Heidelbach Canoe Launch: what do users think?
Ronald Miller: Nice but creek low here in mid November
Lori Culbertson: Great place to walk
Nicole Miller: Very pretty and peaceful
Joshua Venson: Great parking for great recreational exercise oh yeah and they have a nice bike trail.
ZX10RFast Fast: Awesome walking passage.
Glenn Upchurch: Man they sure have cleaned this area up .. looking good around the launch site
clyta Lunsford: Needs some attention!
Buddy Tucker: Its covered in mud be carefulI am sure it well be cleaned by spring but atm its slick
Anne Keefer: Very convenient access to the greenway northern terminus.
Joshua Ohmer: Beautiful place for a walk.
James C.: Wet Wet
Ashley Riester: We started at the Green River Canoe Launch, and kayaked downstream to Heidelbach. This launch area is clean and easy to access. Highly recommend taking your kayaks down Pigeon Creek on a sunny day!I love this hidden gem of Evansville!
Patrick Scheidegger: Poop water.
Victor Montgomery: Nice to just sit and relax
Samantha Newcom: Very nice to walk and you can ride your bike.
Jerry Arman: Walked on the Greenway passage. Very nice walking/bicycling path. Very well maintained.
Tony Starks: It is a canoe launch into Pigeon Creek in Evansville Indiana. I'm not sure what to say as far as reviews go. It is free, it's small, it is paved so you can drive a vehicle down close to the creek. It is on the Greenway bike/waking path. There is a porta potty there at the small parking area - maybe fit 10 cars. IDK if the porta potty is a permanent thing. They are doing some work on the bike trail so it is possible that is for the workersThe launch is only suitable for canoes or kayaks, the water is not normally deep enough for any bigger or deeper draft boats
Augusta Collins: Awesome. Mother Nature is so amazing.
Cynthia Waters: It's nice lived it
nathanael ramsey: Great relaxing place
Brenda Webb: The park is great, lots of big beautiful trees, wildlife, flowers, people enjoying fishing, walking or bicycling around the park or greenway. I would not canoe in the creek, to much debris, and polluted water. I just wouldn't take a chance of eating any fish, walking in the water, or having any cut and having the creek water on them,With the possibility of becoming sick.I would just stick to the park, it like having the country in the city.
