JCPenney: what do users think?
Jodie James: Great sales all the time!
Tina Richardson: Gave 4 stars great place great selection but wow on prices, how can people afford to shop at places like this all the time, who can afford 40-60 dollars for a shirt? I know I can't, not without putting it on a charge card. It would be nice to run some deals.
Charles Graham (Kentucky): I love the selection of men's Big & Tall clothing.
mia wensley: Great place to work and shop
Kelsey Weyer: Lots of kid clothes options, huge Clarence sales, always running g deal and coupons. Can find all your needs from beds, washer dryer, clothes, curtains, nick knacks, hair salons, professional photography.
Ted Miller: Do not buy their belts. They leave them on a truck and they are old and rotten when you buy them. I bought one and it lasted a little over 17 days. The customer service person I talked basically refused to give me my money back. I came back at another time and talked to a different customer service person. It’s a good idea to save your paper receipts; that’s another way they try to get you.
Sheri Gilford: Long line always yet Children Department staff just talking and not assisting customers with check out. Redirecting them to the long line Teens Department. Frustrating.
Nila Hite: Had the best service yesterday.
Lois McInturf: I miss the catalogs from buying my kids clothes to my curtains.
Kip Wilson: Always have loved Penney's.
Chris Shimboff: Lots of nice sales and a fair selection of clothes. The staff didn't really give me the impression that they wanted to be there. The store was filthy! Debris and stuff all over the floors! It doesn't look like anybody had vacuumed or shampooed the carpets in months... really quite disturbing. I guess I wasn't buying clothes off the floor, but still, unpleasant to say the least.
A: Would have purchased more but the girl at the Jewelry counter was like a hawk on me, popping her gum as I asked about something expensive in Your case, she had Zero Interest in doing this.. as I had less expensive things also in my hands, I basically said forget it, I go check out counter, another one of your associates....didn't give me my change bk bc she Shut the register Drawer (thanx) than your Alarm goes off, I go bk into your Store to show her she didn't take the Device off my tennis shoes that weren't in sale with my receipts! Are you kidding me????? I came in there first, hated the vibe so went shopping to cone bk hours later b4 going to my car. Nice!Could someone give me feedback Please!!!!!!!
ProJoe: Good sales nice selection
Sam no: Good quality product & great prices
Nerd Philosopher: I can now understand why this company is struggling. Yesterday I was just in there looking for the rest room, couldn't find it but I decided I'd buy some clothes from the clearance section. 45$ worth of sales they cost themselves that day, plus the future sales since I won't be going back.I go to check out, and I'm interrupted by a different associate named Tom. He tells me that I can save 35% today and 10% going forward with a credit card. I told him I didn't really want one because I didn't want it to hit my credit. He swears up and down that it's a soft touch and won't hurt it.Eventually I agree after his repeated insistence. He takes all my information, address, social, income, etc. which was way more than I felt like giving out to by some clothes, gets me the card, and then he turn to me and says. "I'm sorry, this card can't be used for a discount on clearance items."I was highly upset he lied to me, I wanted to cancel the card. He couldn't do that, I would have to call and cancel. His Manager couldn't either. I left the clothes there as I hadn't paid for them yet, and then did call and cancel the card. I know Tom is probably still gonna get his commission for a sold card, but I want people to understand that this place has no problem pressuring you and lying to you. Nor will they do anything to make it right beyond saying "I'm sorry". You've got to do that part.Tom told me I could use it the next time I came I in. I told him I wouldn't worry about next time since there won't be one.
carla cowan: Good place to shop. Always have good sales
Jay Huebschman: Not enough registers to handle Black Friday business, but the employees were friendly and efficient.
keith stewart: Good
Marty Moore: I needed new makeup and stopped in that department. Mitchell offered assistance and helped me find the right products. He was knowledgeable and charming. Thanks Mitchell!!
Teresa Samsil: They have good products and decent prices, love shopping there.
