Brice's ATA Martial Arts: what do users think?
Donna Boling: It was good, instructors was great, a bit crowded wish you still had both locations
Larry A: Mr. G, Master Brice, Mrs. Moreland, and Mr. Rine are top notch instructors. I walked into this place having visited every single martial arts facility in the city and none felt like home--until I walked into Brice's ATA Martial Arts. I've been here ever since and have found a passion and dedication that I didn't know I possessed. The staff will never know what they mean to me or how they were the backbone in my healing journey following the end of a long-term relationship. They helped me find ME again. I'll be eternally grateful.
Mike Maurer: Avoid their tournaments !!!!! This last weekend we spent hundreds of dollars and traveled five hours to attend their tournament. When we got there we were told my 8 year old son was only going to get one match. Not a tournament. They clearly didn’t care about my son or fulfilling the tournament that we paid for.
Tyler Dixon: Fantastic and knowledgeable instructors. They teach all ages. The new facility is much larger and looks great.
Doug Walton: Brice’s ATA has been a great blessing to our son and every kid that attends this school. Beth Moreland and Kevin Rine take a sincere interest in each student. They mold rowdy little kids into responsible, respectful, confident and skilled youths. What they teach at that academy serves their students’ physical, emotional, intellectual and interpersonal growth and the students carry those attributes throughout their daily lives. I cannot speak high enough praise for this school and its instructors.
Gene Wright: Great experience and very nice staff
Scott Owen: My son and daughter love it!
Beverly Galloway: I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of time I got to chat with Mrs. Brice. She is definitely a people person and is a great leader. We were greeted right away and the new COVID19 rules were explained. We arrived early and everything seemed to run smoothly and like clockwork. When it was time to start my son's trial class, he was able to get into it right away. The environment was clean and sterile but also warm and inviting. There are mantras on the walls that the kids learn as part of their training and they make the place look even more professional. The quality I have determined as of yet is great! You get a lot of knowledge and the complete Gi for your money! The equipment is ATA quality and sold right inside. I was glad to sign my son up to learn here and am excited to see how he grows under her leadership. I am proud to call Brice's ATA my son's karate class home.
Dalton Petersen: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,ValueHello I am a kid that is a Blue belt that goes here this is a very good place if you want to learn Karate.
Shelby Scott: I have been training here since I was 5 years old. Brices ATA has boosted my confidence, taught me not only self defense, but life skills. Brices ATA taught me how to apply these life skills to my school life, and everyday life. I am now a 4th degree black belt, and have been training here since 2004, as a tiny tiger, through the Karate for Kids program and now the teen adult, and even Krav Maga classes. I have won multiple state title and World titles through their training and mentoring of Chief Master Brice and other instructors. They’re are programs for every age here from 3 years old and up. Their staff specializes in helping with all forms of disabilities; whether that be physical, or mental (ADHD, ADD, etc). Not only will you better yourself, but you will be welcomed by a loving family that is Brices ATA Martial Arts.
Kristen Totten: Derek made red belt here after 2 years of hard work. He was burnt out and hadn't really taken much breaks so we decided he should take the summer off after 2 yrs. He'd certainly earned it. When we told the facility he needed a break, they asked Derek if he was a quitter and made him actively feel bad for the burn out. Derek has never wanted to return. At least he is a red belt now but I feel bad he's so resentful of the experience.
james cox: Congratulations Master Brice!I'll always treasure my experience learning from you cheryl and Bob WeekleyIt was amazing and fun and I know my kid sister Jennifer Romero loved learning from you as well.BestWishesSincerelyJames Alan Cox
Jess Williams: Fantastic place to learn Martial arts. Will teach you weather you are 5 or 95. Staff is very knowledgeable and absolutely love going there Master Brice is a fantastic teacher and is great with people. I highly recommend it if you are interested in learning. Cannot say enough good things about them.
Greg Mellinger: My two grandsons transfered to Brice's a few months back after the academy they were attending shut down. Both boys are very, very happy to be studying under Chief Master Brice and her highly qualified staff of instructors. If you want to learn the Arts this is the place to go.
Elaine Weiman: My granddaughter has been training at Brice's ATA Martial Arts for over 9 years. This is a great place to bring your family to train in martial arts! Since she began training at Brice's, my granddaughter has improved her confidence, discipline and respect. She is a leader at school and has maintained an A Honor status. If your looking for great family fun and fitness this is the place to be!

Brice's ATA Martial Arts: what do users think?
April Shoulders: Our children have both achieved the rank of black belt thanks to their dedicated instructors. Mrs. Moreland and Master Kevin Rine have worked hard with our children, pushing them to achieve this impressive goal. We have a great deal of respect for both of them and appreciate the hard work that they consistently provide to the program. Our son has been attending class here for five years and our daughter for two years.
Kristen Totten: I really like this program when it's used properly. After over 2 yrs straight of karate, our son was burnt out and needed a break. We said he could take a break and come back later and they ended up trying to bully us into staying despite the fact that i hadn't seen him put forth effort in months. He's close to his black belt but black belts mean nothing when aquired through force and manipulation. She asked him if he was a quiter and immediately he felt like he needed to stay to make her happy. My husband got the same pressure when he went in to say he wouldn't be promoting. Because of this, he didn't even get to say goodbye and now he doesnt want to go back at all. Nothing wrong with being a red belt but he spent a lot of time with all these people to get shunned over wanting a break. He's only 9.
zach raskie: Brice may be an accomplished martial artist, but she absolutely cannot run a business to save her rear end. She is consistently late to her own classes, cannot track payments, and answers the phone while in her classes. The only reason for 2 stars is because the staff other than Brice is great, but Brice is a bit of a control freak, so she doesn’t allow them to teach a full class without butting in after getting off the phone and teaching the opposite of what the other instructors just taught. Classes regularly start late, and we pay for a 45 minute class that is 30 minutes of instruction and practice and 15 minutes of Brice stopping class to tell the students about how their parents need to sign them up for costly tournaments or pay a rediculous amount, $60, to get a different colored belt in order to move to a more advanced class. Oh, and you sign up for a 6 month commitment at $100/child/month.One night in January she arrived to a class late to find out what everyone else already was dealing with- the heat had went out and she didn’t find out until we were already 10 min into class. My family will never take classes here again after our 6 months is up, and likely will never do martial arts again.
