    Chris Lee: This place has awesome breakfast. If you are too fancy this might not be your cup of tea. This has a sixties era diner feel to it. The place is not large at all. It is very comfortable and you do not need to get fancied up to eat here just come as you are. The staff are very friendly. The food will come out quickly hot and fresh. Plenty of parking in the back.

    Gene Travers: Always good food. I got the turkey and dressing with a bowl of vegetable beef soup to start. The soup was so good! If I knew it was that good I would have just gotten a couple of bowls of that for my dinner! The rolls are, as always, outstanding and the strawberry butter is to die for. My "go to" place to eat when everyone wants something different to eat because they have a varied menu.I also remember going here to eat when I was little and it was the Farmer's Daughter Burger joint, so brings back good memories.

    Mike Schaefer: My first time here. Started off with the stuffed mushrooms. WOW, they were incredible! Had a New York strip, that was incredible! Best NYS I've had in 3 years! The fried okra was on point as well. The ceasor salad would have been better with a different ceasor dressing. The service was fantastic! I'll definitely be returning, and will continue to make this a regular dinner destination! Update.. Tonight was my now 10th time here and everything the same, except I had a ribeye. Krista graciously said she would take us as her table and let us choose the table. She is absolutely fantastic and saved the night /experience for sure. She is very knowledgeable, sweet, and caring. Our server, Devin, was very busy covering several tables, but he managed to be attentive. He was great. The food was delicious. They were busy, but were able to seat us quickly.We're not familiar with downtown Evansville, but enjoyed driving up Main Street. They've done quite a bit of work to make their downtown area appealing. This restaurant is in a restored home and they've done an amazing job converting it into a restaurant.Our waiter was great. We gave service four stars instead of five, but I don't believe it was his fault. I would ask for him again without hesitation. I just believe he was given too many tables. But even then, he handled the situation well and deserved the extra tip.The food was the star, though. Can't wait to get back and try lunch and dinner, because breakfast was an absolute hit!
