Angel Mounds State Historic Site: what do users think?
irina: Beautiful!
Tainã Figueiredo: Nice walking trails
seth backes: One of the coolest historical sites in the Evansville area! Nice easy trails through the surrounding woods.
Altheya: Staff did such a nice job decorating and prepping activities and treats for Halloween. Thank you!
Craig Lutz: Very cool historical place.
Rebecca Thomas: Nice museum. A lot of displays were very hard due to really-bad lighting and the font used. The real gem is out back. Take time to walk the trails, out in the grass, around and up Angel Mound.
Charles.M Gass: Interesting
Brittany Harris: I took my family here for their Halloween event. They had games, trick-or-treating, a barrel ride, and a small spooky trail. We had a blast!!
Victoria Austin: We had a great time at Halloween Hubaloo!! We missed the haunted woods this year, but the trick or treating was so great! I loved how the lights went out and created that extra spooky atmosphere! Should've played so Halloween themed music over in the game area but overall it was fun time🎃🐈‍⬛🦉🕸🕷👻🧟‍♀️🧛‍♀️
Maranda Kneppe: Interesting site, but not at all accessible or disability-friendly.
brian fathera: Great for learning about Indian mounds.
Susan M.: Love the museum and walking around the mounds. It is very peaceful and good way to get your steps in.
David Tapp: Museum is wonderful and does a great job explaining the culture that built the mounds.
Tim Deane: This park is a great place to visit.I'm here for the week of Native American Festival.Everyone is very nice.On another note..It seems the park is highly under used.
Johannes Blackhead: Another link in the chain of civilizations, make sure you enjoy a good walk.
Lee Pilkington: It's just ok. The exhibits are lacking light. Buy some bulbs, man. You don't have to be Cahokia but you do need light. As for the mounds, the ancient remnants lack modern amenities. How did the Native Americans trade without Marketplace?I still had fun :)
Amanda Shettlesworth: Very interesting and beautiful space.
Marsha Mann: Actually I can't really rate this one. I was only there too watch my grandson run cross country
Mabel: It's oK....The museum part is nice..the displays/depictions of the past history was interesting...You sure get a workout..walking out to the mounds..It's all mowed grass paths..see a variety of flowers and plants..But the mounds...Are just that..a mound of dirt..with grass n weeds growing over it..Was ok..but I wouldn't stop again..
Ennaz Yelhti: The Park Ranger was very helpful and generous with her time
Jessica Abell: Enjoyed the bike trails at Angel mounds. Crew working on the trails Friday evening was doing an amazing job. Loved the new bridges that they put in. A little bit for everyone.

Newburgh Museum: what do users think?
Al Garcia: My experience at the museum was such a tootin good time. It was quaint and beautiful and the lady helping us was a real gas! Definitely going to return!
Judy Henry: Everyone was so nice!
Jo Rainwater: This museum is located in a charming town. While small, it packs some interesting history. I hope you get the pleasure of meeting Alonzo Moore. He provided us with some local history, including his own ancestor.
Edith: Lots of interesting things
Jim Shekell: Very nice
Harlen Gorman: All I have heard is great reviews about this. We are going to have to go check it out Harlen 2017
nancy phillips: I take my Senior cousins several times a year to the museum Three of them lived in Newburgh as children. They always enjoy seeing the materials and displays. The theme this time is the river and flooding. Cousin Johnnie Fay (Pfingston) Esche has loaned her Cypress Beach Ferry notebook for this quarter. I think our host learned as much from my cousin, as we did her. This was a wonderful outing for me and my cousins. Grancy's Day Care looks forward to the next display, the Capture of Newburgh.