Stephanie Spangler: Thought I could still enjoy this store😞Called ahead of time to return a couple things...even told when I purchased items, and was told perfectly fine to return items...drove all the way there from out of town only to find out because it had been over sixty days they would not allow me to return...unfortunately did not get names because when I called the Lady was so courteous and it did not seem like it would be a problem...cashier even said she could get the manager to override it, yet when the manager showed up she refused to help...and mind you the return policy is nowhere on the receipts...so it was just an unfortunate turn of events which i felt like could have had some sort of resolution besides me being sent on my way...

Plato's Closet Evansville: what do users think?
Ashley Hunt: Great prices and selections
Julieanna Scott: Not good selling prices even for name brand stuff. Also keep account of the items you have and how many, as they will take your items for themselves , and act like it got lost. I noticed the only accessory I had brought in was taken but not paid for so I went back in and the manager magically "found" it. A pair of shoes are also missing and I'm sure other things I can't recall. Will not be returning.
Ryan david Newcom: They pay decent for your clothes
Virginia Box Ryan: Love this Place They Have Everything!
Colin Sievers: The gals working were all helpful, even one who was still just training. I needed a pair of jeans fast and found just what I needed. After getting home I found out that they were a bit too tight. They were nice enough to let me exchange for a different pair.Very nice place 👍
Jasmine Vonderheide: About a week ago I brought in a large tote and laundry basket full of clothes, most with the tags still on them, some less than 2 months old, and some just from this past fall (with styles that are still in and being sold in boutiques for the current season). Before making the trip to Evansville, I called the store to make sure they were still accepting buys that day and was answered with a very annoyed, yes. Now, I have sold clothes to this location before and left with about a 1/4 of what I came in with for a decent price, so I thought I would try it again. Once I dropped my items off, the look on the employee's face of my totes told me I should have just walked back out and not have wasted my time. Needless to say, I was right. Not only were all of my clothes thrown back into my totes, in clumps, but I was told most of my items were worn, damaged, and out of style. Again, my clothes are less than a year old, as I am actively loosing weight and having to buy new clothes constantly, meaning 90% of the things I have are worn once or never worn. However, their comment on this was not accurate, as they accepted jeans that I bought back in high school (10 years ago mind you) from American Eagle with the old logo in them. Out of style... more like not the style of the particular buyer that night. One experience I had was great, the other experience was terrible and I will not be back because of this.
L Barnett: Dropping off a Lyft customer
Lauryn Watkins: waste of time. better off selling items/clothes on facebook
Shelby Delaunois: I guess brand new black Levi skinny jeans, brand new hunting coat and brand new Boot Barn girl cowboy boots aren't in season this time of year. Ridiculous...
Arcey Gonzalez: Always great finds and a fraction of brand price! Never dissapointed!!
russell dehaven: Great prices on name brand clothes! Good selection for all!
B Smith: Unprofessional and unfriendly staff, with little fashion knowledge. If you're a person of color, don't bother, sell them yourself online.
Heather DeHaven: Very friendly staff and always find something i love.
Randy McDowell: Staff are Rude to say the least.!And if you suspect them of accepting Stolen Rock Revival jeans, Plato's are more than happy to protect the Tweakers Selling the Stolen property and will only work with the Police if there is a Police report.. Knowing that it is Rare for anyone to fill out a police report for a stolen pair of pants a dress, boots etc.. And they Capitalize on that very fact.. But the way in which that girl Flipped script and was Rude AF, after I brought up that I suspect a Tweeker either Tried to sell or Sold a pair of Rock Revival to their store.. So Be Aware..
Ann marie Crow: Good place to get school clothes and not pay full price
Maranda Kneppe: Gave us two different sized shoes as a pair. Paid $70 for them, too. This store is an absolute joke — don’t waste your time. That’s what prompted this review, but just in general, the staff is always rude and mad at the customers, it seems like they only buy Shein anymore, and they refuse to buy any good clothing that you try to sell to them — even if it’s new with tags.
