Every October the West Side Nut Club organizes and sponsors a mammoth Fall Festival. This is a week-long gala on the west side along Franklin Street with free entertainment, carnival attractions, over 137 food booths, amateur talent competitions and on the last day, a huge parade. This event attracts over 200,000 people to the West Side & is considered to be one of the largest street festivals in the United States.

Sharon “Shay” Barnes: I was a bit disappointed.. The quality of food (that we tried) was cheap, frozen or overall just generic like. I don't mind paying such price for something but I'd expect it to be how it was or whatever.Places ran out very early or the item on the map was listed but you get to the booth & they explain it wasn't sposed to be listed..My son & I did get to attend the Special Kids Day again this year, I think it's great they are able to set time aside for this so EVSC kids can enjoy the Festival as well!
