VCA All Pet Emergency Center: what do users think?
Barton Webb: They made what was a horrible situation a little more bearable. Bless them…. They did everything they could to save our Moira but sometimes when it’s time to go, it’s time. My partner and I praise them for all they done to help us when when lost her. Today I pick her urn up. They even made that easy and hassle free. One again, thank you all for your kindness and the care you gave to Moira you are appreciated!
CATHY HOHLER: ALWAYS GET GOOD TREATMENT BUT WHY WHY WHY ARENT YOU OPEN ALL NIGHT !!!! I HAVE S SENIOR SAINT BERNARDI HAVE HAD TO RUSH. MY LAST SAINT IN THERE AT 3AM FOR SURGERY. IM.TERRIFIED. OF something happening to my present saint..if every vet would &do.ome dayO
Kim Catlett: Fletcher received excellent care at VCA Evansville. Staff were up front about the cost of services; however, I felt the care was worth the cost. I hope we don’t need their services again but will not hesitate to go back. Everyone was very kind and caring and the vet was outstanding. She explained everything to me and gave options for care. We are very pleased with VCA.
Clara Peckinpaugh: Amanda Lynn was amazing! She knew her stuff that we thought she was the actual doctor. She was very informative and helped explain the cost of everything and gave us all the options! We were very happy and impressed with the care we got for our sweet marnie!
Melissa Reitz: Staff went above and beyond. Dr. Stewart, Dr. Flick and Ashley are all AMAZING. They went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. They provided more support than I could have ever imagined. Everyone at the facility was very nice and professional. 🐾♥️
Markiemoe 1975: On January 10th, a Tuesday evening, I had to put my little buddy Lukkah(Spike) to sleep at 15 1/2 years old. I can’t thank Virginia and veterinarian Amanda Flick enough for helping Spike and me get through that very difficult moment. They were both great. I was also given this nice Rainbow Bridge and paw 🐾 prints memorabilia. I also received a sympathy card in the mail. Thank you VCA all pet emergency clinic! When I had to put my Shelby, another senior dog to sleep in September of 2020 at my regular vets office I received NOTHING.
RickMorty C-137: The price gouging is outrageous!!!! Their lack of compassion is sickening. Their emergency hours are ridiculous!! The amount of money you heartless people make you think you'd be open for longer hours. The way you reply to reviews pretending you care at all is sad. None of you care when someone has money and you all sure the hell dont care when someone can't affors your OUTRAGEOUS PRICES. Not everyone is going to be so nice to your unprofessional, uncompassionate, price gouging, sorry excuse for a buisness.
Jennifer Hensley: Brought my cat in tonight as I thought he had a major issue with his bladder..after an assessment by the veterinarian it was not the bladder but a very serious infection. Thanks to the staff and Dr for helping myself and Big Kitty feel at ease and cared for🐈😸
katie ulrich: Just want to say thank you to VCA. Unfortunately our girl kona didn't make it, but everyone on staff was incredibly kind. They were upfront about costs at each step and options, and the facility was clean and welcoming. We are glad she recieved good care at the end.Katie and Marcus Denton
Amy Clarion: The worst experience I have ever had with any vet. I took in my bird who got attacked by a rat in and they had no one for birds, instead of giving me suggestions on where to go or helping in any kind of way they just left the room. They weren't busy at all. They just didn't care.
Brittney Walker: This place was amazing with my fur baby Bella Rose 🌹. We knew going in she was going to in a better place, she would’ve been 10 years old this coming New Year’s Eve. She had been very sick and we already took her to her vet prior to this visit, they couldn’t find anything wrong other than her being “old” but prescribed her antibiotics and pain medicine for Arthritis but they didn’t help her in time I felt she had a underlying issue undiagnosed and just caught a flu that was wearing her down she hadn’t ate in 4 days, barely drink and lost all mobility not even able to potty when she started to bleed out her nose I knew it was time and had to end her pain and suffering. This place made us feel cared for and gave us time to grieve and love on baby till her last breath I will always use them for after hours emergencies if we ever need hopefully we don’t have to with our other fur babies. Thankyou for everything you did for our baby mf is a price tag didn’t matter do us bc she was worth every penny..
