Deaconess Cross Pointe Outpatient Services: what do users think?
Charissa O'Daniel: Went here recently for an evaluation for a loved one. The “social worker” who spoke with us was uncaring and lacked any compassion. She had a button on her shirt that said “I left my cats for this.” Completely inappropriate for someone whose role should be to have compassion and help people seeking mental care. I would never send anyone I cared about here. What a waste and complete disappointment. I wish zero stars were an option.
Whitney Pike: Good luck if Dr. Radnovich is your psychiatrist. You will wait an hour to see him every visit. Does not matter if it’s 10am or 3pm he is ALWAYS at least one hour behind schedule. Don’t bother calling the practice manager. She will not call you back!
MaddieFossett: Took them 45 minutes to even call me back to see the psychiatrist and I was being threatened in the waiting room the entire time by another patient
Donna Stevens: My psychiatrist is awesome. Finally, a doctor got my meds right, and I'm doing so much better. Dr. Rhoton is great!
Dannette Huffman: Very good people
Lori Adams: We had to wait three months for a new patient appointment for therapy for my daughter to be told that the soonest follow-up therapy appointment they could provide would be four months away.
Chris Bunch: I see Laura and she had been a world of help..I would definitely recommend..thank you deaconess cross point.
Tracy Fritts: They are very helpful
Taylor Maye: Pam Peppers medicating knowledge saved my little girl. Brought the life back to my 16 year old. I will forever be thankful. However I think on the therapy part they can definitely improve. Appointments 6/8 weeks apart. Last hour appointment only lasted 23 minutes for my 16 yr old.
Cori: Judy was THE WORST. Belittled my eating disorder and said it wasn’t important to talk about my childhood because it’s focusing on the past too much. Her attitude was hurtful
Michelle Lyn: Terrible service! Had referral sent to them from my surgeon, I then called them abs they told me I was in line for an appointment. Several calls and nearly two months later my surgeons office calls to tell me they don’t actually provide the service is needed. So rather than call me and inform me of this, the simply ignored me abs set my surgery back by MONTHS!!! Do not use this facility if you’re looking for a legitimate health care facility.
Julie F: Fantastic, knowledgeable patient care. Their PHP program is life-changing, and the medication providers are great. Medication management can be a difficult process, and finding a knowledgeable, attentive provider is key.
Gary Doolittle: They helped me in my time of need
Mike Mammoser: A true lack of compassion and empathy from the staff. Would not recommend.
T Fisher: Dr. Rhoton is the real deal and accepts Medicaid Traditional. Fast and friendly service. Front desk is awesome and is good about telling how long the wait is which is generally close to on time. Nurse is also nice.
Slim Bo: Great Service & Very nice folks
Jim Deans: Great service provider
Ashleigh M: Made an appointment like 4 months in advance and then they called me to tell me the doctor I was scheduled to see would be out of the office and that the next soonest "new patient appointment" was 8 months away and that they could put me on a waiting list. Glad to know that not even mental health care professionals seem to care about mental health.Don't think I need to say it but I asked to be taken off of their new patient list.
Jeffrey Orth: Good healing place
Taylor Hoehn: Great Services!!

Deaconess Cross Pointe Inpatient Services: what do users think?
maddy: good food
Ellie Carti: I was abused at my visit.
Emily Ivie: I've been going here for about a year now after seeing Dr Silva since the 4th grade they did a evaluation done on me and I was able to see a doctor the very next day a emergency appointment at that I could not that Ms Sherrie wallings more for saving my life and finally got me on the meds that worked best for my body what people do not understand is sometimes it takes a couple goes at the right meds but know deconess cross pointe inpatient and outpatient are the very very best around they will work with you untill you have the right meds that suite what works best for you I see all these crazy bad comments please do not listen to them these people saved my life my marriage my everything!!! Thanks deconess cross pointe!!!!!
Julia Emsweller (Binguss): Okay I guess. I went there twice and the second time was worse. This place is getting worse and worse by day, I don't recommend this for any LGBT+ or anyone that is the slightest bit sensitive. No one did anything about a patient who pretty much ABUSED me.
Cindy Phelps: Thisplace should be SHUT DOWN.
