Lisa Ferrari: Went first time for nail trim. Cut her claws incredibly short, one toe coated in the powder to stop bleeding when they gave her back to me. Worse yet, she is now infested with fleas and I have to pay for a flea treatment. Single animal home and she absolutely did not have fleas before we visited. Not pleased.

Victoria Clarisse: My fur baby loves doggie daycare. He's had his nails trimmed once. He's the best breed of them all, mutt, so we don't think too much about how his breed is supposed to look. Everyone just knows he's a handsome, happy boy who loves his doggie daycare days. He sits pretty in the car on the way there and pouts on the way home.... and then promptly falls asleep. I take him especially on house work days so I can get straight to it after work while he naps.

Jasmine Folz: We have boarded our rowdy dog here several times in the past 2 years and she has done well. It always seems clean. Today at pickup however, I had to argue with the owner over hours. It was 12:50 pm and she was determined that it was Saturday and she was not open until 3pm for pickup. It is in fact Sunday and she was supposed to be open until 1pm. It could have been a simple mistake but she was not nice about it. I will be checking around for comparable services elsewhere. I'm not saying "never again" as my dog seems to be well cared for but it was totally unnecessary for her to be ugly to me.

Terra Nord: RE: In Reference to the Review submitted by Margaret Devine...I have known Barb at Trademark Boarding Kennel for at least 14 years, I CAN NOT believe that she would say anything like that to a client. She is and always has been a very nice lady... she has went above and beyond showing me she cares for my dogs.. as a matter of fact when I arrive with my dogs she'll sit on the ground and love and pet on them EVERY time. She has NEVER said one unkind thing to me (or my family members) in person or over the phone. She started watching our 1 Min Pin in 2004, and since then we have added 2 more little fur babies to our family. Barb takes excellent care of them and we have NEVER had a problem. My Brother in law takes his 4 Bostons there, and my Brother and his wife take their Puggle there.She has had a sign CLEARLY posted on her front entrance since I started taking my dogs there stating her hours. There are TWO gates, one is posted Private entrance and is small it seems to lead into her residence and there are always several dogs at that gate...it NEVER crosses my mind to enter that gate hence the sign PLUS the barking dogs. The second gate is the one we always enter to drop off and pick up our dogs, it is a large swinging gate that a car could fit through. Several times there is a dog or two at that gate. Normally Barb greets us at the gate and is in the process of putting those dogs away so we can enter the gate once SHE opens it. If for some reason Barb is not there, there are other signs CLEARLY posted saying ring dinner bell or call her number for help. PURE common sense tells me at least two reasons NOT to open this gate.. 1) it has a safety feature lock on it so dogs can not get it open, and on your FIRST visit to her kennel she explains that this is one of her play yards for clients dogs.. I'd sure hate for someone from off the street walk up open that gate and "accidentally" let my dogs escape 2) the signs pretty much are a clue NOT to just walk in... I mean that is her property. As far as her rates go from 2004-2015 it was the SAME rate for 1 dog. In late 2015 she increased it by $2.... THAT seems pretty fair to me. In short I DO NOT believe this is a truthful review on Barb's character. As far as the rates go, I was curious about that..(only curious as I AM HAPPY with my dogs at Trademark) I called THREE other boarding kennels in Evansville and they were all $25 per night, so ONCE again this review is not correct Trademark is lower than those. Honestly if Trademark was $25 or even higher.. It would not matter to me... the quality of care, and the attention my dogs receive from Barb is priceless.

Owner jumped all over me. Said the sign was put up for 19 years. Not to mess with her. Then she called back and said if we came in again and opened gate she would burn our house down. I had never been talked to like that. She was so rude not to mess with her and she would burn our house down.I will NEVER RVER take our pups over there again. And suggest no one else doesIf the rates could be lower I would lower it.My husband and I will not take our pups over there again.

A Stephens: Love the way they groom our little guy. He always looks great, but if you leave a message and are waiting for a call back, you may be waiting a really long time. We finally had to go somewhere else after waiting 2 weeks for a call back, and this was not the first time it’s happened to us. The last time we called we told the front desk staff that we had already left multiple messages. They seemed very apathetic. Would have been nice if they offered to walk a few feet to the grooming room and tell the groomers immediately that we had been waiting a long time. No offer to rectify and no responsibility taken. Very disappointed.

