Stan Barringer: Ace & Sons installed a beautiful fence around the outside of the deck around the new inground pool we installed. What set them apart was that Ryan Gates (great name for a fence professional) came out to our house, stood in the yard with me, and answered all my questions about the whole project. He later responded to all my follow up questions and offered recommendations for some details. Their cost was very competitive, but the competitor I had contacted would not come out and only told me a price per foot to use to estimate the cost. Ryan came out again a couple of times during the pool construction to mark where some of the fence posts would be installed, so I could coordinate where the pool contractor and other contractors located underground connections and other work. Scott Mason: Recieved a call from @ Mr. Mr Fence yesterday asking me when would I be making payment for the vinyl fence they installed. I replied there was a $500 overcharge in the original bill I was waiting for corrected invoice. Heather told me it was sent by email (their prefered way of communicating). I stated I would be glad to promptly pay unlike Mr. Fence which took 7 months and 7 days to complete my project being told it would take 4-8 weeks and my contract stated 45 days (contract time terms below). April 7 2022 I paid $8560 to Mr Fence to start the project and after having no communication for nearly 4 months I called asking for updates. Finally in late September the owner called per my request but “educated me” on how he traveled the country conducting fence installation training. I replied it might behove the Mr Fence brand to spend that time to conduct internal customer communication training. During yesterday’s conversation I was told I would be provided emails prior to September where Mr Fence communicated I have yet to receive. Today I sent the remaining balance of $9536.62 for a total cost of $17,121.62, please Mr. Fence use that and the interest you earned the past 7 months on my initial $8560 to pay for the much needed communication training Heather said Mr Fence would be having the next 3 days along with a little kindness as well.…. contract time terms provided.

Becky Gurley: We love the fence. Bruce and his crew did a fabulous job. I wish I could say the same for Al and the manager at Mr Fence in Evansville. We were told b May, it would be installed in 2 weeks. Between misreading property lines and utility lines, our project was put off for almost 2 months. I provided them with printouts of or property lines from our county property office in Early June. Al demanded a letter from the property owner behind us stating it was ok to put the fence on his property. This was never an issue. When I tried to explain this, Al got very rude and talked down to me and I complained. We paid half down on our fence and we’re retaliated against because I complained about the way he talked to me. We kept getting put off with no date of completion until we had enough and told them”the fence or our money back!” Finally on July 8th our fence was put in.Service:Custom fence construction
Ariana Tanoos: Our neighbors used this business to replace their fence, which adjoins to our fence. When we were getting a shed delivered, we discovered that we would have to take down the portion of our fence and were worried about damage to the neighbor’s new portion. We called Mr. Fence, and they came right out to ensure that the fences were not truly connected. They even explained what we would need to do to make the fence removal easiest and also repaired a portion of our fence that had separated from our backyard neighbors who have dogs. We were concerned about the opening and our toddler reaching through. They did this at no charge and were just excellent to us, even as non-customers!

We scheduled an appointment for 2/14 to discuss what we wanted, they made a suggestion that turned out better than what we had in mind. We gave them the go ahead to build our pool deck. The materials were delivered on 2/20, the install crew showed up on 2/21. Three and half hours later our deck was installed and finished. The installation crew was excellent. They explained everything to us about the deck. They were professional and knowledgeable about their work. They properly cleaned up after they were finished. John Simon: We chose to use Rivercity Fences and Decks over more established fence contractors because he was a little cheaper in the quote received and he was trying to establish his client base. We should have went went the bigger more established companies for a few dollars more. Over promise and under deliver is the motto. Fast talk with little intent to follow up and insure 100% customer satisfaction. Self touted as a gate master. None of the 3 gates were built in the same manner and all have needed additional attention after he has failed to show up several times to address.
