HORRIBLE electric company.It's been 80 degrees in my house all month long and Centerpoint still charged me $260. I'm sure when I call they will do nothing. If your rates are that high just say so, stop acting like it's anything your customers are doing. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. HIGH rates!!

Tammy W: My power went out last night and my son didn't get to wear his bipap so I called to see about being on a high priority list so that doesn't usually happen because we purchased a generator but our string broke and couldn't use it we will get it fixed but I wanted to see about a high priority list for this reason incase we have problems with our back up and there answer was they dont have anything in place like that to help and pretty much nothing they could do for us I have to say that is pretty sad

Donovan Hefner: Paid a deposit in NOVEMBER to have service put in our names at our apartment. In January I received 3 months of electric bills, plus outrageous late fees from our property manager, as Vectren never switched over the service! We’ve called several times, and you guys say we have an account and service is set up in our names at our apartment, well I received a notice and ANOTHER bill from the property manager 2 days ago, stating it hasn’t been switched over and if we don’t get it taken care of this month, we will lose our home! So thanks Vectren, you’re happy putting a family with 2 little girls out in the street huh?

Sam Whitaker: I'm paying to a 3rd party my apartment complex doesn't even know about. I'm seeing charged 200$ a bill when we unplug everything even our damn microwave after seeing our first bill. This place will over charge you. I looked and compared to my neighbors on the website I'd like to know how I'm using double there electric when I'm barley home. This place is a legitimate joke I legitimately and so behind on bills it's rediculous maybe because my 260$ electric bill living in a 2 bedroom apartment when my parenta live in a 4 bedroom home and I'm still paying more than they are!!! It's rediculous!

Jared Buck: Turned off our gas because you failed to contact us the way we had requested and are now failing to turn it back on in a timely fashion. You have single handedly prevented me from seeing family, cooking, and enjoying my house during the holiday. Slept in a unheated house in 20 degree weather and we have never missed a bill. Shame on you.
