Eric Howard: Second time I've had to use this location due to insurance purposes.The first time it took close to an hour to get a car rented.The second time we called earlier in the day to let them know we would be in around 3 pm.We arrived at 2:50 only to be told there was no vehicle ready. It was at Midas and would be 30 minutes to an hour before vehicle would be ready.When I expressed dismay there wasn't much acknowledgement and concern. They just wanted to know if I was going to wait or come back. None of which were an option for me.Don't go to this location!!!!

Mark Stamm: I was quoted $1048 for a weeklong van rental. I missed the 12 o'clock return on Saturday by 2 hours. The location was of course closed by then and since they don't work on Sundays I was charged extra for Saturday and extra for Sunday. Needless to say, if you're looking to rent a vehicle, look somewhere other than enterprise, and if you do end up renting from them make sure you get all the details about their operating hours so they can't screw you like they did me. The total charge ended up being $1305.69, my recommendation is to try Hertz.

Sally Slygh: They like to make things as difficult as possible for you so you won’t rent from them. I had to drop my car somewhere for a repair and that company was going to pay for a rental. I also happened to be having a medical procedure today and couldn’t drive. They won’t deliver a vehicle and you can’t have someone else pick it up even if your insurance policy covers anyone with permission to drive your vehicle. I’ve dealt with them a few times. When my insurance company paid for my rental they gave me a car that was not even comparable to what I drive. I believe next time I’ll try Hertz. They want your business.

The lady behind the counter is the latest lady I've ever met in my life she would not give me a call whenever the car is in my name she just would not even look at my phone or got my insurance lady had to say also complained on her maybe fired I've never put back into facility.
Brad Butler: Have been an avid rental from this particular location for a little over a year now. I have never had any problems with the staffing, the vehicles, or anything. In fact, the one time I had a minor issue was last time, I had rented a full size sedan. They didn’t have any, so they gave me a Mustang Convertible. That’s great… in the summer. Unfortunately, this was winter, so I needed something with a little more grip. They said to try it out, and if I didn’t really like it, to trade it in to one of the other locations in Evansville. Ended up trading it in at the airport, for a Charger R/T AWD. Good thing, too, because snow came down that night. Friendly staff, great customer service, and clean cars.

I gave her my bank Visa card with almost 9000 on it but was turned away from a rental. I need to leave at 5am tomorrow. How in the world can I not rent a car? I wasted my time driving to the airport
Christian Chamberlain: I almost always deal with Dyris Haywood when I rent cars from this Enterprise location. The customer experience he provides should serve as an example to others. He's always pleasant, efficient, and handles issues calmly and effectively. Enterprise should be working hard to keep him around, if not moving him up the ladder entirely. I have never been to this location, nor did I live in the state of Indiana. The agent who allowed this rental to occur did not ask for any ID or Credit Card to be placed on file. Someone rented a car for over a month before turning the rental into this location. Today, I have been contacting Enterprise to remove this charge of over $800 in my name since December 2021!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS at this location due to possibly of FRAUD and STOLEN IDENTITY!!

Noland Clark: Was not very happy besides being expensive my wife and I got half way threw our trip and found drugs in the passenger door of the truck. I have a class A CDL not only would I have went to jail but would have also lost job if we had been pulled over.I have Rented from Enterprise for a number of years and have never had this type of problem before. The vehicle has a Covid cleaning tag on it but was definitely not cleaned properly or this would have been found. After my trip I explained this to the representative and he said he would help me out with the expense for my trouble, but not only did he not do that I was charged $27 for fuel. The truck was at half a tank as it was when I picked it up. Very disappointed

Scott Larock: I rented a car from there for a few weeks after a car accident. Overall, it was a good experience and the staff were friendly. My only complaint is that they are very difficult to reach by phone. When you call and you go through all the prompts, you can be on hold for a substantial amount of time.