Zebulon Hardin: The private investment group that owns Deaconess Crosspoint is not interested in treating people with addiction & mental health problems. As a matter of fact, Deaconess Crosspoint advertises for Tropicana casino because the private investors that own Deaconess Crosspoint are hedging their bets against people with addiction & mental health problems by allowing multiple decks of Tropicana playing cards to be on their units. Deaconess Crosspoint makes it a point to place Tropicana playing cards in the hands of people with addiction & mental health problems for a reason. I brought this issue to the attention of the staff and nothing was done about it, the Tropicana playing cards remained on the unit in spite of my complaint. It was made very clear to me that the private investors that own Deaconess Crosspoint are only interested in making money. It is very clear by the behavior of Deaconess Crosspoint that they definitely have special interest investments in Tropicana casino. During my time in this facility I never heard anything about treating gambling addiction, which tells me all I need to know about the politics of the corrupt big money investors that own Deaconess Crosspoint. Shame on you Deaconess Crosspoint for hedging your bets against people with addiction & mental health problems in the name of profit.
mel frank: This is a criminal organization. They truly don’t care about patient safety. Once they’re done robbing your insurance they will falsify documentation in order to release mentally ill people regardless of what the patient is threatening. Then when the patient follows through on their threats Crosspointe could care less.
Ruby Dooby Doo: Food? Amazing.Staff? Amazing.Need extra blankets? Here you go.Informative groups? Yes.Kinda cold? Also yes.Respectful to trans & LGBTQ+? YES!Tons of books/puzzles/games? Yup.I loved my time here and saw major improvement in myself. I wasn’t expecting it to be so helpful but it was. 10/10 would recommend (A LOT BETTER THAN OPTIONS IN INDY)Special thanks:RN-Joey, Whitney, Katrina, Travis, SeAnnaMHT-Callie, both Taylors, Sara, Melissa, Diana, Regina, Grace, & Emily*Every AT Person was great, Julia is my favorite*
Ruby Sacara: Amazing place for children, they took a while to get my child ready for life again
Gillian: I went here in janurary of 2021 and it still stands up to be the best hospital I’ve visited. I was in the Teens unit, so I don’t know how other units are but in my experience it was amazing. Amazing food, Naps at about noon, comfort stuffed animals are allowed(not sure if they’re still allowed due to covid), there all kind of nice nurses who are available to talk through a panic attack/breakdown with you :) they have multiple therapy groups a day, stress balls, accessible ice to chew on, etc. I have been to Bloomington meadows, Deaconess Cross Pointe, and St Vincent’s accession stress center, and out of all this would be my #1.
Crystal: DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE FOR YOUR CHILD'S MENTAL NEEDS! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!! My son has had suicidal thoughts and has been violent with siblings and peers and they turned him away when he asked for help! He is 11!!! This is the second time they have turned him away. He is doing their "safety plan" and it is not effective.
Melisa Barrera: My husband was in Cross Pointe for week and came home worse. They didn't do anything but give him drugs that make him sleep. Didn't help him at all. He should not have been released. Weren't kind or helpful for the family either. Our first experiences were great. I don't know if they changed the staff or what happened, but it needs an overhaul again. Can I put a negative star for this time?
Jomama: it was ok, i loved the people i met there and a few of the staff, but there were REALLY mean staff members
Jason Midkiff: Great safe respecting place to come for help! Everyone is really cool and nice. Great day classes to gain real world coping skills! I would refer anyone here to Deaconess Cross Pointe
Roberta H: Dont take anyone you love to this facility. It's all a money scam. Medication management is all you're going get out of your stay. 15 days $42,000! The doctor said come get her, theres nothing else we can do for her.
haleigh ricketts: This place takes care of the kids nicely. The food is nice and the staff are kind with tough-love. Recommend going here
Diana Feinberg: No smoking! They had nicotine patches. It was cold all the time, I met people I connected with and the food was great, however, there was an incident when I didnt feel safe and the night staff watched the cameras and pretended they didnt know what was going on when I came out of the room, they also didnt tell first shift about it.Then they moved me to addiction unit when I was there for depression, but the girl who threatened me was an addict in the depression unit for suicide attempt. Most of the time they only wanted to hear about the reason I was there they didnt care about any background info or reasons behind anything about my past, only one person cared enough to delve in and it was the day b4 I left so I didnt get far into it but he did open my eyes to some interesting things. It was helpful at the time but didnt seem to help much after I left because inpatient gets u away from reality and doesn't help much with facing it and getting through with your head held high. I would recommend to others though.
Marissa Barrett: This place sucks
Salenah Bellinger: I felt comfortable there. I loved having a roommate. Being there actually made me feel comfortable. I just missed my family a lot.
Christina Williams: This place really helped me out. I went in there feeling so depressed and worthless and they helped me get on the right medicine I needed as well as let me talk to so many people that helped me I made some good new friends in there who understood my depression and didn’t just look at me like they didn’t understand it was just amazing to actually have people who understood what was going on with you with out judging you. The rooms was cold at night I will say that and the beds was a little hard but over all it helped and that’s what I went there to do was get help. They let me go after about a week with the medicine I needed to help me I am not fully better but it is a major start and for that I thank you.