Jackson Mccollough: I would absolutely recommend VCA All pet emergency to anyone in a pet emergency. The staff was incredibly nice and caring. They were also very good at explaining what was going on and what options we had. We were in and out in less than an hour including our time to fill out paperwork. I would definitely go back in the event we need an emergency vet visit.
Kaitlin Smothers: Was sent here by my Vet for my cat to have a blood transfusion so he would live and was told after getting there that they didn't have any cat blood. I don't understand how the only emergency vet in the area has no cat blood. Not to mention, since when do vets charge $1000 for an overnight stay? Sounds lazy and money hungry.
Whitney Ridener: We’ve had 2 negative experiences and refuse to ever go back. We called in about a year ago when our dog busted open a cyst on her eye and blood was not only filling her eye but also flowing from her face. She obviously was in distress and blood was getting everywhere. When I called in, lady I spoke with said “that’s not an emergency, you’ll have to wait to see her actual vet when they open”. Some people may not consider this an emergency but we did and wanted to bring her in. Even if it wasn’t something they wanted to waste time on, she could’ve approached it in a nicer way.Three weeks ago we decided to give them another chance, when our dog wouldn’t eat/drink and started randomly peeing on my husband. We took her in and were very disappointed. We knew what the outcome was going to be because of her age & existing conditions; however, we should’ve just skipped the visit all together. We felt no empathy from any of the workers and left there feeling like all they do everyday is deliver bad news.
Campbells Channel: Money hungry and made us wait 1 and a half hours before getting my dieing fur baby bac when. I handed her to the tech her little heart stopped thay ask if it was ok to start car we said yes but to even stabilize her would b 2000 more dollars. The 2 girls at the front desk was rude and looked like thay needed to take a bath. Sum it up do not take ur loving fur baby here please ni don't even want to give them one star . Oh ya to cremated her was 500.00. Please take ur baby some where else
Clifton Barnett: Very upset that the only place to be able to get a sick pet treated after hours is now closed. It Really socks when you have a family pt in need and ever vets after hours message tell you to call this place which is now closed. So everyone hope your pet doesn't get deathly sick at night now.
Colin veeck: My cat was poisoned, came here looking for help and was turned away because I didn’t have 145$, how do people say they love animals then turn a dying one away because of money
Cody Underwood: The staff here is incredibly nice, caring, and knowledgeable. Our 3 month old puppy, Charlie, got very sick last week and APEC saved his life. In such an incredibly scary time, they really cared and helped us to continue treatment into the next day with his primary vet. They text me updates through the night and took the best care of our boy. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
Briana Stumpp: If I could leave a negative review I would. My husband travels for work and brings our senior dog with him. Last night he got off work and found our dog barely breathing, throwing up and hacking. He called this office and they said $160 plus whatever they needed to do. It’s after hours I expected price gouging. Whatever it’s an emergency. They want an additional $280 for x rays which is absurd. Said they don’t think she had anything in her throat. Gave her steroids, anti inflammatory and pain meds. Said she was doing better. So we didn’t do the X-rays. 3 hours and $460 later and my husband had to bring her back again tonight because of the same issue. We did the X-rays and agreed to a $380 bill. Nothings in her throat they intubated her and gave her a stronger steroid. She almost died when they turned her on her side for the X-ray because she couldn’t breathe. (Before the intubation). They want her to stay to be monitored and sedated while being intubated. They hand my husband a $680 bill. Which we don’t have and didn’t agree to. They tell him to just take her home after she wakes up in 30minutes. The bill is dropped to $460. My dog still isn’t better and I’m out $920.The price gouging is absolutely ridiculous. I was a tech for over 10 years and even I can’t believe the lack of compassion and price gouging. It’s a common thing at vet offices but this place is just money hungry. If anyone else is open I recommend going there.
