He was willing to meet same-day, was very professional and knowledgeable, and he had a can-do attitude. Anyone would be in good hands with him!

Corrie Riedl: Fantastic experience. My husband and I hired Terry to DJ for our wedding in southern Indiana. He was extremely communicative prior to the event, which always put my wedding planning nerves at ease. He was extremely flexible and was able to accommodate a separate ceremony setup to include live keyboard music and vocals during the ceremony, in addition to his impressive reception sound system. He was able to read the room incredibly well during the reception and kept the dance floor packed all night by giving the people what they wanted and leaning into requests. We had a perfect wedding day and it was in no small part due to Terry!
Owen Schaad: Refused to own up to their mistakes and mispronounced our names wrong when we told him how to say it 10 minutes before. lied about where our projector was gonna be setup at eventually then got unplugged by a guest and he wouldn’t plug it back then because he said a guest unplugged it when we paid extra for it, didn’t play our walk in song to reception only played a select few from our playlist of songs. Didn’t announce dinner. Being 18 years old and just married, my money could’ve went to way much better things. And the guy was very rude to my pregnant wife and not once said sorry at the least. paying close to $2000.Don’t waste your money on this company. Never thought hiring a dj could have so many problem. Not much that we asked for, it was all on paper, we only asked you do your job that we paid you to do on our special day!
Michaela Gogel: Spectrum Sound was the DJ for my wedding. I met with Terri multiple times and he made it very clear he wanted this day to be how I dreamed it and would make whatever happen that he could to make my dream come true. When the night came, a friend of Terri’s- Marcus- was the DJ for my wedding. The night went well, our guests had a great time and majority of everyone danced. There was however, a few things as the bride that I was unhappy with. For example, he didn’t play our correct walk in song, he didn’t pronounce our name right, I had to ask him to dismiss for dinner when it was in the notes, I had to ask him to play a certain song that we had outlined in our notes to be played following the mother/son dance. I had to ask him to start the garter/bouquet toss when that’s was also in the notes I gave him. There was only one slow song played the whole night. Overall the night went very well, but I felt I had to push him to keep the night rolling. After the conclusion of the wedding, Terri reached out to me asking how Marcus did. I explained all this to Terri; basically saying Marcus did well and was very professional, but there were things I was displeased with. I receive no response from Terri after this, and instead I receive paragraphs from Marcus criticizing everything I mentioned and then some. He blamed everything I mentioned back on me as well as calling me… and I quote “nitpicky”. He called me rude for never offering him food or drinks throughout the night… as a bride I don’t feel like I should have to think about if the DJ is catered to. He never once apologized for anything. After paying $1700 for this service, I could not be more upset over the disrespect I have received. I may have had a different outlook if Terri had been there, or at least apologetic about my concerns.
Robert Meisinger: Terry from Spectrum Sound does not disappoint! He DJ’ed our wedding last year and he met with us at length to get the playlist perfect. It really was representative of our tastes instead of the usual reception fare and we got so many compliments about the music. This year he DJ’ed my HS reunion. He nailed it again! I appreciate that he is there to play whatever music we want to hear instead of being the center of attention like I have seen from some DJ’s.

Drew Murray: We were able to utilize a photo both for our wedding reception. Very simple to use and set up with the iPad, stand and lights. Owner walked us through how it worked and gave us the booth a few days before the reception so we could adjust the theme, layout, and options prior to the reception. Very professional and we received our photos in a timely manner. We have already suggested this to a few family friends with upcoming events.

Radler: The first part of the wedding went fine - processional, recessional, intros, dinner music, first dances. Then the problems started. The bouquet toss and garter toss were skipped. They didn't have the main party playlist that was sent 6 weeks in advance. There were several times the music stopped entirely and they had difficulty running their own computer equipment. We had guests asking what was going on, probably because several of them have done DJ work themselves in the past. My daughter was deeply embarrassed. She was devastated and ended up sobbing and leaving her own wedding in tears.

Mackenzie Adams: Do not hire Dan as your DJ!! Caught this DJ taking pictures of children at a wedding reception. It was not in his contract and he did not have permission to do so. He was very rude when we questioned him and even yelled at the rbide. When he finally showed us his photos, he had ONLY taken pictures of the teenage girls at the reception. We will be looking into this further.I am a member of the wedding party who helped put the wedding together and all of my statements are true. Nothing has been resolved with the bride. The Dj continues to lie in the reply, see below.

Last but not least…we had to change the date last minute due to severe weather, and he even accommodated that change and made himself available on the new date with only two days notice! He was so easy to work with, his app made the process even easier, and his music is phenomenal.

We mainly had kids on the dance floor at our wedding, and he did a great job at playing songs that the kids knew, as well as keeping the adults engaged with other music. Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! We got a lot of compliments on him throughout the night.