Joni Appler: This is not a place you can get better at. Some of the people that work there are monsters and want you to fail. This place is traumatizing, evil, and pure hell. If you really care about your family you won't send them here.

Evansville Psychiatric Associates: what do users think?
Brittany Crane: I have been seeing an amazing Therapist with this company since 2020. Loved working with her. But you better come prepared every appointment to pay whatever your insurance does not cover. If you can’t, they are not flexible and can be very condescending. I signed and agreed to a payment plan but they did not accept the amount I was able to pay. Cara in billing contacted me once in 2022 and then a year later when they were ready to serve me a 30 day notice. She never had the decency to speak to me face to face and explain that the payment plan I agreed to was only for 1 charge. She over emphasized that she “worked with me” to bring my bill down, which she did not. What she DID do was belittle what I could pay and sent me a list of places that are more on my level. They served me notice and told me I cannot speak to my team anymore, not just while I’m working to pay down my bill, but in general. Can’t come back to the facility. How is that working with me? On top of this, they are charging me a $75 no show fee that I can prove I was in attendance for. I have screen shots of the 3 times I signed onto the virtual meeting. The Doctor didn’t show up on time, or within a reasonable time frame, so I left. BUT BECAUSE I DIDN’T WAIT THREE MORE MINUTES…it’s considered a no-show. Their charges are very high and they need to train their office staff on how to communicate with others. I strongly recommend that they evaluate their financial and billing practices so people can actually afford their services. My appointment charges were higher than my car payment. Also, don’t let them say they write off their no show fees. If you owe them money, that fee stays, regardless of your situation. After reading the reviews I can see I am not the only one having these problems. EPA- do better.
Jerry Arnett: A grate place for young people to go to get stuff off their minds that don't talk to their parents. Most insurance companies will give you 5 free visits but you need the E.I.P. code sent to either you yourself, but it has to be something the Evansville Psychiatric Associates can download. This is difficult because of patient confidentiality! So the insurance company has to receive something from the insurance carrier! The staff here when you tell them the insurance company gave you An E.I.P. no# complain that they cannot and won't take the E.I.P no# itself unless it's on stationary from the insurance company! However because of Patient confidentiality Insurance Companies do not send out certain codes because of that Confidentiality, & the staff does get upset if you can't provide them with the stationary they Want!
Cosmic C-Stellar: Very poor service. They will hook you on extremely addictive medications and not even refill them on time. Dr. Bambeneck is rude, condescending, and will not even acknowledge your gender or your love interests if he doesn’t agree with them.
Mari Roy: Constantly running late on appointments. My last visit I had to wait about an hour from when my time was originally scheduled. They let a woman who was late for her appointment go before me. When going to the front desk to find out why I was skipped a woman Samantha tried to say that the woman was not late even though the lady had said she was. Samantha was very rude and condescending. Looks like I’ll be looking for a new doctor.
Shannon Winkler: I really like Cindy Ledbetter. I followed her from Crosspoint to EPA I liked her that much.
Aerial DeVillez: We see 3 different doctors in this office for my two children with ADHD. Scott, Deanna, and Dr B. All three are AMAZING!! Since covid I will sit in my car with my youngest child so he isn't running around the waiting room for the hour long therapy session and both Scott and Deanna will bring my kids outside if I don't notice them walking out of the office to meet them at the front door. As a mom with kids that is such a sweet thing for them to do that is not requirement at all. The office staff will try and sync up the appointments if they can so both kids have same appointments and I'm not waiting multiple days for an hour for each and they are always quick to answer and questions I have in person. Calling is a bit harder to get ahold of someone but that is understandable because they are a busy office.
Don Kirkwood: I'm being generous with one star only because of ONE PERSON there. One of the therapists Erin was great! However besides her everyone else are condescending, rude and uncaring! They completely disregarded my wife. Couldn't be bothered to tell her that the Doctor was running over a half hour late. The office manager even rather rudely informed me "waiting that long wasn't to be unexpected" when I asked her WHY someone couldn't take 2 minutes to inform my wife she refused to answer and rambled on about how wonderful her staff was and how EVERYONE loved them! When I asked her about the bad reviews they had? She snorted and said none of them were even patients.Okay....... well wife and I were and she's an uncaring, unprofessional person. Please look elsewhere if you really want helpWish there was a way to report or file a complaint against them
Debra Beasley: I have been going here for chronic pain and the depression that follows--Dr. Ahmed is wonderful and my sister saw Dr. Holighter and loved him.