Chryslyn Doughty: They did great I was terrified and they checked on my poor Charlie and were so amazing really good place kinda expensive but great care and very available
vanderstelt jamie: My fur child Chewy, she was brutally attacked by neighbor dog. It was on a Sunday so a lot of vets weren’t open. I brought into the office they took X-rays of her and her spine was severed in about the middle of her back.😢😭 She had to be euthanized because of severity of the injuries. It was a very difficult time. Anyway they did everything in their power to make Chewys last minutes on earth more comfortable. I would highly recommend this place for your fur children. A big thanks to the staff for doing the best that they could for my 🐶 Chevy!

East Side Animal Hospital: what do users think?
Kristen: I love this staff. Sarah is an angel, and Dr. Simms is probably my favorite vet I’ve worked with. The staff here genuinely cares and wants to help. They will work with you. Although our kitty crossed the rainbow bridge despite our best efforts to manage his condition, we know that while he was at ESAH he was well-loved and cared for.I appreciate you all for your gracious care.
JILL RUCKER: We had to have our Chocolate put down we exhausted all things we could do and she was suffering Dr Thorpe explained every step they where going to take and let and us hold her throughout everything and the our time saying goodbye
Grace Maier: The care for the animals is purely perforative with zero compassion for patients after they receive payment. We moved out of state and never received updates on when our cat was due for care, juggling a lot it was totally on us to maintain his records but life happens. He is on a medicine that has serious side effects when abruptly stopped and the team refused even a single refill unless we drove 8 hours to see them in person. We were loyal patients for 5 years. Missing doses of this medicine can be fatal for our cat and dangerous for members of our household. Incredibly disappointed in the lack of care, understanding and human decency by the entire team at EHS.
Nikki Oram (Babylette): My gma used to take her old dogs there and I don't live far from them.
Andrew Hamilton: Charged us almost 600 dollars for blood work and to turn the light off in the room and shine a light in our dogs eyes to confirm she was going blind from a sudden neurological issue that came up yesterday morning. They then proceeded to hospitalize her and not give her any fluids or do absolutely anything. They said they where waiting on a return call from a neurologist. Then an hour before they closed we called back and they basically said to take our dog home in excruciating pain. They said the neurologist was no longer in the office. No telling how long they knew that she was gone and they weren’t equip to deal with this. We had to drive her to Louisville to a 24 hour vet and she screamed the whole way. Could not imagine if we had to take care of her at home. Then the other vet was able to make the call that Eastside was to afraid to make. She had to be put down. But thanks to east side her misery had to last all day and they did not give her anything for pain or any fluids when she could not even lift her head up to drink. I also can’t help but wonder if east side would have referred us somewhere else immediately that there’s something that we could have done. Not to mention at pick up one of the techs came out carrying her with her head unsupported flopping around like she was already dead. I am in shock with the treatment of our sweet 10 month old innocent baby at this place. The hospital in Louisville was also horrified by what they heard. I would never take any animal to this place.
Clara Boarman: Tried to charge me $450 for an annual cat check up. My cat gets nervous at the vet and last year, they didn’t discuss any sedation methods at all. This time, after the poor Vet tech tried his hardest, the vet finally gave me some options. When asked about chewing behavior, instead of giving me any helpful advice, the vet told me that I must have encouraged this behavior. Not sure how you encourage a cat to bite, but I just wanted some advice. Vet seems apathetic but the rest of the staff is wonderful. DefinitelyOverpriced. Village East charges half the price
Angel Mattingly: Thank you to the wonderful staff of East Side Animal Hospital for helping us catch our dog Bailey when he got loose from our home off of busy Morgan Ave. They were so wonderful helping us catch him and avoid what could have been a terrible outcome. The entire staff helped us retrieve him. We are so grateful for such caring folks. They really care about the well-being of animals.
Estella Aspinwall: They took my daughter's cat in immediately, and treated him. In a couple of weeks, we'll make an appointment for a bath and a nail trim. Nice folks!
brian kennedy: Our pup gets so nervous going to the vet, but the team here was great at comforting her during her exam and treatment. Dr. Lautner took his time with us making sure to explain everything clearly, and make sure all my questions were answered. I really enjoy the automated text reminders about her medication and appointment schedule too. My only worry was the 8 days between when I initially called and their first available appointment, but the staff can't exactly make more hours in a day. What they did do was offer great service once we made it in.
