharmacist and says it will be ready at 2 p.m.I GO BACK at 4 p.m. and she tells me they only have the 1 vial and the rest will be in tomorrow Saturday Septber 3rd at NOON. I tell them I only have 15 units of insulin in my pump and that is it. I need something. She gives me 1 vial and tells me to come back Saturday.Today SUNDAY Septmber 4th I go to CVS. They tell me they are working on 2 prescriptions for me and would I like to wait. I say yes. I am then told they don't have the insulin. I said I was told it would arrive YESTERDAY at noon. The pharmacist tells me that they never get trucks on the weekend and it will be TUESDAY September 6th.I am beyond livid. I have been type 1 diabetic since 1985 and have NEVER had this much trouble getting my insulin. I think CVS is trying to put me in the hospital.

If you're so unhappy with your life, then quit. Don't snap at random people who are just trying to get what they need.

Wolfe Den: Prescription wasn’t ready on time, and when it was my turn to get my prescription they immediately put up a sign saying the drive thru was closed due to staffing. LOL. What a joke.CVS in general needs to figure this problem out. What happens when people can’t get their potentially life saving medicines because your business is ran so poorly?
Nikki Raymond: First and last time using this pharmacy. Funny my nurse is who recommended this pharmacy. They would not refill my prescription. My regular pharmacy was out of stock, oak hill tried to say it was to early (even though it was not) the previous month my regular pharmacy had to split up my prescription because out of stock issues. Not sure if this is what caused the issue but I went to my regular pharmacy who told me that should not have mattered. They could fill anyways. So I had to drive all the way across town empty handed. I will be getting my script transferred and will never come here again. The rude pharmacist said well you shouldn’t go to different pharmacies?!? Well if cvs kept stock, trust me I wouldn’t Nobody wants to drive across town for a prescriptions. Just one more thing to add to my news story that I have been putting together. Shame on you guys!

TOTALLY FALSE advertising!!!!! Box even says "Actual Product Size on Back Panel" yet it DOES NOT indicate the dressing size is MUCH smaller than 4" x 8" advertised and shown on the box. I wouldn't mind the exorbitant cost IF the item was as described. I have always valued CVS as a dependable location for health supplies. This has just shattered that belief!

matt wilsey: UPS dropped off a package for me at the CVS on Oak Hill and Lynch Road last week. When I went to pick it up the young lady at the register said my package wasn’t there. I showed her the note that was left by the driver and I showed her the tracking information on the UPS app that both said it was dropped off there. She looked at me and said “I don’t know what to tell you. This is just a drop off. I can’t help you” I asked her to look again, but she said “it’s not here”. I went back the next day and spoke to a different gal and got my package. It was there the first time I tried to pick it up, but the lady couldn’t be bothered to find it for me. Terrible customer service! I would not recommend using this CVS for shipping or receiving of packages and don’t expect any help with other questions or issues you have either.

The staff is mostly friendly but the place is ran horribly!

The HIPAA violations that go on in this place are unbelievable. Run away as fast as you can and get to the nearest Walgreens.

Kristin Bergman: Want to give a shout out (and props) to the 2 person team working 12/22/21 around 6:30 pm. They were incredibly busy and very understaffed. When I was at the counter (after politely waiting my turn because I understand being understaffed) a woman walked up to the counter and began to say (and not politely at all) that the drive thru had a very long line and people were not being serviced. The technician responded that they were taking care of people as fast as they could. She then yelled at them how were people supposed to know that the drive thru was closed. The technician pointed out that they had closed the gate to the window. I, personally, would have thought that was the international sign that any drive thru was closed. The women then yelled, “well why don’t you put up a sign!?”. To which the female pharmacist stated that they were so busy they hadn’t even had the time to make a sign. I personally chimed in at this point and told this rude (and unmasked 😤) woman that these poor people were doing the best they could!I understand getting frustrated; but come on! Nearly every business is struggling to find employees. We are living in tough times. Why would you be so rude??? The folks that work at this location have been nothing but good/helpful to me. I hope if that rude woman goes to try and complain that management sees this review. I’m so sorry to the pharmacist and technician tonight who were basically verbally abused by this woman. Nobody deserves to be treated that way; never!

michael jones: There is always a line and some days it is fast and some days it is very slow.
Review Queen: The store is always well stocked, clean, and inviting. The staff in the pharmacy, however, are far from looking like they even enjoy being alive. Everything is monotonous customer to customer so when you ask them a question that breaks their monologue, they get unbelievably flustered and rude. Backstory: CVS doesn’t take our insurance and we are not only aware of that, but fine with it. We trust CVS over big retail stores with a pharmacy shoved in the corner anyday. Our issue occurred on Wednesday January 25th when we arrived to pick up a medication. Yet again, the spiel about insurance ensued and each time we explained we weren’t going to be using our insurance for it, she would argue with us, first stating you needed insurance to get the medication and ended it by quoting us 8x the amount it’s been in the past. Luckily a manager stepped in finally and this was resolved, but had the tech listen to us instead of thinking and acting like we were ruining her day by asking her to do her job, it wouldn’t have taken so long

tom angermeier: Not happy with the service. I will be looking for another Pharmacy. Made the mistake of signing up for text alerts. 90% of what I got was advertisement for this or that. Have had a handful of items that I went to pick up we’re not covered by insurance therefore they didn’t fill them. I hate wasting my time five cars deep and get to the window and be told that I don’t have a prescription ready.