Ashlee Cox: The provider I see here is great, but other than that, I probably will not return. The staff has absolutely harassed me and threatened to drop me as a patient if I do not make an appointment, even though I am not actively on any medication. Supposedly they have sent "several messages" in my portal (I only counted one), called me repeatedly, and even began sending aggressive texts to my phone. I have never experienced an office who hunts down patients like this and says that I HAVE to be seen or be forced to make an appointment. Just really weird experience overall.
Stephanie: Great staffVery professional
Brooke Flannagan: I want to say that I love the providers I see for appointments here. They are some of the best I’ve ever had. However, the customer service/receptionists are the worst I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve been coming here for 6 years, and from day 1 it is a fight just to get an appointment scheduled, to talk to a provider, or for them to receive important documents (even after they have been submitted several times). I’ve had appointments scheduled that ended up being completely unnecessary due to lack of communication in the office, which I of course have to pay for. I recently had to cancel an appointment the day before due to a work emergency. The second time in 6 years I had to miss an appointment, they automatically charged me $75. I had to book my next appointment 2 months out with the receptionist, which I don’t understand because I always book every 2 weeks with my provider. If my insurance was accepted elsewhere, I would transfer my services.
Carli Giles-Davis: Never in my life have I dealt with such rude people! How hard is it to get my own personal records for my lawyer? Why do I have to get an attitude and push back on my own records?!? The only person that I would recommend from this office is my own doctor, Dr. Ahmed. But the receptionist, the nurses, all the other staff are completely unprofessional and very rude.
Kristen Harris: Extremely unprofessional and unorganized. We had a family emergency and called to cancel the appointment. We canceled asap due to something we could not prevent and we were charged $75 for a no show appointment even though the appointment was canceled very early that Monday morning for that evening appointment. I was not told I would be charged for the appointment (at the time I didn't even think about asking because of everything else going on that day) but I was then told by the billing staff that it is my responsibility to know the patient requirements and be aware of that rule. They received 12 hours notice but since it wasn't 24 hours notice during the weekend I was charged full price for the appointment. Again, for a family situation I was not aware was going to happen and something I could not prevent. I was informed I could've left a message Sunday on their answering machine, but it would've been received by the front office actually later than when I called the after hours line to cancel lol. I also had to call 3 different lines to even speak to someone to ask about the bill I received because it was marked a no show and it had been canceled so I was confused as to why. As some of the reviews state, it is nearly impossible to get a hold of someone quickly and even if you do, they have to transfer you, it is a 3rd party or you have to call back and use an extension they give you. My son really liked the therapist but unfortunately other staff members and their "rules" are ridiculous and rude so we will not be going back which sucks for my son and his therapist to have such a bad reputation hanging over her head. When I informed the billing staff to cancel my future appointments as we wouldn't be back, she was snide and immediately placed the blame on me without trying to make it right or offer another solution. I wish I had listened to the reviews that I read prior to the appointment because they turned out to be accurate and I would've saved ourselves some time and money and went somewhere with better reviews and a better reputation. Do yourself a favor and go to a therapist office that actually cares... that is what we are going to do now! Life happens and if a mental health therapist doesn't understand that, then they aren't in the right profession! This definitely isn't a stress free, easy to navigate company which is not good for mental health issues. So instead of being kind hearted and understanding, they decided to be strict with their "rule", unprofessional and rude over $75 and lost a patient because of it and received an honest, bad review which clearly shows how little they care about their patients.
Daniel Gunselman: I find the staff very helpful. the nursing staff has always got back with me. my appointments were usually always on time. The doctors and the therapist I have seen have been a great help.I would highly recommend their practice!
Daniel and Katie Hatt: I work at a Psychologist office and was referred here by one of my psychologist. When I called to get an apt the lady was the rudest person I ever talked to. Her first question was do you have insurance, when I replied no I will be paying out of pocket. She starkly said don’t your employee offer Insurance? I answered yes they do but I’ve opted out. She then proceeded to tell me if I can’t afford insurance then she recommended that I seek services elsewhere!! She assumed I couldn’t afford to pay them, who says that to someone in crisis. I most certainly can afford to pay which is why I opt to pay out of pocket. I told my office my experience with their nurse and we collectively agreed to never recommend their office again!!! Very unprofessional and very rude, you can’t treat people like that especially in the mental health field!!
sam: This place has been awful beyond words. I went one time and paid my copay. Within 10 minutes, Dr. Ahmed told me he couldn’t help me. He called me hopeless and an empty shell of a human. I cried, left, and never returned. I eventually forgot about it until recently when I got a collections notice in the mail saying I have missed many copays and prescription fees. I called the number to dispute. I was told the system shows I paid my ONLY copay and all of the charges were a computer error. I was then transferred to a different customer service rep who worked in the office and was impossible to work with. She had no intent to help make anything right. She hung up mid conversation and still has not helped in any way. This place, supposed to be run by mental health professionals, has done nothing but cause me anxiety and emotional distress. All because of one visit. For your own good, please stay away. If you are looking for a reliable, professional office, look elsewhere.
