Rich: Love the Club & steamed broccoli. The rewards app isn't worth messing with in my opinion, but you do get a free sweet tea when you sign up for the rewards.

Kathy Cusic: I ordered a BLT+Avacodo useually a great sandwich. My sandwich was at my table before I even sat down. I thought that was odd concidering they were fairly busy. I just stopped in for a quick lunch. The beacon was cold, the avacodo was a huge lump that came off the sandwich immediatley. I mentioned this to the girl who took my order. She said they make some sandwiches ahead and sometimes the bacon is cold. That explaines why it was at my table before I even sat down. She didn't offer to replace my sandwich or even tell the manager. I paid over $13.00 for that sandwich! Because I was in a hurry I didn't ask for a new sandwich. This was on 1/9/23 around 2pm. I had no ides they made sandwiches ahead of time!

R: Slow service. Lots of push back from cashiers. Cashiers don’t act like they are trained. I can’t do that… our system crashed… I bought gift cards which no one knew how to ring up so that took about 15 minutes for them to verify simple information and when I told the manager I also wanted to order food she said okay and required me to wait in line all over again like she didn’t want to take my order or it was beneath her. I love McCalister’s. It was my go to daily in Louisville for my main meal. It bothers me that after dark the store lights are always off and the main sign by the road is broken and never lit up. I can’t imagine how much money the store loses due to poor visibility. It’s like the employees want the store to go out of business. This store could be busting at the seems daily with business but it has been poorly managed and the employees seem entitled and irritated if people come in at night. It seems that the Newburgh store is better in sales and management.

Just to mention a few meals during the week, Saulsberry steak with mashed potatoes and green beans, spaghetti and lasagna with garlic bread, meatloaf with green beans. Beef and noodles don’t remember sides, All right let’s go to the best part every weekday they have hamburgers and you can get a single double triple if you want it but they are the best cheeseburgers hands-down in my opinion Evansville has a offer. The icing on top of the cake is the cookies Old Tyme deli & meat shop has the best cookies you’re missing out if you don’t get one. I come and get 3-4 cookies everyday. I work construction and everyone of my crews eat here every single day that’s how good it is nice home cooked meals. They also sell local chips drinks made right in Evansville. You can also buy your high quality meat products here they do not sell low quality meat. The staff is very friendly and courteous they will great you like your family every day. Supplies only last so long you better get here before they sell out which will happen every day because the locals know this gem. I would and do recommend this gem to friends and family also coworkers. Out of the 100 people I recommend this gem to not one person has been disappointed it’s that good. Remember come early before the food is sold out.

The chili was cold and gross, my blt was poorly thrown together and had overly crunchy microwaved bacon on it. The ice cream was the only thing that seemed edible wasnt all that itself. I waited 10 mins in the drive through and the girl still hadn’t made my ice cream which added another 2 mins on top. 10/10 do not recommend. ( Washington Ave Lics)
Frank Montgomery: Unreal. $15 for a quart of chili. Ok so I bought it because I was craving it. They gave me a handful of crackers. I asked for a few extra packs, and the cook behaved as if this request was outrageous. On a side note, I wasn't given a straw to drink the meatless chili. Mind you my disappointment is the reaction over asking for a few more packs of crackers

The lady at the counter snapped at us “Are you paying for parking?!” And when we replied with no, she snapped “Well, we are closed so we ain’t making you anything soooo!” And motioned towards the door. Seems strange to close before your sign does when you clearly have business beyond just 2 people at the moment. And even if you are closed, how hard is it to be polite about it?