Monique Haire: Our 17 year old cat hadn't been eating or drinking for 48 hours, so we tried taking to her previous vet and they told us they couldn't see her. I was so upset and after reading online about the East Side Animal Hospital I decided to see if they could examine her. Thankfully they were so sweet and able to see her first thing. The staff was all very caring and understanding of us needing to take our time with her. After taking time to talk about the options and the continued care, we ultimately decided it was time to put our cat to sleep. She was suffering and it was hard to watch. They were so gentle and gave us room to process through our emotions. If we ever get another pet in the future, we will absolutely bring them here! I can't say enough good things about them!
Donna Pollard: Called for a new patient said they are not accepting new patients its a hospital that never closes
Broc Mohon: They don't accept new patients
Brandon Frazer: Very friendly and knowledgeable. We love them!
geminibutts: Since my dog Elvira was rushed here after a car wreck we have had nothing but phenomenal service. The woman working the front desk, Briana, has been incredibly empathetic, kind, and helpful. Dr. Haines performed Elvira's leg amputation and femur reconstruction with no complications and was wonderful when explaining the surgery performed. The entire office has helped us tremendously during the worst time of our dog's life and we cannot thank them enough for working with us during such an incredibly difficult situation. They were upfront about the estimate as well, which I greatly appreciate as a medical worker used to seeing hidden fees in hospitals.
Debbie Schultheis: We were struggling to get our little Havanese in with his vet despite an unending, non-productive, painful sounding cough. His regular clothes nix boarded him, gave him his vaccinations, checked for heart worm, but did nothing to figure out his debilitating cough. I have always been used to receiving rapid care in the event of an emergency. I was told I would have to take him to the emergency veterinary clinic downtown if it was an emergency or they could get me in by January 8th.I called East Side Animal Hospital, and with it being the day before Christmas Eve, I did have to wait until the 27th, but they had no other time. The staff was very nice and empathetic. Dr. Haines was the best vet I have ever worked with. He kept apprised of all test results, approximate costs of tests and procedures, and answered all my questions unrushed. I thanked him for his thorough he was and his time, and he said that he only treated me the way that he would want to be treated with his pet.We are deeply saddened to discover our little guy is in heart failure, but but buoyed by the support and compassionate care we have received. We feel confident that we have a team working with us to help us keep our fella feel as well as he can and enjoy the life he still has ahead.
Lisa Eckiss: I am extremely satisfied with this animal hospital. Dr. Haines and his entire staff are top notch. Very professional, thorough, and totally caring! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this animal hospital! In fact, I would never take my fur babies anywhere else!
Emily Burns: Positive:Professionalism,ResponsivenessI love this vet clinic. They're very professional and take the time to make sure my babies are well taken care of. I definitely recommend them.
Uhhh Ummm: I just moved into evansville and this is one of the few vets still taking new patients, unfortunately. They are holding my very elderly dogs pain medication hostage to try to force me into getting her $200 cbcs every 6 months. They don't care about my very elderly dogs quality of life - they just want to milk as much money as possible out of me. And, if you complain they do you as a patient knowing no other vets are taking new patients.
Misty Hart: Positive:QualityEPH is always so caring about the pet and the owner. Love this place!!
Carli Anne: As a student that isn't from EVV, I had a dog emergency when the ER was closed. They were the only animal hospital that would allow me to take my dog without being a client. And I am so thankful! My dog had to get surgery and she made a speedy recovery! I am very thankful 🙏
Anna Johnson: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,ResponsivenessKind and courteous service. Dr. Lautner addressed all of my questions and concerns. I really appreciated how he explained everything he was looking for during the examination of each of my cats. Now I realize how thorough the exam was and how genuinely concerned the staff are for my fur-baby's health.

Advent Veterinary Services: what do users think?
Lisa Prescott: Update: I still love this vet. My kitty was puking so they got us right in and saw him. They are always happy and smiling and love the pets. Very affordable for what they provide. Thankyou Dr. RAMOS! You are a gift to our fur babies. ❤️Sweet staff that love pets and enjoy what they do. The prices are comparable to other vets and not in the high range. Dr. Ramos and Travis took great care of my kitty and it was obvious how much they loved meeting him. We didn't wait at all to get into a room, but we did have an appointment.
