Janette Prickett: My stepson, granddaughter and I met with Jonathan Alexander the day after my husband died (Sept. 1st). He offered to come to my house, which was a big relief, since I was so tired from taking care of my husband. He was very articulate in explaining all the details and continued to be a big help over the next few days. On the day of the Celebration of Life Service across the street at Old North UMC, the rest of the staff was so caring and helpful. They made sure the things we wanted taken to the church got there and back to the funeral home for us to pick up after our dinner. Holly Wiebke: When I went to Alexander North with my friend a few weeks ago to make her final arrangements, she was assured her casket would not be open for even family viewing. She had been adamant that NO ONE would see her in her casket. While sitting in the family kitchen area a few weeks later, at her funeral, someone from Alexander came in and asked her niece if she wanted to see her aunt before they closed the casket. Not being family, I didn't feel it was my place to intervene (wish I had!), even though the niece knew her aunt's wishes. Who at Alexander dropped the ball on this one?

Chet noneya: Alexander's truly went above and beyond. My brother who passed had been estranged from the family and living in Evansville. Alexander contacted us after a extensive search after Mike passed. They handled all arrangement to get his remains returned to us so he could be reunited with mom and dad. Suzy Blesch: The folks at Boone are the best ever at probably one of your worst moments. Their online service is perfect. They do a lot of extra to help us navigate through everything loss puts in front of us. Their advice is genuine, from the heart, and with your best interest in mind. I’ve had several experiences with them and no doubt one day they will serve me as well.
Larry Bristow: Many years ago my father pre-planned his final arrangements with Boone. When the time came to call them after he passed I'm not sure if I should be more grateful to my father fir his foresight or to Boone for their care. When we met with Jordan to confirm the details it was a smooth process that covered everything in a compassionate efficient manner. As a result the visitation, service, and committal were exactly what we wanted. We quickly realized Boone had attended to details we had never even thought about.

They had the limo pick us up at our church in Newburgh, so we wouldn't have to worry about going back to Evansville and getting our cars. They even brought the flower arrangements to the church. They have checked after the service within a week to see if there was anything they could help us with. When my uncle passed away several years ago and my Grandma had to ride in an ambulance from the nursery home, they made arrangements where she could be in the procession in the ambulance. If you are looking for a wonderful place for your loved ones I highly recommend it. They treat you as family.

Kim Rumsey: I highly recommend Boone Funeral Home to those who are looking for funeral and/or burial services for their family or other loved ones. I would also recommend pre-planning because it can be done in advance when you have time to think about what arrangements you want and do not have to burden the family with those decisions at the time of your death. My mother pre-planned and paid for her arrangements at Boone several years before she passed. When the time came Jordan Duncan walked me through the process of updating information but we had my mother's wishes in writing. For example: she had picked out her casket, stated where she wanted her service and burial and even specified she wanted spring flowers for her casket spray. I live in Atlanta and with Jordan's help was able to make all the final arrangements without coming there in person. Brittany in the office was also a huge help and answered my questions in a timely manner. Boone also provides a private lounge area for the family so we were able to bring in food since our visitation was over the lunch hour. The lounge had a screen that showed the visitation room so that we didn't miss anyone. I honestly can not say enough about the positive experience I had with everyone at Boone who made this difficult time easier for me and my family.
Vivian Speedy: When my mother pre-planned her funeral I hated sitting in on it. But in hindsight I can see how kind she was in doing so. With the help of your staff I was able to make sure that all of my mother's wishes were carried out. Jordan and all of the staff were comforting and kind to me. It made itis experience bearable. They were very helpful and made the planning and process of my mother’s cremation seamless at a difficult time for our family. When I first called, I was provided an all inclusive price and the timeline of normal events in the process. Our coordinator, Ellen, was always available if we had any questions or needed anything along the way. The staff members at Boone Funeral Home captured my son’s love of the beach and the Miami Dolphins by adding a beach scene as the background of his obituary picture and a Miami Dolphins helmet on his bookmark. These little added touches meant so much to us.
Stacey Hebebrand: The entire staff at Boone were so glad incredibly helpful when my father recently passed away. They were organized and thorough, walking me through all the steps and really helped me plan a meaningful and personalized service for him. They really listened to what I wanted and helped with suggestions. And they were so extremely compassionate and what could have been just a very sad experience ended up feeling very comfortable and relaxed. They are in every way professional, but also ended up feeling like part of the family.