Andrew werner: Trying to get online to become a new patient and it says the site isn't secure and that attackers can steal my sensitive information like passwords, credit cards, etc. They don't answer my phone calls either.
Atiat Alsaaideh: Terrible service… please save yourself from crazy bills that will chase you for a poor service. My insurance paid the cost and I still receive bills from a collection agency on their behalf for a one time visit on 2019.
Robin Sluder: All staff are great! Have no complaints at all! Great doctors and great therapists! Would recommend to anyone!
demurral8556: Be very careful! Staff are extremely unhelpful and will hold your needed medication hostage!
Shaina Bradley: I have been a patient for the past year. In regards to my providers, I have the best providers I have found. If I could do separate ratings, I would give my therapist, provider, medication management staff all 5 stars. The reception staff and office phone set up, billing, system, I would give 1. I am a mental health professional, and it should NOT be that difficult for ANYONE to call in, request appointment changes, etc. and to be talked to like they are not heard. Very disrespectful.I travel over an hour to go to my appointments and I live in another time zone. I am an hour ahead of Evansville, so I am systematically always ensuring my appointment time to arrive on time. If I do not, I call to let my therapist know; BUT I cannot let her know myself. I do not mind the drive because my providers care about their job and what they do. The office is easily located, but getting ahold of anyone in the office is impossible and a joke. If someone called into the office in crisis, you should talk to them with respect and treat them like a human, not like a robot with no empathy, emotions, or consideration for what that individual is going through. I understand you have a business to operate and run, but if your staff cannot talk to individuals like the human beings they are, then they should absolutely NOT be working in a mental health office. If you need to call and speak with someone immediately, you will not be able to. The phone line to call takes 58 seconds until it gets to the prompts of whom you need to reach (nursing, receptionists, make appt, refill medication, etc.), but you will not speak to anyone. You will have to leave a voicemail and await for their call to return; and it is the same person returning your call no matter what. Medication? Appointment? Emergency? Same person. Every time. I know this, because I have documented every time I have had to call in for the last 6 months. My frustration is that when I call, I am very detailed on voicemails or the rare times I do get a receptionist to answer. I provide my information clearly, slowly, and as needed (as mentioned, I work in the Mental Health profession myself, so I get it; I know it can be busy or frustrating), but the receptionist does not listen to anything I say. It seems that she responds from a prompt, script, like a robot. It really deters people away when they are not treated with respect, the basic respect of being a human being. As mentioned, I called today to reschedule my appointment. The receptionist tried to say I would have to pay a late fee to cancel because it was less than 24 hours before my appointment. My appointment was scheduled for tomorrow at 9 A.M. I called at 8:50 A.M., and nobody returned my call or answered the phone. Once I did get a return, she said I would have to pay a late cancel because it was 9:03. If you are working, running, or own a profession for mental health services, it should be a NO BRAINER that receptionists staff must treat people with decency and respect; talk to them like a human, not a robot.I would have left the practice already if my therapist, and other providers were not so great. If there is an emergency, there should be a way that I can PERSONALLY notify my therapist, I do not want the message relayed. As the message relayed has never been correct. Please do something about this. Being a mental health professional, we must take our jobs, roles, and our work important. It makes me frustrated to no end to have to reschedule an appointment, request medication, or call the office, because you will not get through. It takes 30 minutes to complete what should take less 5 minutes on the phone.

Luzio & Associates Behavioral Services: what do users think?
Larry R: Inefficient staff, constantly overbook unable to get an appointment in a timely manner
Joseph Whitledge: They are way over booked. Canceled 4 of 6 appointments for my child. They rescheduled at almost 2 months out. I wouldn't have waisted her time if I had known. If you feel like no one listens to you and that no one cares about you, this probably isn't the best place. I think they would affirm your feelings.
Jennifer Racey: Not very helpful. Took too long to get my son an appointment and after around 6 months he still never saw the actual doctor just the social worker.
Cheryl Price: Friendly stAff but a very busy place.