Darrell Powers: Just all about money not your pet
Matthew Gill: Took very good care of pet Guinea pig and my daughter who was very worried about him. They treated us so nicely and gave such good care to her pet.
Sarah Andrews: I love this vet place. Take real good care of ur animals.
Vanessa Brown: If you’re looking for a cold, clinical, “treated like a number” experience… Advent won’t be for you! : ) Dr. Ramos is boisterous, hilarious, and genuinely loves interacting with your pets. She is one of a kind, in the best way! You’ll never feel like a burden asking an extra question or calling to set something up. Nearly every staff member I’ve encountered is extremely friendly and helpful. Karolyn especially is always so upbeat and kind. Their prices are comparable to most full service clinics and they have hours you can’t beat. They will text with you, rather than calling, which can be super convenient if you need to verify something in the middle of a work day. Highly recommend!
Rod Smith: My pet is not a patient of this place, but I called for an emergency to be looked at. I was desperate for her to be seen. They turned my cat down because they thought she might have to have a over night stay. Without seeing her or nothing, the vet with no heart would not see her. 💔 all she needed was some anti nausea meds to hold her over till Monday and maybe some antibiotics until I was able to get her to see her vet. I would not recommend any pets to this place. Money was no object. How dare you. 😤 all I needed was you to see my baby. Please no need to respond back I will never call again.
irina: Wonderful services, compassionate staff, very knowledgeable and nice doctors.
Jacenda Sexton (Soshell311): I love this place. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They always take great care of my fur babies and sometimes we receive follow up calls to check on them. I absolutely recommend them to everyone!
Jennifer Barnett: The staff are very friendly and very attentive to your pets needs and making sure you understand the visit and what you need to know so you can feel at easy that your pet is getting the best care
Jacqueline Brand: Dr Ramos and her entire staff, are kind, knowledgeable, amazing! River has been a client since a puppy, he'll be 12 this year! Advent is our family.
Nibbles Touche: We had two pets that was seen . One 6yrs and one 7.Mine has been having trouble with Anxiety And needed to be put on medication for it. Both pets needed their shots for the yearThey did heart worm testIt was very kind and patient with our animals
KingOfGold: Terrible staff
Ashli Driver: Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and caring. Dr. Kilbane was very sweet, gentle, and very knowledgeable. We will definitely be going back with our other pets. ❤❤❤
Samantha Keach: Really impressed! We got into Advent because we have bearded dragons and they are one of the few vets that see reptiles in Evansville. A few months later we got a new puppy so we have bringing him here as well. Dr. Kilbane is absolutely wonderful! He has personally called to check on my pets and he is very patient and informative. I also love their hours. PLUS, I can text anytime and they respond and make it super easy to communicate with their office. Highly recommend!
Tammy Hodge: I have a German shepherd that is very aggressive and not so friendly. They have been so wonderful here. They're compassionate and caring and very understanding! I have had animals all my life and this is by far the best experience I have ever had!! I would highly recommend them for all of your vet needs!!
Spencer Ray: Best Vets in town
Rachell Hurt: Dr. Kilbane is a very compassionate and caring vet. You can tell he truly loves animals and their well-being. He even called us on a Sunday after our dog had gotten sick that week and was checking on her. Highly recommend!
Stephen Hess: The most outstanding bedside manner that Evansville Indiana could seek when in need of a VET. All staff are beyond matching expectations. Thank you!
Kelsey Renae: My sweet girl, Hopper, was in an accident a few weeks ago and required emergency surgery. Dr. Kilbane gave this sweet soul another chance at life and she is one happy and healthy bunny! I would recommend Dr. Kilbane to any animal owner as he is professional, caring, and very educated in veterinary medicine and care. The staff at Advent were always so kind and professional and had no problem answering any questions or concerns that I have.