Brad Herrell: I would give them a zero if possible. They DOUBLED the price ONE day before our scheduled vacation. We reserved the rental a couple of months in advance of our trip. Our rate of roughly $550 for a week was changed to $1024 the day before we were scheduled to leave. They called us and asked if our rental was for business or pleasure. My wife said for pleasure. They informed her that the EVSC employee discount has two rate options. My wife was only presented one link to choose from and the question of business or pleasure was not asked in the set up. Long story short, they refused to make it right! When we checked in to get the car the local manager told her they "fixed" the problem on the website. Not an ethical company or locale to deal with.

Kelly Counts: First time I had a reservation, they were overbooked, and didn't have a car for me. The second time, they only had a short-range tesla 3 available we were told to trade out in Dallas due to our destination not having changing stations.
Debbie Moore: The vehicle I got was very clean and exactly what I wanted for my trip. Kat was very helpful in getting me the perfect vehicle.
Lori Mack: The customer service at this specific location is exceptional. We had a family death and needed a vehicle for several weeks. Kat (Katrina) was so kind to my elderly parent and assisted them with navigating the rental process. Her customer care, professionalism and service delivery is appreciated and valued. Amy Mckinney: The night shift is incredibly rude. My reservation was for 6 pm. I called a few minutes before 6 pm and told them I was a couple of minutes away. She told me if I wasn't there at 6 pm she was locking the door. I got there at 6:02 and the door was locked. She was still in there but refused to open the door. I reserved the car to take my sick husband to a specialist in Indianapolis. This was the absolute worst experience. I was unable to get my husband to his appointment and hopefully he makes it to be able to get to the rescheduled appt. Don't Make a reservation for 6pm if the store closes at 6pm. You won't get it.

I've never seen a place that has a person like that who will go above and beyond and try to help and he lives down by Madisonville so he stayed pretty late and had to come back in early the next day. Nancy Cutrell: Great experience. I was upgraded to an SUV. I felt safer since I was driving for work into a snowy area. Mackensie Russell was a delight when I returned my rental. She asked to make sure everything went as expected, and even asked if I was treated well when I picked up the rental. I appreciate employees who care about their customers. This is why I keep returning to National.
Crystal Lynn: I had a great experience with getting a vehicle from National Rental. The process was extremely fast and the staff was very professional. Upon arrival, I was told that no cars were available and that they only had trucks left. I was willing to take a truck with no problems. I'm a southern girl:) but a SUV showed up at the last minute. The SUV was waiting at the front door for me and my travel companion. The SUV was clean and filled with gas. The return process was even faster. Thank you National!

Scott Massamore: I try to fly into this airport frequently and rent from this location. Unfortunately my flights are usually late arrivals around 10pm or later. National/Enterprise has always worked with me and said while their hours say they close at 11pm they actually stay open 2 hours past the last flight. For some reason my carrier has pushed my arrival time on my regular flight to 11:04pm and now National/Enterprise will not let me rent a car online. So I try and call the airport location to discuss and it just rings and rings before it tells me my call cannot be transferred. When I try the other methods I get someone at the corporate office who tells me they can't rent a car after 11pm. So my options are pay over $200 extra to Uber home and Uber back the following day to pickup which I have no desire of doing or to change my flight to a different airport such as Nashville that has later hours.While this location has been helpful and useful in the past, it appears that will no longer be an option which is why I give the 2 star rating.