Thea Auguis: I hate Plato’s closet! First of all, this location seemed to never have time for their customers bringing in clothes that are from good brands but they seem to have time to go in the back and hoard all the good clothes such as Lululemon that people have been looking for and making instagram lives whilst not helping buy peoples clothes to speed up the process. Next, they suck at pricing purchases. I brought in some really nice adidas shoes that cost $100+ and we’re in awesome condition but had the audacity to pay $12. I made them hold it so I can get them back. I hate Plato’s and this location don’t waste your time here. Workers really need to work and stop going on ig
David Hart: Don't bother taking your clothes there to be sold. You'll receive a horrible experience with employees that are rude and disrespectful. I was told my 2 medium size totes of name brand school clothes & athletic wear items (some new) would be done in 1-3 hrs and I would receive a text when ready. I killed time in the area & went back 3 hrs later to check because I had to be at work within an hour. I was told they hadn't gotten to them yet and they'd be ready in 45 minutes. I said if you guarantee they'll be ready in 45 minutes then I'll wait. The young girl then said they couldn't guarantee the time and I could take my clothes back with me and bring another time. I didn't take them with me and left for work. It's a good thing I didn't wait around because it took 80 minutes for them to finally text saying my clothes were ready. I went in the following morning and was told there was only (1) piece of clothing they wanted to buy. I knew then the girls from the previous night decided to take the first item on the top to buy and didn't even look at the rest because in the other tote there were (3) additional shirts exactly like the one they wanted to buy. Long story short....I didn't sell them the shirt. I talked to the manager/owner....not really sure because the young employee that waited on me said the owner wasn't there when I asked to speak to the owner. I let the "person in charge" know how I had been treated and suggested she have a meeting with her employees to discuss their behavior and policies. Needless to say....I won't be taking any clothes to Plato's anymore. Be Smart .... Take Your Clothes Somewhere Else ...
Stephanie Townsell: Great stuff even better price
Brooklyn Nicole: the prices are way to high for a reselling store and the employees are really rude i asked them a question and they mocked me and they don’t have a variety of larger shoe sizes so if you are a size 11 and up in womens don’t get your hopes up
Spencer Peaugh: Have a sale now and then.

Lisa Butler: I’ve been trying to support this small locally owned business for years but after today we won’t be returning. Horrible customer service by the older gentleman.

Stephen Britt: Great selection and excellent service

Anna Hubers: We got all of the wedding party’s suits Paul’s and had a great experience! All the suits came in on time and they were all ready long before the wedding. We had a groomsman from St. Louis who was able to send in his measurements and have his suit shipped directly to him. The best part was their customer service! They really are great people!
Curt Anderson: Quality clothing excellent service!!
Corey: 1st rate service! As someone who is 6'5" it can hard to readily find things that fit on short order and Paul's had everything I needed and at a great price!
David Cotton: The people at Paul’s are very knowledgeable, helpful and provide quality clothing at a great price.
Tommy Hartig: Great clothes for the big guy

DXL: what do users think?
Raymond Lynam: Friendly and informative staff.
Delores Johnson: There were no extra-long velvet blazers in the store or online
Jeremy Evans: Great service
Trish Lents: Brought my husband here shopping for wedding attire big and tall on a budget. He was measured and assisted and found exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be back.
Greg Prince: EXCELLENT HELP AND GREAT OPTIONS FOR PURCHASES
Adam Cain: Is it weird that the doors are locked during business hours?
Melissa Baehl: Store was clean and stocked. Salesperson was not very attentive to the 2 customers that were shopping. Besides answering a question she did NOT interact with us at all. This is something I’m not used to from this store She did give us a discount upon checking out which we thanked her for.
Jackson Mccollough: The store was very nice. They had a good selection. Would definitely recommend shopping here
Nathan Hatton: Very knowledgeable staff
John Williams jr: Always friendly. Love this store.
Kevin Brooks: Great staff..very quick to wait on you..huge selection of clothes shoes and jackets
Paula Mae: Amanda was amazing. Knew exactly what my big guy was looking for and what sizes were best for him, also profession, patient, and knows her ‘big n tall’. Left very happy! You have yourself 2 new regulars. Thank you Amanda!
Eric Johnson: Over priced off shore clothing. Eric from Lombard IL
Allison Case: Great service. Nice selection of clothes.
Matthew Daniel: Great friendly service!! A little pricey but like the ole saying you get what you pay for!! Highly recommend for plus size guys!!
Destry Hoffard: Foreign made garbage.
Jack Maxwell: The associate was friendly and helpful. The store was clean and plenty of options to pick from.