Hannah Helm: I was thoroughly impressed with this place. After calling multiple other vets, nobody was able to see my dog even though it was vital for him to be seen. I called advent and without hesitation they got me in in an hour. The vet technician was the sweetest and the vet himself was great! I have never had such a great experience with other vets. I will also say that I was shocked on how low the bill was considering this was an emergency appointment. My doggie is already doing so much better! Highly recommend!
Jacob Smith: Absolutely amazing group of vets my brutus needed surgery on his eye. Dr Kilbane and his team took care of it and did an amazing job. Between the love they showed him during his stay and the personal calls from Dr Kilbane to see how he was doing I would absolutely recomend this group to anyone.

North Park Veterinary Care: what do users think?
Cindy Long Grayson: We have had NPV for 39 yrs, it was a wonderful and great place! Dr Nelson was awesome and Rhonda, the office manager was exceptional!! They both were very personal, they knew our names, our dogs and cats and the same with our adult kids pets too! They took the time to listen to problems or issues we had with our pets, gave us the best recommendations and care about making the cost fair!! They were the best!! Dr Nelson retired, it wasn't the same but we stayed because of Rhonda was still there and took very good care of us! When covid hit they became total strangers to us, the staff overturn was happening so much we didn't know any one except Rhonda. The Doctor and staff was not interested in any thing but costing us money. Our dog Sammi was 16 yrs old, she was on 5 daily meds, she had 3 very bad episodes in 2022. The 1st one cost us $400, which was fine because we weren't ready to let her go. Sammi had the 2nd one about 6 months later. It was over $800, we thought it was time to let Sammi go but Dr Goedde said no she thought it was worth saving Sammi, so we did. The 3rd time was just a few months later. We decided it was time for us to let Sammi go but Dr Goedde wouldn't do it, she said it was only going to be $54 and keep Sammi over night to get her better. So we did it but the next day when we picked up Sammi they had $362 in meds to take home to finish the healing process. We said no more meds! We never took Sammi back and Sammi passed 4 months later. We have 2 new doggies but have a new vet we already love!!
Lynn Berryman: Excellent care, Excellent people, and immediately handle problems with my pet!
Fellow Believer: Very professional
Jacob Briggs: The people at North Park Vet Care are great. We had a very very sick family pet who couldn't breathe and despite us never having been there, and them being technically closed, they took her in and treated her. The doc called us several times to update us. When the unthinkable happened and the aggressive treatment didn't help, they gave us all the options and the doc even offered to take our pet home and take care of her over the weekend to give her more of a chance if we wanted. That level of care and genuine concern is hard to find. We are so grateful for everything they have done. If you are looking for a vet in Evansville and this place has openings, you should definitely choose them.
rebecca jackson: We love this veterinary clinic, they're all so caring, informative and prompt. So glad we decided to bring our doggies here 😉❤️
Shannon Redilla: Li
James Stowers: Called and spoke with receptionist informing her that my 10 month old puppy was very ill, losing weight, not eating, and seems fatigued. In informed her this has been going on for a few weeks despite seeing a different vet and multiple treatments. I have called multiple vets around the tri-state area to see if any could see him but all say that they are not excepting new patients. I informed the receptionist that I really thought that my puppy might die if we don’t get him possibly in there soon and she said that there is nothing that they can do for us, that they are not accepting new patients, and good luck.
Ravenna Barzee: Both of my babies have received very good care and have not been scared as at another place I took them to thankyou thecs and if course the vet Sassys Mom AnnnieBarzee
Jason Marsh: Very friendly! They always take care of my 4 legged friends. Really enjoy visits with them.
Dob Sapata: Don’t waste your time. They are not accepting any appointments and they will hang up on you afterwards not helpful whatsoever They definitely lost me as a customer won’t even consider them in the future…..
Judy Jordan: Simply the best!
Donna Pollard: Called 3/25/22 not accepting new patientsQ
Barbara Ward: They always take great care of our fur babies
Mel Stewart: I decided to bring one of my cats here after he was misdiagnosed from a previous vet. I am SO HAPPY that I switched and wished I would have moved sooner! The time and detail Dr. Jill puts into each exam is incredible. Planning to move all of my cats to her now!
