Deaconess Home Medical Equipment - North Park: what do users think?
Sarah Wright: Amazingly awesome people there. Great customer service. Very clean environment very warm and welcoming.
Mark Humphrey: debra at the front desk went way out of her way to help meexplained warranty ,how to use the equipment i was very pleased with the service
Haley Owens: I have so many issues with this place. They were supposed to call when my child’s medical equipment was ready (as my child has a chronic medical condition and needs to use this equipment at least twice daily). After a week went by without hearing from them, I went ahead and called. I had to leave a message, and they called me back some time later. There seemed to be a lot of confusion about whether or not they had the correct equipment, but eventually I was told they did have it in stock. When I arrived at the store to pick it up, I noticed the whole place smelled awful. I then proceeded to stand at the counter for several minutes waiting for help. An employee finally yelled at me to have a seat, as it would be a while before they waited on me. Twenty minutes later, I get told to put on a mask (though there were no posted signs indicating this was a necessity). I then explained what I was picking up. They brought out the wrong item. When I told them what I needed, they said they didn’t carry that particular item. Such a frustrating experience all around. I will not return to that location again..
Life is A Dream: Bunch of sad old people wondering around.

Deaconess Home Medical Equipment Office: what do users think?
Scott Schnell: Super kind and helpful!
Jim Adams: Not very friendly. And got a faulty rolator walker, and had to call my insurance and have them call in order to get them to fix the print. And they still really didn't want to.
Jessica Holbrook: Truly awful. They sent CPAP supplies that we did NOT authorize and then had the gall to charge $700+ for them. They billed incorrectly (charged as out of network instead of in network) so they could get more money out of us. We could buy the supplies from a legitimate durable medical goods supplier online without even involving insurance for WAY less than what they charged us. Once we get this taken care of, we will NEVER buy from Deaconess Home Medical again.
BigPoppa Crakahh: My wife is a Covid long haul patient and requires O2 when walking and while sleeping . We were in town for her work when we realized there was an issue with her portable oxygen tank and realized it was missing an o ring. I contacted this branch and they said bring it by and we will take a look at it for you. We did and they replaced the o ring that was missing for us and refused to take any payment for the part or the few minutes it took to fix the issue. Knowing we were from out of town and my wife was a vulnerable person without her oxygen they could have very easily charged us whatever they wanted, but they didn’t.
David Milligan: I was just released from Deaconess this morning after a hip fracture and subsequent total hip replacement.I was told by the hospital social worker Carrie Lane that my at home medical equipment, i.e. bed side commode and shower transfer table would be waiting for me at this location.I arrived at this location (where I was instructed to go) still wearing my hospital gown and attempted to pick up these items as promised. After many searches I told I wasn’t even in the system and as such, my home care equipment was not available to me and I went home without these essential items.I called Miss Lane back to apprise her of what had happened and was told that she had no idea why I wasn’t in the system rather than take accountability for her lapse — no apology given, as it’s always someone else’s fault.I was then told to travel to the North side location to pick these items up and that I would have to pay for them out of pocket because they weren’t covered by my insurance.Turns out both items are in fact covered by my insurance. I was also told by the same social worker that home health care was not covered by my insurance. That was also a lie.Exercise vigilance when dealing with these people as they are not only negligent and inept, but also deceptive and duplicitous.I was an RN for over 25 years and I’m appalled by how poorly I was treated and how I was lied to about my coverages. If you have questions about what insurance coverage, call them directly to be sure rather than take this hospital’s word for it.
Mateo Hawes: Friendly people great staff always take care of me when I go here I recommend them to anybody yes
Anthony Ogden: I worked at Deaconess for almost 10 years. I could not be more ashamed of the service these "professionals" give. they won't tell you if your $2 behind on your payment you're not getting your CPAP supplies. They tell you it can kill you if you don't use it and then ten bucks you don't get your supplies? They don't tell you your 10 bucks behind. They just don't send your supplies. Cowards
CHRISTIAN GOAD: This is the number I was told to contact to disable Auto pay from their website. When I called, I was redirected 3 times. When I finally reached someone, they flat out basically refused to help me, saying they don't take care of that department. While I understand that, the least you could do is redirect me to the right place to take care of this.
google user: Have to have meter for TPN and Saline IV at home and they didn't send electrical hookup Had to put batteries in every 2 to 3 hours all night long because someone didn't do their job If you go to college for a job like this you should use your education Poor business for the patient at home and family that has to take care of patient

Deaconess Home Medical Equipment - Sleep Center West Columbia: what do users think?
Melissa McNabb: The woman at the front desk is clearly not 'in the right seat on the bus.' She was rude and irritated that she had to get the supplies I needed and procure a bill. Not a good look for Deaconess.MBMc
Sarah Dyjak: So far so good. Initial equipment appointment was fine. Ordering by phone has been a breeze (although it takes about a week to receive supplies when I could drive less than 10 minutes to pick up). The one time I picked up supplies in person, I had to wait a while. Office personnel were friendly and helpful.
Jonathan Miller: Went in today, and immediately left. I have never been talked to like the red headed woman working the front desk talked to me today. She is a very angry person, and by the looks of it on all the reviews, Im not the only one that feels this way. They have def lost me as a customer. I will def spread the word to everyone I know about this place. Please look at these reviews and take them into consideration when looking to get your CPAP. Awful Awful Awful!!!!
Anthony Ogden: If you tell somebody they're going to die if they don't use a CPAP machine? Then you don't give them the supplies because they're owed money that you don't tell them? You're absolutely insane and you cannot say your health caregivers. I worked at Deaconess for 10 years. You're absolutely not caregivers. Don't kid yourselves if you're doing that and you know you're corrupt? You should quit. I'm a veteran. 🇺🇸
Jill Kinkade: From the moment I walked in, these people did not want to help me. The front desk person kept trying to find ways they could not serve me. Less than helpful. I would drive to another city before I would ever go back to this place.
Shelleybean Murphy: Sleep Center Medical Supplies. Front Desk Woman is Extremely Rude
T Fisher: You will find that the staff that is up front as a receptionist is often rude, especially when you owe any money at all. If you have any amount of a bill, they will deny you to get your medical equipment, even if you have now met your out of pocket max. Luckily, they have a portal now where you can order all your supplies and not have to deal with the ladies up front. I do want to say that I at least gave it 2 stars and because the respiratory therapist that trained me for my C Pap was very kind and thorough.