Noah Stiles: I went in today to get my prescriptions and the lady who helped me out had braids in and a couple of them were blonde. Her customer service was OUTSTANDING they were so friendly and I appreciated that as I felt very crummy! Don’t normally leave reviews but she was so good I just had to! Thank you!

Jamie: Sat in the drive thru for over 20 minutes while the lady in the pharmacy taught someone how to do a covid test. If you are going to have drive thru testing you should accept pick ups in the other lane as well. Very inconvenient and frustrating.

James Beck: Absolutely terrible service. Despite a sign that clearly states Covid testing in left lane and prescription services all lanes, they refused to let us pick up in the right lane. An hour and 10 minutes later we finally got filled. Swapped all my scripts to Walgreens. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Kendra Baker-Childers: This pharmacy has the rudest women I've ever had to deal with. They even withheld my medicine from me. I have never in my life been done so rudely. They need to be fired. Always has a chip on their shoulder. I can't rate this bad enough.
T Fisher: Staff is usually very kind but their equipment breaks down a lot creating a hard time waiting in a long line to get my scripts. Lynette is great! She knows her stuff. There is a tall male that works in pharmacy and he is quite the rude one. He acts like it is a pure chore to do his job.Update: The tall male no longer works there. Everyone else there is awesome sauce! I went there today, even with COVID 19, I still need to get my medicine, and Kay was at the drive thru with a smile on her face. It is so nice to be greeted with a smile even during times like these. A smooth transaction and a friendly face is all you need. I am so thankful for the crew at the Covert location.
Steve Holland: In approximately the last 10 years that we've dealt with this particular CVS store they have never filled my six or seven prescriptions correctly any one time on annual prescriptions with 90-day refills they just cannot get it right I brought a signed printed copy of all my script numbers and detailed descriptions left it with young lady this morning came back this afternoon and one of the prescriptions they gave me a total different number and still didn't fill it correctly you never see the same two people working here when you come in here everybody's part-time and temporary it's a lousy way to run a business

thomas savino: I live in Illinois over 6 hours away and I receive a daily robo-call on my office phone at work from this place Stating Dennis, your prescription is ready blah blah blah. I have called and complained and was asked for my account details even after I explained I was not Dennis and I did not live in Indiana and therefore did not have an account. Then was told there was nothing they could do for me. I called their corporate office and was again told there was nothing they could do because my office number was not associated with an account and since I did not know Dennis's account info, there was no way they could verify. I deny the call at work but it calls back immediately. Super annoying

Abigail Garner: VERY horribly spoken to by the minute clinic nurse. She made me feel incompetent when I told her that I didn't carry my health insurance card on me all the time. She then proceeds to just attack me with her words. If her goal was to make a very sick young adult feel small, well then, she did. So congrats, I hope that made you feel good and you can go home tonight hating yourself a little less.
Harvey Staggs: Great little place to get those items you forgot while traveling. Familiar with the chain so we chose CVS for that reason. Good clean store.

It’s like they don’t work on your prescription until you show up to pick it up then tell you it’ll be ready in 30mins to an hour. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe they were just busy but for the 8th time in a row they have done this to me. After reading all of the other reviews I see this is happening a lot. Not sure who runs this location but they need to do better.
Jeff Horne: They don't fill prescriptions until you argue with them. They have no problem lying to you about your prescriptions for your health stay away from cvs especially this 1. Been with them for 2 months now they've messed up both times and wait for the customer to contact them to find out what's going on!!!
Mallory Deckard: This is literally the slowest pharmacy location I’ve ever used in my life. I transferred all of my prescriptions to this location because it’s closer to home… big, big mistake. They are friendly, but that’s it. I have often waited in line for 30-40 minutes when my prescription is already ready (both in store and in the drive through).

Jennilyn Brown: This is the best CVS in Evansville. The associates here are fantastic. Plus it's open 24 hours.
Kelsey Lee: I’ve been using this pharmacy for 4 years now and they have gotten my medications wrong too many times. Each time I need to get my birth control refilled, they always give me a completely different one. Today when I called and asked them to refill my trazodone (which I’ve had refill at the pharmacy for the past four years along with my anti-depressant) they told me that they had never given me that prescription in my four years of going there and it wasn’t until my doctor called them that they refilled it. Also some of the staff members can be a little rude time to time, but most of them are friendly. The main problem I have with them is the way the handle prescriptions. They don’t really listen to the doctor’s instructions for the medication either. Needless to say I’m going to be finding a different pharmacy soon. There are other better pharmacies in the area so I suggest you go to a different one.

Aniesa Ricketts: I used to work here for 3.5 years and I tell you the multitask level I had compared to these employees is shockingly different. I know the process it takes for everything they do and it still takes them 3x as long as it would for me and any employees I used to work with. The level of slow is beyond me. You all lost some very strong pharmaceutical representatives and it shows. I’ve come on multiple occasions and the lack of solutions is baffling. I’m the one coming up with solutions which a customer shouldn’t have to do. No one wants to do your job better than you at any location. Hope the few individuals I’ve spoken to get extra training to help the community since you all are 24/7 pharmacy.

So every month I have them count them in front of me. I called before I came here because Morgan cvs is closed due to short staff and he was very polite and friendly over the phone and when I arrived I passed him stocking and when I couldn’t find what I was looking for I went up to the checkout and he already beat me to it! I asked him if they had what I needed and he took me straight to it. For the short time I was there I saw an ideal employee and if I were his boss I would definitely give him a raise!
