Fuh Q: This place gave me medication that belonged to someone else. Completely wrong name. If that isn't a HIPPA violation I don't know what one is. The wait is usually not to long but make sure you check the name because they have messed this up before.

Tabitha Beasley: I have never had trouble with a pharmacy the way I do this one. My prescriptions are never ready on time. I either have to call or walk in two or three times before my medication is finally ready to be picked up. This last time it took two weeks to get my medication. I went on Friday to pick it up and the lady told me it was on back order and they were waiting for my doctor to fax back. Today I picked up my medicine (FINALLY) with no issues but once I left I received a snooty phone call from someone stating that I had a medication that has been ready for 5 days and needs picked up. When I know for a fact it was not ready for 5 days. I don't know what is going on with this pharmacy but I have never had trouble like this anywhere else.

In my opinion, they are by far better than the Burkhardt pharmacy location and CVS hands down!

Ole Security: This is the worst pharmacy in Evansville. Almost every time me or my mother come here, they don't have the medication ready, even if we show up hours later than when they said it would be. Shout-out to Taylor at the Taylor avenue pharmacy for being their most rude employee. All around unprofessional, there are some workers that are compassionate and speak to you like you are a human being but other than that maybe think of hiring better people? Or people that are actually qualified to be a pharmacist and not someone just looking for the next paycheck? Just a thought.

Corey Ellermann: Line was crossed today by this pharmacy. The past two years here have been terrible, between missing target times for filling and not advising me they were out of critical medication. Today I was called in an antibiotic by my doctor. Advised by doctor that if I did not start the antibiotic today, the likelihood of needing IV antibiotics goes up significantly. Called and informed the pharmacist this, and they promised by 4:30. Also was told that pharmacy closes at 7. By six, I had heard nothing. Called again and was informed it would be ready by 6:20. Just needed to get there by 7. Left at 6:30, received text at 6:32 saying it was ready. Live approximately 12 minutes away. Arrived at pharmacy at 6:43. Total of 7 vehicles in drive-thru. Waited for several minutes, no movement except in first line. Moved into first line at 6:58, and, big surprise, line starts moving. Get to window at 7:01, and was told by Keiona (sp) that they couldn't help me, because I was too late. Told her I was in line well before 7, and was told I was lying. She saw me pull up after 7. I told her this was not the case, and she told me to get there sooner next time. Told her this was literally not possible, because it was not even ready until less than 30 minutes before closing. Yelling began. Ultimately, they gave me my prescription, but it took a lot of arguing to get there. I understand they are under pressure, due to the state of the world, but you NEVER call a customer a liar, especially when there is proof that is false. Recorded calls, text timecodes, and camera footage from their own security system doesn't lie. Transferring all medicine tomorrow. By the way, if you want to know why the place has fallen apart, they don't even have a store manager, according to their receipts.

Aerial DeVillez: Every single month for the last 8 months I have been coming to this pharmacy because it is close....every single month I have issue after issue with them not filling my daughters prescription or they didn't order it so it will be another week before she can have her medication that she has to have to function daily. It is outrageous that it has been 8 months of problems and probably 6 out of the 8 times I've had to take her prescription somewhere else to even get her medications filled. We will not be back to this place. The people who work here are rude and don't even try to be nice to customers....customers pay your bills, no customers no income idiots!!! Will be switching to a pharmacy that care about their customers immediately.

Michael Moore: My experience. My significant other scheduled us an appointment on Sunday April 25th 2021 to receive the Covid vaccination on Friday April 30th 2021. My appointment being at 5:40 pm and hers to be at 6:00 pm. We did the registration on our phones on April 27.On the day of the appointment We both walked up to the counter at 5:30pm. I went first being my appointment was at 5:40. I was given a paper with multiple questions and A pen. I sat at the nearest chair to complete the questionnaire as she walked up to confirm her appointment.She was denied the vaccine.The pharmacy attendant (Maui) claimed that they did not want to open another vial just to give her the first dose of vaccine. And to reschedule her appointment for Monday 3rd 2021.In my opinion This was handled wrong. Why did she not receive a call about being denied before making the trip to the store? More importantly, why was she denied the vaccine? If Covid is as dangerous as claimed to be then why would the pharmacy not open the vial to potentially save a life? Covid does not take weekends off. At this time, there is no shortage of the vaccine.If you have the ability to save a life just by opening up a vial then why wouldn’t you do it? Why wouldn’t you call her to cancel, when you called me at 6:20 pm to confirm my appointment? Unfortunately I was en route and the message happened to go straight to my voicemail..Just shocked on how this was handled. Has me questioning if it’s important or not important to get vaccinated to fight Covid.The shot was free. It did not cost anything. Why couldn’t she get one as well?If management sees this, feel free to contact me to better explain. I’m the meantime, I will be looking for a way to contact you about it so that you may better explain this experience to the both of us.
Pyro Badger 42: Don't use this pharmacy if u are taking care of an elderly family member. They gave an 86 yr old pain meds to someone else . After being on this medication for years she will have no dose for three and a half days.

Customers can’t get or take advantage what the rep won’t let them.Not to mention hold times to speak either one is 9 minutes or longer being forgotten about.

J.: They are one of the only compound pharmacies that have a "sterile room". This allows them to make unique compounds for parenteral administration; such as intramuscular and subcutaneous injections. I order Methylated B12 shots through Hooks Apothecary and it averages about $10 a dose. Prices are very reasonable!

I had the pleasure of living in Evansville for almost 4 yrs, during which my health improved dramatically largely due to Hook's and their masterful compounding . When I moved 2 1/2 yrs ago, things took a dramatic downturn and I came to understand not all compounding pharmacies are equal. But Cathy was very patient with me and answered all my questions. They even ship the medication to me here in GA! Aaron Brown: Worst pharmacy ive ever used. Never have your medicine ready when its supposed to. The big girl that works the register is rude to elderly customers and if you ask her a question she comes back with a sarcastic remark. The pharmacists there are all scatter brained. I dont recommend anyone using this pharmacy!! Unless your ready to spend a hour of your day trying to get your meds refilled.

Allyssa Umbanhowar: If I could give zero stars I would. I had a billing issue and the staff were very rude, and when it was fixed I was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. When I came in literally 45 minutes later I was told that the prescription was not ready. And it would be 10 more minutes. Then I talked to someone else and it had been ready the entire time. Even if it hadn’t been ready, the techs were in the pharmacy on their phones talking about people and their new babies and who had just had them. Very unprofessional and nothing will get done that way. I have been at this pharmacy 2 months and I will be transferring again. I would rather drive 20 minutes extra than deal with this pharmacy again.