Zenobia Cousins Caballero: Absolutely loved this place. My pup suffers from anxiety and she felt so comfortable. She walked right in with the attendant and felt comfortable right away. We’re not local but would definitely frequent Daisy’s if we were.

Deonna Hall: Sophie only stayed for a few hours to get used to the facility. Apparently she really loved it when she got home she was very tired and just laying around. Looking forward to dropping her off on Thursday morning to 4th of August for her week stay.

AC Wade: We have taken our dogs there many times, but recently something has changed. I’ve noticed two of my more high energy dogs not acting right when we pick them up from daycare, but didn’t think too much of it, until this last time they went. One of our babies was continuously throwing up blood and we had to rush her to the emergency vet where she was hospitalized over a couple of nights. The vet diagnosed her with hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and her blood work was “pretty bad” according to the vet. She would have died if we didn’t take her in. The only thing that changed was that she went to Daisy’s that day. Something has not been right the last few times they went there, and now one ended up nearly dying. Something suspicious is going on and we will not be returning.

They said he was fine when he went in, and when I got back I saw him wagging his tail and walking around with other dogs. I was just nervous at first.

J: It was all great till they shut down for 3 mths for renovations & opened up with all new staff & things were different . My dog was in daycare twice a week for over a year & after the reopen & a few questionable occurrences , I asked people I knew that had their dogs there or had , I finally decided to express my concern to mgmt when I found my dog hadn’t eaten from 8a-6p when there. She said he wasn’t hungry. He’s never turned down a meal but whatever . I immediately had a nasty voicemail from the owner without even talking to her. There was miscommunication from mgmt relaying my concern but since she was so nasty I decided to not mess with it & take my dog someplace else. If anything it was the shock of behavior over expressing a concern . Without going into a long story I never leave bad reviews but felt I needed to give people a warning. Don’t assume. I also notice in reviews it’s never the businesses fault .

They give you a tour of the facility and walk you through what your dog's day will be like. When we moved to the area and asked around, this is the one place we heard over and over. Don't hesitate to take your babies here. They are in good hands!!

Melanie Evans: RedWoof took good enough physical care of my lab, even though she often had facial blisters or sores they couldn’t explain. She’s a rough player so I didn’t pay any mind to it. The biggest thing that concerned me was how non-transparent they were compared to their competitors. I was required to bring her for an “assessment” which lasted only a few minutes but I wasn’t offered a tour of where she’d be sleeping or playing or the opportunity to observe the pets who were currently there for boarding or daycare. Moving on, Our lab did daycare a few times and boarded about 4-5 times . In all Of that time spentthey could never show me any proof she was being socialized, even when I asked repeatedly in person and by Facebook messenger for pictures to be posted of her like they always post of other dogs on IG and FB. They all went unanswered, and to top it off, at pick up time no one seemed to know of my messages or have answers to my questions. Most importantly, I never felt reassured at pickup time that the staff had any real knowledge or experience with her and no one could tell me anything specific about her week long stay there. She is a well socialized Lab that is spoiled rotten and I never was made to feel comfortable or given any proof that she was given attention and playtime that I was told they provided even though they post photos of dogs very frequently on Facebook and IG. Most recently I called about getting my new dog set up for boarding & was again told of the need for an assessment , which she said was only available between 10a and 2p Monday- Thursday . I explained that I work and can’t make those times and absolutely no flexibility was offered even though I already had a dog established there. In hindsight I am Disappointed on so many levels and see that we should have taken her elsewhere after the first time. I find it suspect they don’t have the option for reviews or messages available anymore on their Facebook page and I’m sure if they did there would be a lot more reviews similar to mine

Maizey also goes for daycare once a week. She comes home very tired, but also very happy! I feel good knowing she is safe there when we are gone. They have beautiful, well kept grounds for the dogs to have plenty of supervised play time and the whole place is extra clean. Friendly and helpful staff! I have nothing but good things to say about the Red Woof!

When Maziey checked out, she was got a homemade treat for the trip home. We will definitely be boarding Maziey with them again in the future.
