Matthew Arnett: I would give them negative stars after my experience. I picked up a high lift kit from them Friday 3/10/23 after being quoted $60 over the phone. When I get there, they rang me up for $723.97. I was okay thinking something was obviously wrong and I don't know much about garage doors. I told Andy, the salesman, that I would probably be bringing everything back before I left. He said that was fine as long as the springs had not been tightened. Fine. I bring everything back today after I found the identical kit for less than half of their price and was told the springs could not be returned. After telling them several times I was told by Andy that as long as the springs were not tightened, everything would be fine, Jeff, the owner comes out and is immediately on attack. I ended up being cussed by one of the owners then he insists on seeing the springs which are in the back of my truck. As we were walking out the door, he says "I have a feeling this spring JUST got tightened." Jeff ends up calling his daddy (or someone at another location) and after the call, he turns around to Andy and tells him he needs to leave because someone is on their way to fire him. I get shamed by Andy and Jeff one more time and a third employee hands me my original check. Additionally, I had priced an opener through them and quoted over $800. I bought the same opener on Amazon (factory direct) for $417. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Not only terrible customer service but drastically inflated prices.

When this person wasn't available I went back to Evansville Garage Door the next day to see if they could help me. The following morning two employees, Jason and Ryan, came by and figured out what was wrong (some installation issues) and worked until things were running smoothly. Both Jason and Ryan were very kind and helpful. On top of that, the price to get my door back to working order was very reasonable. Talk about some outstanding customer service!
