4worldlovers: Buying online is convenient. However, it’s not the same as touching a dozen different yarns, feeling each texture, and seeing all the vivid colors in person. We opened Sheepskeins to keep the in-person experience of shopping for knitting and crochet supplies alive.
Sheepskeins is the home of passionate knitters and crochet artists in Newburgh, IN, and beyond. We have the best customers, the most knowledgeable staff, and the largest selection of yarn in the tri-state area. We are a hub for the local knitting community, and we invite you to join us.
We built our store to be a joyful in-person experience. You can shop, browse, or simply sit, knit, and enjoy the space. We invite you to visit with each other and our staff. Ask us questions, and we’ll share our best advice based on our years of experience.
At Sheepskeins, you can examine hundreds of sample projects for inspiration. When you’re ready to learn more, we host beginner and advanced knitting classes.
"I just visited with a friend because I've driven past it a million times and was dying to see the inside. It is so cute and was worth the time to go! They have an amazing selection, and the employees were very kind, friendly, and willing to help. They said that they offer classes, which sounds like it would be a lot of fun. I went home with several of their clearance items. I'll definitely keep them in mind for future yarn projects."

Kaitlyn Tubbs: I've only been in twice but I am really enjoying this shop. The sale yarn is great. And I'm very interested in their lounge area. I can't wait until I have the time to sit and crochet with other yarn lovers. I know I sound old. I am in fact 25. I am old on the inside and I don't mind.