She said they closed at 5pm. I asked why it let me choose 5PM as a pick up time then and unfortunately she had no answer to that. If you close at 5PM, why would you allow that time to be chosen on the web site then? I was told they open at 9AM. That's fine, but my family and I would have been at our destination by the time I now have to pick up the rental.
trudy konrath: disappointed, We have rented vehicles from EVV on a multitude of occasions and we got a vehicle from National this past weekend that was to say the least subpar. It smelled like stale cigarette smoke, the back seats were not cleaned, and the tire sensor on a tire was malfunctioning. When I reported these claims to the customer service agent at the counter on the return of the vehicle, she merely stated "sorry". I did not notice the smell at first because the air was on, when I had to turn it off is when I realized so it was just too late, the sensor I thought was no problem just check the tire pressure....no it would go from one number to another so it wasnt the tire pressure it was the sensor. I did not have to use the back seat as I was traveling solo, but on my return I was traveling with more than I came with and was putting things in the back seat and it had what appeared to be sand on the back seats. Just disappointed with the vehicle and the lack of concern from customer service.
Bill Swart: I cannot give zero stars. I am utterly dissapointed - arranged travel plans and asked Elaine specific questions about the hire. When the travellers were stranded at the airport the information given was incorrect or incomplete. This will cause me to rather catch a bus or hitchhike before I ever use or recommend National to anyone ever again
Lupe Rangel: I am an elite member of national. The last 2 times i guess E IS FOR EVERYONE doesn't include me. First a 300 deposit. I have never been charged anytime before this. It feels like the Gestapo was behind the counter. What happen to friendly customer service last time i will ever step into a National or enterprise.
Jared Jeffries: Not very helpful attendant at desk on my Thursday morning car rental. Had me call a number to answer a question that the customer service representative said the desk attendant should have answered.
Gary Burge: Friendly and efficient counter staff in airport. Car was new and clean. Easy in/ out at the airport.
Robert Williams: Up until recently I have had a good longstanding relationship with national. The last three rentals haven't been sanitized and properly cleaned. This is real concerning seeing that we are in a pandemic. I was promised a call from the manager at the location to discuss my complaint with the cleanliness and never received a call. There was trash in the car from the previous renter that made it clear that the car had not been cleaned and sanitized. Also the staff and management at enterprise are very rude. I never had a problem with the national staff and management. Unless there is another National in Evansville, I don't think I will continue to be a customer.
Donna T: Local Rental Site (EVV) - I have been a member of National Car Rental for several years. My job requires me to travel to locations outside the local area reach requires to rent a car. I have never been told that a deposit was required if you live locally until this last rental. I was told if I had arrived via flight that I would not have to make a deposit. This does not make sense at all. Very disappointed. I noticed the National Rental counter was closed, so Enterprise assisted with my rental. I was told this process was to align National with Enterprise. The deposit is returned once you return the car. If this is the new process to also charge a deposit, National should communicate this change to it's members. For budget and expense purposes this is important to know up front.
Ken Caryl: Great selection of vehicles at competitive prices. I've been using National Car Rental for years and am rarely disappointed.
Robert Morin (Bob): The rental was poor. First, the car stank of smoke, though it was to have been smoke-free. Second, I called six to ten times over the next 18 hours, before I left the area, and I could not reach the local office to see if they would give me a smoke-free vehicle. I kept getting outgoing messages putting me on hold for five minutes before telling me to call back later. Third, the car was a Ford Focus, and was supposed to be a full size car. Well, its not. Its a two-door sedan, and with the seat adjusted comfortably for my five-foot eight-inch frame, there was no leg room for a rear passenger. I was not happy with the deal.
Lisa Tomlinson: Extremely friendly. Very helpful. Car was very clean. No smoke or lingering fabreze smell. Eat out and back.

Al Dombrowski: Service Counter WAIT was very long (roughly 25 minutes). I laugh now when I see the lose weight commercials for National. Only one person working and the person was very slow.She asked me if I would like an upgrade and I said sure since if it is on National for the long line and wait I encountered. She said no it would not be on National and said something to the affect that other folks waited just as long in line as you for whatever that means.Instead, I got a heavily smoked in Chevy that made my stomach sick as soon as I got in the car. Instead of heading all the way back to the counter to get a new car and wait in line.Also, this was after waiting 8 hours to catch another flight after I missed my connection while waiting for my first flight's gate to open up for 50 minutes.Its a good thing at least Marriott takes care of me unlike National and American Airlines.Looking for another rental car option.