Justin Rexing: Business is posted as open 10 a.m. and was there at 11 and no lights on and door locked. I'm a big guy, went across street to Kohls and had everything I was looking for and then some and spent $376.00 there.
Jason Ford: My exact sizes were not available in more than 2 items in the dress clothes. I have been trying to shop there for 6 months or better ? They are blaming blaming in on shipping containers being held up ? I love the products but could only purchase a couple of pieces, I ended up at other stores buying items of less or quality or poor fit. I had to purchase else where after 6 months of waiting ?
Stonespire Games: Door locked on arrival. Waited 35min past the time they were supposed to open per hours listed here and on the door. Finally called customer service when no one answered the number for this location. They contacted regional manager and he advised that someone was supposed to be there already. They apologized for the inconvenience. Not sure how this helps me having driven over 40min to pick up some shorts and a couple t shirts…but whatever.
Dominique: I drove from Kentucky to this store and their doors were locked and no one answered the phone. There isn't a note on the door explaining why they aren't open.

Goodwill - First Avenue Store: what do users think?
Rhonda Jacobs: Meh
lexus Lawson: A blonde woman named , alexis or Lexis was very rude to my family while purchases two pillows and a belt set. *Warning, she will get mad at you if you don’t know how to do her job. *The belts were a set of 3, all connected on one plastic piece as a set, from tjay max. This lady proceeded to charge for each belt on the set of three. Then when we began to question how our total was at 40$ for two pillows(2.99/ea), and a belt set of 3. Her response to a simple question, “I don’t know I’m just doing my job” instead of explaining she charged us for each of the belts, so she called a manager over. She walks over and greets us, and the snotty blonde woman put her sense into the situation by stating, “I guess I’m doing something wrong” waving her hands in the air. Instead of just explaining the situation, or simply ask her boss if she should have charged for each belt on the set. So, I the costumer, had to explain what she had done wrong to her boss, and the lack of professionalism that woman had was astounding. 40$ for two pillows and a belt set ? Even the costumers behind me were confused on how that came to total to that much. I just left the items and decided not to purchase anything. Careful going to this one, the blonde woman “Lexis or alexus” will overcharge you, and blame you for not knowing how to do her job.
Misty “Giggles” Adkins: Lots of great deals
Joshua Franzen: Not pizza hut
joe wisniewski: Smaller than other Goodwills
Marlene Snyder: Awful. Upper staff was in the back laughing and carrying on while older cashiers had long lines and talked about out every single item someone was purchasing. I about threw my stuff down and walked out. Worst ever.
Dawn Davis: Prices are way to high for stuff that is given/donated to you, and they will not come down on prices if asked. You guys need to think and help all around, and stop asking for donation at the cash register when I pay for my items I am donating because the stuff I am paying for you guys received for FREE and are charging way too much for.....
Eve Albright: Not very big... One lady that checked me out was very loud, I am Deaf/HOH an have a service dog with me 24/7 an the lady very loudly saying adorable baby and was hoping to pet my service dog... My dog alerted me, and I was forced to walk away. I have 3 identifications that service dog, I think people need too understand that it's working dog an to not speak to dog as if owner not even there and you found stray in parking lot. Was very rude not in good spot. Small area to shop not BIG store.
Seth Conder: Great deals got an amazing St. Louis Hoodie for $2.79.
Maranda Kneppe: Had to watch and listen as the checkout employee told another customer’s child “don’t be r*tarded,” in front of us and two other customers in line. Absolutely disgusting. We are regular customers at this location. We will not be back. Management was informed of the situation and I hope they took proper action against this employee.
Sara Friede: Lots of $2 shirts. Friendly staff, clean dressing rooms. Good music. Bathroom to wash hands. Parking. Many sizes.
Jeremy “Jdogg Mainrod” Maynard: I really enjoy myself at each of the 3 stores, great staff , you never know what treasure is around the corner.
Gina Britt: Very nice staff, great items.
Stasia Meneilly: Clean, efficent teamwork a bit pricey
Cherron Roberts: I love Goodwill!! I could stay in there all day and all night! Thinking about working there 1 or 2 days a week even! The people always make me feel like I'm at my 2nd home when they see me, like true friends! The only thing I don't like is how high the prices are for donated things, but it gets put back in the community so it's ok! Keep doing a great job guys!
