Melanie KRD: We went for Good Friday and enjoyed a nice meal as a family. We all got side garden salads and they were huge! The coconut shrimp appetizer is always a go-to for us; the dipping sauce is delicious. Our meals included fish & chips, shrimp skewers, and a make your own with shrimp scampi and coconut shrimp. Everything was good and we left with several to go boxes. The menu was a bit pricer than we remember, so we won't go often, buy every now and then it's a nice meal.

Elaine Beliles: I have been here several times. My favorite place for seafood in the tri state. The scallops are huge and well worth the money. I get the pier 17 special as a seasoning for the boil and it is always so delicious. Service is always fast and friendly. I cannot praise this restaurant and staff enough.

Barry Thompson: Have been there quite a few times &every time what was ordered was so good. The best tasting fried oysters.The raw Blue Point oysters are the best. The scallops melt in your mouth. The menu has so many different choices of seafood dinnersyou just have to see it yourself to make up your own mind. You can get most choices grilled or fried.The food is real tasty - once in the door it just gets better. All the people that work there are nice & friendly & after you walk up to the counter to put your order in - in no time it's coming out - hot & ready to eat. Comfortable setting - inside seating - outdoor seating & second floor seating. This is just my experience eating there. Don't miss out on this place. If you do it's your own fault !!! Thanks Guys

Mark Worstell: We went there on a Friday night and arrived about 5pm which barely beat the rush. They have a nice selection of fresh fish from what I understand is flown in. They also have an oyster bar. We started out with fresh shucked oysters. We also ordered the shrimp fritters which is one of our favorites. The food is always hot and fresh and comes out in a reasonable amount of time. The only items we wish would be different is the fact that one has to order food and drinks at the counter, then find an open table. Food is then delivered by runners. On busy nights those poor runners are trying to find the order numbers to match the food. It was good when they came by and quickly removed empty plates, but they also should be trying to upsell drinks when they are running low. The other item that we consistently encounter here is that the apps literally come a few minutes before the food. We wish they would have a dedicated apps line cook so that hot apps would come out more quickly and people have time to finish before the meal arrives. Overall, great place!

john detalente: Visited for a birthday dinner. Ordered the combo with 1 pound of crablegs and 1/2 pound of shrimp. There was 6 or 7 of us that went. All the food was brought out after a very short wait time. All the orders were correct and we all left satisfied. We will definitely be back! Also price was in line with other places serving this type of food.

L Barnett: I'm a Lyft driver and I gave a worker a ride home from Juicy Seafood and he had made a pizza and I commented how it smelled amazing! He let me try it and it was so delicious. He said he had made that pizza himself there he's a young chef and he's trying new recipes! That was a good night for me to get free dinner from one of my customers which had never happened before! I appreciate the kindness and consideration sometimes we drive all day and don't stop for anything to eat because it can get really busy driving for Lyft sometime especially when there aren't that many other drivers that day!

Ashton McBride: food was pretty alright, the platter with the jalapeños, cheese curds, and brisket was really good; however i found a hair in my food and was told it didn’t look like human hair and they didn’t do anything about it which is all fine and dandy except i haven’t been around animals so that was disappointing… and the wait staff was pretty standoffish which is off putting. Overall they have alright food but it’s nothing special. Don’t make a night out of it.

Jenna Burch: We came in and waited at the order counter and none of the staff would even acknowledge us. It was a very strange experience. I saw another review describing a similar experience, the difference with us was that we were all at the order counter ready to put in an order and staff walked right on by several times. When we asked if we could order they flat out ignored us. We just ended up leaving. If you don’t want to serve customers you should just lock your door.

Jennilyn Brown: Honestly, was let down. The Mardi Gras dinner buffet was no where near $22 worth of food. Not 1 of the 3 special "night only' buffet items was available. I ordered a drink but nobody wanted to make it. The place was definitely catering to the 2 couples I saw that had ordered a whole bottle of wine. Why even bother having a drink menu. I won't be back.

Jared Ransom: Well I can tell you this we will not go back! We talked to them on the phone, make reservations for a party and arrive with our party at the time they gave us. The owner comes out rude as all get out and says they don’t take reservations and the person that made the reservations will be dealt with! Kimmy Nurse: Went there for the Mardi Gras buffet. I will say I should have known better. It was 1:20pm & the buffet ended at 2pm. But I wanted to sample Mardi Gras food so the buffet it was. It was terrible. It was picked over, dried out food. I know it was close to ending but there were others eating off the buffet. They did not bring out anything new or fresh. When we ordered(you order & pay first) it would have been nice if we had at least been warned it was over- before paying 38$ for 2 for such terrible food. If the food had been good it would have been totally worth it. Cannot recommend and was our first time there. Will probably not go back.

