Mariah Kahl: David was a great sales guy and very kind with my issues, but for the car i would give no stars. I’ve had problems with it since day one. They’ve fixed my car 3 different times and every time I get it back a new problem occurs. There is warranty but the things that are wrong isn’t covered unfortunately. I’m very upset that I put 3k down on this car and it’s giving me more problems then any other car I’ve owned.It’s been about 3 months now that I’ve had this car. Not only is there an exhaust leak which I was going to fix, but now my car won’t start at all and the mechanics can’t figure out why!!! So now I’m stuck with a car payment when I can’t even drive the car and auto max has done nothing to fix my problem or even offer a different car!! It’s been one thing after another with them!!8 MONTHS later and now I have to rebuild the transmission, had to replace the catalytic converter and now there’s knocking in the engine!!! This is by far the worst place. This man didn’t offer a different car or anything knowing I had problems from the beginning.

I purchased my car 6 months ago and waited to write a review until now to be able to give an accurate review of the car, and honesty of the car lot ,I haven't had any problems with the vehicle at all, it's been great, I got a great car at a good price. I'd definitely recommend this car lot. David Lee was great and went above and beyond to help me get financed at a decent interest rate.

Josh Martin: Well I have to change my original post. Sad to say they sold me a vehicle knowing it had problems and acted like they were doing me a favour giving me a 90 day warranty. I of course didn't find out the problems until a month after purchase. Now they wont answer or return any phone calls. I turned them over to the BBB. They responded to them with nothing but lies about me and my fiance. So if you want a vehicle with problems that you'll have to deal with and pay to fix then by all means go to them. Otherwise I would avoid them all together.
Luna Mossberger: John and David were amazing they not only picked out a fuel efficient car but also family safe on top of 92,000 miles on it. they had excellent communication skills when describing the vehicle and the loan process and the financing process. Automax made it really easy to buy our first car I would recommend them no matter what they will always have our business. They were very detailed and explanation very friendly they have amazing customer service!!!!!They deserve 10/10 stars.BUY FROM AUTOMAX YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!
Rob Evitts: Just don't point out any flaws on any of cars on lot. Simply mentioned few door dings and the over friendly salesman's personality flipped. I suddenly became a mother f#!;ker amd had no right questioning quality of his cars because nobody could touch them. Yelling, throwing arms around, a real tool. Guess he didn't notice dings until I pointed them out but still. Needless to say, no sale, no way, lose the tude.
JSA Studios: The owner and employees are super helpful and nice. They are selling you a car at a super high price. They sell you the car for almost triple the price with MAX apr. they tell you they put all new brakes on all cars and they dont. I didn’t realize until after I got the car that it had 2 accidents and the cars odometer was rolled back as well.

During our time with Superior Auto Evansville, IN District Managers and employees alike have come and gone however for the most part my son and I had positive experiences. I found honest and helpful people at the Evansville, IN location. When you need a vehicle and have less then perfect credit as my son did a buy here pay here auto dealership was the only option. The down side was the interest rate as it was high and you pay a lot more for the vehicle; but what do you expect when your credit is shot? Superior Auto wants to keep existing customers but do understand when you reach financial maturity and are able to buy somewhere else at a much lower interest rate. I did ask prior to trading in our car elsewhere if we could get a lower interest rate and learned that wasn't an option.I want to thank Superior Auto for years of professional and helpful service. I do recommend Superior Auto to others who may need a hand up to rebuild financial auto security as we did.Thank you,

Cody Kessler: Shady place. Only honestly helps his own race. Had a Lexus for a year traded it in for a equinox. Belt broke just two weeks later. Then got a mustang. Had for just thirty days before breaking down and overheating. Rude when I bring it up. Doesn't seem to remember we were loyal customers for a year. Treats us like we're transparent and allows others to get helped before us even if we were there first. Do NOT recommend. Also I do know the laws of Indiana even without a warranty. There's still a say so I know this for a fact. They like to think your stupid and try to act like they can get away with rigging their cars.

Nicki Fox: This place is as crooked as they come. We bought a car here in Nov 2019. Just needed an extra car to get from point a to point b. It was sold to us with a non-functional drivers seatbelt that was supposed to be fixed. Never heard back to have it fixed. We have paid almost double for the car and spent over $1400 just to fix the brakes because parts of the brakes fell off while my husband was driving. The entire car shakes when you drive it. Everytime I call for a pay off amount, it's the same amount. We got a little behind during COVID but have caught up and already paid way more than the original asking price. Very crooked company.

rdr2008cait: I had a really great experience here. I knew which vehicle I was looking for and the salesman was very nice honest and to the point and we came to an agreement quickly . I was in and out the door with the vehicle within 45 minutes. It has been 2 months now without any surprise issues.

Dustin Johnson: Purchased a dodge ram here around 6 years ago. I didn't have a have maybe over a month and slung a rod through the block leaving me stranded in Henderson on a cold night with my wife. The vehicle had a slight engine noise when I Purchased it. They said it didn't have any mechanical problems. I had a new engine installed. Showed them my paperwork which was over 5,000. They offered me nothing. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I should have never purchased a vehicle from auto plaza. Very bad experience would not recommend
Austin Horn: The first two cars that we looked at both had engine misfires, and the dealer seemed completely fine selling them in this condition. One we noticed because we were there to test drive it, and the other, simply because it was completely missing a spark plug and a spark plug cable. I couldn't imagine what shape some of the other cars are in.