Kathy: Good thrift store to shop in, clean and organized. OK prices
J.A.: Dropping many things off and the guys at receiving are very courteous and helpful.
James Hinton: Wide variety, very friendly and curious staff
Mary Adams: The prices at Goodwill are rising to the stupid level for a thrift shop.
Arielle Venetia: Friendly, real kind caring staff. Found some CUTE BIG GIRL CLOTHES! 😍💕 will be returning next time I drive through.
Molly Fahrlander: A hit or a miss as far as Goodwill locations go. Probably the second best location in town. #1 Being the west side location

St. Vincent de Paul Society Thrift Store: what do users think?
Jason Deon: It was one of the better thrift non-profit shops I've been in!
Lorna B: I happened upon this store & went in. Love it! Neatly arranged & terrific prices.
Frank Underwood: I've donated many items to this thrift store in the past, but never again. I changed from Goodwill to St. Vincent de Paul when Goodwill became a for-profit organization, but I'll take a for-profit over this group. I tried to donate several household items, none of which were junk, but was unable to do so because the individual working the donation site refused them. These included a heavy-duty plastic shelf storage system, which he refused to take because it wasn't assembled (though all components were present). He initially declined another shelf system because it had some dust on it. I completely understand refusing to accept items that are broken or worn-out, but that was not the case with these items. In addition, he was rude and entitled. I will not donate anything ever again to St. Vincent de Paul, and encourage everyone to adopt a similar view. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
Coconut Island: Absolutely love this place nice tons of items I get good deals here staff that use to work here had additudes I'm glad there are new sweet employees here Sarah is sweet the cashier and this place is wonderful would recommend to anyone
Seth Delaney: Doors were locked before actually business closing hours and rude experience with an employee.
Eric Weaver: Love this thrift store. It’s huge! Some prices are a little up there but overall an awesome thrift store.
Sue B: There is always a very friendly and helpful drop off person there to help.
mike scheller: Great place to donate, and they use their funding wisely. The staff is really caring and awesome. Keeping it local!
sarah h: Absolutely love this place! A bit of chaos but good finds
Paige Renshaw: This place is amazing! They always have sales running everyday of the week and the staff are mostly super nice people!
Sarah Hartman: Fair selection of items at reasonable prices. Items include furniture, clothes, and household items. Store cleanliness was a bit of a let down. But was able to find a few items.
Mary File: Got a lot of stuff and was surprised to see that at the end of the bill they took half off my purchase great had some money to get other stuff LOL ❣️
Craig Jordan: Donation truck scheduling has been unreliable, been stood up twice now two different days after taking those days off from work to be home for truck to arrive. Trying to donate fairly nice items due to house has sold and have a deadline to be out by.Guess I'll try Habitat for Humanity's Restore location and see if they want to come pickup some nice gently used furniture.Wish Goodwill still did pickups.
Danielle Masterson: The items are not always in the right size section but I got a lot of baby clothes for very little $. Better variety than some thrift shops.
Easter Treadwell: When you seen one thrift store you seen them all but St Vincent display their product very well
Alisshia Allen: Well organized and helpful staff
Ed: 1/2 off everything in the store
Jessica Holbrook: I have many fond memories of this store as I've been going here since I was a little kid and it's just as great now as it was back then. They have fantastic pricing and tons of items in stock. The store is mostly clothing but has a good selection of housewares, furniture, decor, books, vinyl records, etc. The cashiers are friendly. If you have time to search, you can find some great hidden treasures here. I've found lots of vintage clothing here and since they price by the item type (for example, all jeans are $5, etc), you don't have to worry about price gouging like some stores.
William Bratcher: St Vincent de Paul thrift store prices their furniture and dressers and kitchen tables w/chairs way to high. Its supposed to be a thrift store not a sears.. Paying $180 for a 6 drawer dresser thats scaratched up n has a few childrens stickers on it is ridiculous..
Jennifer Rincon: Always find a treasure
Bruce Thomas: Price to high to be a thrift store
