We did and the pressure regulator had a leak that is on the gas company side of the meter. Technician who came out said it was a good thing we called him.

Jeffrey Hard: Called them early on a Friday about a broken sump pump. The person who answered the phone said they were booked for that day, but there were storms forecast for the weekend so they would find a way to fit me in. By 1pm there was a technician working in my basement. In addition to replacing the sump pump, Andrew found a leak I didn’t know I had, but which was causing our basement to flood every time it rains, in our crawl space and fixed it. They did the exact same thing every time they came out to my house, but expected it to "work this time". They never fixed the issue. The office manager is also extremely rude. None Required: So happy they fixed my problem! I originally spoke with Dennis about a problem I was having with my hot water valve to the washer. I decided to use my home warranty since they use Ace locally. I called the next morning and to my surprise they could have someone out at 9AM. Never expected such quick service. The gentleman who showed up was very quick and friendly. He had to run get the valve but that was no big deal. Problem seems fixed and I am so happy how they treated me through the process. Always use Ace!!

I called them and spoke with a very nice girl who cared about my problem. She put me on a cancellation list. To much my surprise they had a cancellation and they were able to come out to help me. The plumber called about 30 minutes prior to arrival as expected. He was a very pleasant man who was very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience. He was able to pinpoint the problem and take care of it. I would totally recommend this company. Not only are they dependable and reliable but they didn't take advantage of me. JP Patton: On a positive note they showed up within an hour or two of me calling. However they charged me $104 to relight the pilot light and was gone in five minutes saying that if anything else happened to call them but probably needed to replace the water heater for $1300 because it was built 2006. When I called them back a couple hours later after the pilot light went off again the owner returned my call and again said that I should go ahead and replace the whole water heater…I declined and the conversation ended. My advice is call a company like Bud’s that will come out and not charge you $104 for 5 minutes of work that doesn’t help. BTW…I fixed the heater myself with an $8 thermocouple from Menards.

I purchased an older home and replaced the existing galvanized steel and copper system with PVC and PEX, installed a new sink and dishwasher. The system has been in place a year now.
