Food that was making my sheepie throw up. I was on my break and she was willing to turn me away. The owner was amazing he had no issue. Upon the owner telling her to refund me she asked him “are you sure”. Not a good way to hide the fact that you didn’t want to refund me when you ask the owner is he sure he wants to right in front of me. Owner is a great guy he just needs a more customer oriented manager.

Brittany McCormick: Each time we go to PetSmart we are greeted at the door with a warm hello. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about all of the animals in their care. We always have a pleasant experience because we are confident that we are getting all the correct information and help we need to make our pets thrive. If one employee doesn’t know the answer to your question, they find someone who does! They have the biggest selection of pet items in Evansville, which makes it a one shop stop kind of experience. You could say it’s the Walmart of pet care. 😂 We have recently been experiencing hardship with our fish tank and the staff had many suggestions for what we could do to stop the death toll from rising. They explained in great detail what we could use to keep our water condition controlled as well as plant life that would improve the quality of life for our fish. Though the prices of items are a little pricey, I feel the quality and value is worth it. We’ve had an overall great experience so far and plan to make more visits in the future.

Angela Price: I'm a little upset with the grooming of my girl Nahla at the Buekhardt store in Evansville indiana. I think they were so busy that day that they too choppy with her grooming. There are ar least 3 areas that weren't groomed neatly.
Luke Chaney: Grooming sucks. I took our dog to get his nails clipped. They clipped 3 nails, when I noticed I asked why and than they told me it's because he wouldn't quit moving. Three of his nail are cut sideways and it hurts my dog to walk. Highly don't recommend

My cats are obsessed with a certain dry kibble that is much cheaper here locally than on chewy or amazon. I'm thankful Evansville has a good honest local pet business.My only complaint (if you can even call it one) is I wish there were more options for kitties! Especially with vitamins and supplements.

Since I live out of town, the staff is great at putting aside the products I need so that they are in stock when I arrive. Exceptional service, very friendly and knowledgeable.

Jose Ramos: My wife and I usually buy Farmina for our puppy from Pet Supplies Plus in Owensboro. Unfortunately, PSP no longer carries Farmina. We found that Give a Dog a Bone carries that brand and figured its worth the hour drive to check them out.This store is very CLEAN. The owner and staff are very personable and helpful. They were so nice to even offered for us to bring back the open bag of puppy food for refund or switch out food bags, in case our puppy doesn't eat it.This particular store carries a loooot of really awesome brand foods for your dog that are healthy for them. I've never seen a placed so stocked up with Nature's Logic, which can be hard to find. Farmina is here!!!!They carry a lot of reputable raw brands as well plus freeze dried fish, duck heads, bully sticks, etc etc. Also have a wide variety of toys, collars, dog/cat beds.This is the place to go to for good nutrition for your dog or cat!

You quickly feel like your pets are top priority.I switched to “Go” dog food a few months back and am so grateful to see the results of happy dogs and healthy guts. One of the team members took time to listen to different diets that I had already tried and gave me several options. They took the confusion and frustration out of reading and trying to understand animal nutrition for me.I have purchased ruffwear vibram shoes from this store and was invited to bring my dog in the store to have him fitted. It is comforting to know that no matter if we are on trails hiking, or jogging down town his paw pads are protected. We have had these shoes for a few years now and they still look new. They wash so well and protect against ice, rocks, broken glass, etc.I am so thankful to Quincy, Liz, and the staff at Give a Dog a Bone. Their kindness and caring nature has strongly impacted us and our kiddos. I can’t help but smile when I walk in. The vibe of this store is unbelievable. Let them educate you on ways to help your pets. The results might just be life altering for you and your pet. I know it has been for me!

Brittany McCormick: We have had the best experience with Pet Food Center West lately. We recently added some new pets to our home and the staff was very helpful in our transition. They were extremely knowledgeable about hamsters and gave us all the info we needed to make them have the happiest life possible. Our girl Reggie wants for nothing thanks to the staff at PFCW. They have also recently helped us with our fish tank problems. We have had an influx of death amongst our poor fish and we immediately sought out help. The staff tested our water, gave suggestions on tank improvement conditions, and even replaced the fish we had lost. Overall it has been a wonderful experience and we will continue to visit for our pet needs!

Jay Roy: I had an amazing experience at this location with Tessa. I go here almost everyday with my service dog in training. Today I wasn't feeling the best so I sat down away from people and soon had an episode. Half way through I opened my eyes and noticed Tessa sitting with me (which is what handlers prefer our dogs are trained to know what to do) she redirected my service dog when she got distracted by another dog and kept her close when she got up (she is still in training so mistakes happen Tessa handled this wonderfully) when I came to I thank her and she ask if I was okay and needed water. She then ran across the street to get me water. She has been the absolute best experience I can't thank her enough! This store in general is absolutely amazing with us always so respectful!

TONI M. Reese: Some people here are not the best at working in a pet store. If you don't want to chase fish around for a customer then don't work here. Also please wear deodorant! I ask for 8 guppies which the tank had maybe 20 the employee was huffing and puffing trying to catch these guppies ended up only catching like 3 and told me they couldn't get any more. So I told the employee that's ok never mind. I understand if the employee was not supposed to be doing the fish but they should be trained in every area then or don't ask me if I need help with the fish. As I was leaving the employee was like I wonder how I get these back into the tank. It took us no less than 10 minutes to get 3 guppies and by the time the employee was done the little room smelt so bad of body odor. Employees should be trained and advise of how they should dress, smell, and look presentable in any store/business they work in.