Matt M: Very thorough and friendly.
stacey stinson: Outstanding!
Linda Reising: Best veterinary care. Recommend Dr and staff. Very knowledgeable about your pet. Great care!!!!!
Teresa Samsil: Dr, Jill is fantastic pet's love her and her team. She cares about you and your family, that's how I can explain how she cares for your pet's.
A McDonnell: Always help ease the worries of this dog mama.
Jono Stack: My 2 fat girls got their annual checkup, shots, and heartworm meds. They saw both pups at the same time. I really appreciated the detailed examination report they provided. I am also very happy with cost.
Glenn Baldwin: They are great people !

Highland Veterinary Clinic: what do users think?
Deborah Blackford: Great service. Very reasonable cost.
Harmonie McCool: Take your business elsewhere!!! Waste of my time and money :( The lady that put info into the computer and asked me questions was super nice and thorough. She then told me the vet would be in shortly. I waited and he came in, said "hello", looked at my rats foot FOR LITERALLY TWO SECONDS and said "she’s fine give her two weeks" and LEFT IMMEDIATELY. Didn’t even tell me what to do about her swollen foot. I had just explained for 15 minutes to the nice lady that she won’t eat and keeps shaking/making clicking noises JUST LIKE MY OTHER TWO PETS THAT PASSED AWAY. Once he left I could tell the lady was trying to salvage that interaction and make me feel better but I could tell she knew that he didn’t help me in the slightest. He couldn’t care less about your pets :( I doubt he even knew what he was talking about because my last two keep getting worse and worse till they passed. He was in and out within five seconds kid you not. Unprofessional. I am so furious because not only am I scared my baby is going to do the same thing and pass away but that was my hard earned money for that jacka$$ to waste my time :( :( :(
Phyllis Gibson: I think Highland vet clinic is the best in the area been going there for many years and especially Dr Greg Gormely is the very best vet ever . Just my opinion.
Deb Mcknight: Your new followup for test results was thorough..However the followup questions I had were not answered...
Destiny Bradburn: Nice staff! Attentive. It was very hot in there though, our fluffy dogs were panting and a little uncomfortable.
Larissa Hartig: UPDATE: After getting a second opinion on my dog's bump, it is determined that my dog has a grade II cancerous mast cell tumor and will be undergoing surgery to remove the tumor. (I HIGHLY recommend Stone Ridge Vet.) Shame on Highland for ignoring my concerns and brushing my dog off. Please do not take your animals to Highland Vet!!----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------After now two incidents of the vet very clearly not showing any care or empathy towards my babies, we are taking our business elsewhere. The first incident took place last summer shortly after I adopted my puppy. She was breaking out horribly on her paw pads to the point there they were oozing pus and bleeding - poor thing couldn't even walk correctly. The vet took one look at her paws and said "She's fine. Probably just needs allergy medicine." Luckily, once I got her on Zyrtec and changed to a sensitive skin food, her paws cleared up. But I hate that she was very clearly in pain and they did nothing to help her, no antibiotics in case of infection, nothing. The more recent incident was when I took my almost 7 year old dog to get a bump on his leg looked at. The bump swells sometimes and becomes very uncomfortable for him. The vet came into the room and my dog immediately peed on the floor and tried to hide behind me - a very clearly nervous dog. The vet made no effort to make my dog comfortable and just messed with the bump for a couple of seconds before saying "He's fine. The bump is so small that I can't do anything for him." I told him that there is very clearly a bump there no matter how small, and sometimes it changes in size rapidly and is bothering my dog. He then shrugged his shoulders and said "Sorry. Can't do anything unless it gets bigger." I told him that it can be big one hour and the next it's small again. He said "The only thing I can think is drop him off for the day and hope it swells so that I can look at it if I have time." My husband and I left fuming and I in tears. Would not recommend this vet to anyone.PS- the vet tech was extremely nice and tried to further explain what the vet was telling us, and clearly cared that we were upset, but as for the vet himself, 0 stars.