Dioshia Fox: My daughter and I visited this establishment for the first time. Our entire experience was amazing. The bartender served drinks,waited our table and never missed a beat. She was very knowledgeable about the menu from front to back. We chose Thai pineapple chicken with rice and the Birria noodles for our main course. Also has appetizer and dessert which was fabulous. Pricing was cheaper than we expected our bill to be after all the food we received and such good service. We will definitely return soon to try other options ❤️

I’m not much of a dessert person but I couldn’t stop eating this! We are very fortunate to have a restaurant like 2nd Language in Evansville that gives us the opportunity to have high quality food like this. Everyone I was with had something different and loved their selection. 2nd Language is a must if you are looking for an excellent dining experience.

Lauren B: The dessert was great. Crab cakes pretty good, although the sauce choice wasn't my favorite. My husband's steak had a strong smoke flavor, which he enjoyed but I thought was too much. His mashed potatoes were very cold, but he eats them that way at home so he didn't complain. The mushrooms were not good. We complained about them and sent the full bowl (we had one bite each) back to the kitchen. the server was apologetic but did not remove the $9 side dish off the bill. Also it smelled musty in there.
James Masomele: Very attractive space and the food selections were unique our dinners were very good. The wine selection was very extensive. We didn’t have time for dessert but several choices sounded good. Only complaint was due to a large party arriving after us seemed to get our server. He pretty much disappeared by the end of dinner with haphazard replacements.

Ryan McCombs: I understand that it is meant to be a fusion restaurant, however, some classic dishes should be kept the way they are intended. Steak was cooked perfectly, although the chef went very heavy on the glaze which masked the natural favor and the expresso rub they pride themselves on. The tiramisu was another disappointment, great expresso flavor but the overwhelming amount of chocolate ice cream they decided to put on top was unnecessary. Lastly, the wait staff made us feel alienated from the rest of the dining room. We probably won't be returning.
Jason Buis: Fantastic food, service, and drinks! Everything we ordered, and we ordered a lot, was delicious and described to us by our server. It was nice to hear about each component. We made reservations for another visit shortly after leaving. Christian Zimmerman: This is a great little place. Cozy and sophisticated atmosphere. Neat little bar, they have like 150 different whiskeys. Their food is an eclectic group of dishes drawing inspiration from varied cuisines. I had the "weeping tiger" for an appetizer: filet bites served on a bed of greens with fresh naan and a sweet & spicy chili sauce. The meat was tender, the naan was warm and soft, the greens were fresh, and the sauce was very tasty, with just a slight kick. I used the naan slices to make tiny beef rolls dipped in the sauce. Frankly it was delicious. For my entree I had their espresso-rub NY strip with chimichurri. The steak had a great flavor and the espresso rub was one of the best I've had. I'm very picky when it comes to chimichurri, and this one was a winner. Great flavor, not overly oily or vinegary tasting. Overall this is one of my favorite restaurants I've been to lately. Would definitely recommend giving it a try if you're in the Evansville area.
Jarrod Nelson: This is one of the best places I have eaten in the tri state. The whiskey selection is beyond amazing. Fair prices and delicious food. I had the peanut butter pork chop and it was peanut goodness mixed with a tender pork. Definitely coming back when I come back here. Our server was wonderful!!!!! I think her name was Lana, forgive me if not, but she was superb. She suggested my creamy noodle peppery plate that was INCREDIBLE!!!!! We can’t wait to go again!!!!Sorry for no pics….we ate it so fast there was not time. When you forget to take a pic you know it’s amazing!!!!
Brooke Stuart: We had a lovely time at Madeleine's. We made a reservation and were seated immediately. Our server was wonderful and very accommodating. We told her we were in town for concert and she asked about our schedule so she could make sure were done by a certain time.Definitely get the deconstructed crab rangoon. The steak and mashed potatoes were great as well.We skipped wine and went for martinis instead. Delicious!No room for dessert but it sounded delicious.
Jack: Service was tremendous. I dined with my girlfriend and I let the staff know in advance that it was our anniversary. They decorated the table in romantic fashion and it made dinner really special for us. The food was amazing too. Expensive, but for us it was well worth it.

Facebook page hasn’t been updated since 2013…not good.
Stephanie Mann: This place was so awesome! The owner was so friendly. Made us feel right at home. The food was delicious. I loved Sandy's dressing. She said it was her grandmother's recipe. If we're ever in Indiana again we will stop in and enjoy a delicious meal.

Rian Ray: I have been passing by this place for too long without stopping and trying it. Today, I stopped and am glad I did. I had the grilled tilapia platter. It was phenomenal. Cooked perfect with some great spices and grilled onions on top. The sides, however, green beans and cole slaw, weren't so great. They were not bad, 100% edible. They just were not on the same level as the fish. That makes this a 4 star overall for me. The restaurant was clean, and so was the bathroom. If you have not given this place a shot, you really need to.