DogFace Fitness: Zero stars. 1 star for the one nice lady who seemed to actually care about patient/animals. Overall, very poor customer service. Was placed in a room with my dog, tech came and asked questions and left without giving direction. We waited in the room for 35 minutes with no information assuming the vet would come in. I eventually went to the lobby to ask if anyone was coming back and they seemed confused and I guess sent the vet in. He was clearly annoyed I guess and gave TERRIBLE service. He didn’t speak AT ALL when I spoke to him. He barely talked at all. Completely ignored my request to check my dogs leg out. And then left. I excused myself to go checkout and they billed me for a 30 second evaluation, a lab test, and a prescription……no one told me about any medication so I asked. The front desk said oh they didn’t give it to you? Give WHAT to me? The antibiotics. No. So front desk told me my dog had an infection and they gave me the antibiotics.Overall, I understand that places can be understaffed or overbooked or whatever the problem might be. But it takes 2 seconds to communicate what’s going on to your customers so they might understand the situation. I won’t go back here. There is just a level of basic customer service that should come with $192 visit. That responsibility doesn’t fall on the office managers or receptionist alone. The veterinary we saw needs to retire if he can’t at the very least be polite or speak. We tried this place out because it was closer to home but I’ll take my 35 minute drive back to East Side Animal Clinic. Do better folks. You’re in the service business.
Rick Thomas: While booking the appointment was quick and easy, i felt uncomfortable when i arrived. The check-in desk staff has a poor, disgruntled attitude and someone sleeping. The boss must be on vacation. They double book appointments, and the waiting areas smell strongly of feces and urine, someone needs to clean it up. I left. There isn't much in the way of available Vet service in the area so I'll check out of state, it may just be an indiana thing. Missouri always seemed great.
Jeni Orr: They was very nice and very helpful with my dogs needs . I will definitely go back to them.
Sheriff john Brown: They have never let me down. Been going there for over 20 years.
Francine Rodriguez: Great
Amanda K: Affordable and has beautiful plants on the outside
Richard Tillotson: Great service. Everyone was amazing.
Cheyanne Stone: Went in due my cat having a lump on her neck and a dilated pupil in one eye. They proceeded to run blood work which came back normal. Then reccomended we get her a head x-ray to see what was going on. Later we get a call that she has an inoperable tumor in the back of her mouth and neck. Upon discharge they tell us the total is $500+. They charged us $500+ to tell us there's nothing they can do and that our cat will be dead within the next few months. At no point during our appointment did they indicate the exorbitant costs and or likelihood of inoperability. Had we known this, which they likely could've seen by looking into her mouth, without an x-ray, we wouldn't have consented to those unnecessary tests. It truly seems they took advantage of our ignorance and desperation in order to run as many tests as possible and charge us the most money. Completely unprofessional and inconsiderate of our situation. No regard for our financial situation or our cats health.
Thomas Hostetler: Friendly staff and great service.
Lisa Roseanna Gibbs: The vet seemed ready to check out years ago. Way to much money for little service.
MajestyKatie King: Wonderful place. You can trust them with your pet.
Stacey Orange: The people are nice but place is dirty and stinks terribly!! The bird cage inside is gross-they need to clean it.
Ray Kastner: Very good place to take your animals. very nice people.
Elizabeth Fitzer: I took in a stray cat and took her to this clinic to have her examined. We were pretty sure she was either pregnant or had something wrong with her stomach. The tech completely wrote us off and didn't listen to our concerns. She took the cat in the back for a urine sample and the vet "examined her when she was back there." The vet came in a few minutes later and looked confused and like he had never seen this cat before and just insisted that everything was fine. After paying $250 for basically nothing, we reluctantly made the appointment to get her fixed, but they couldn't get us on the schedule for a month after the appointment. Good thing, because she was in fact pregnant and had 5 kittens. We called to cancel the appointment to get her fixed and when asked why, we told them that she was very obviously pregnant and about to give birth. Her response was "yeah we probably can't terminate them at this point," which was very off putting. The whole experience was terrible.
Diane Yerkey: Very friendly outgoing atmosphere felt comfortable and so did Sky had a wonderful visit not to long of a wait answered all questions without saying let me check on that knew what they were doing felt like we were in good hands on our very first visit.
