Skate World: what do users think?
David Igleheart: Good family fun.
Sus Temple: Unprofessional staff.
Thermal Tech: Nice skating rink that is open 6 days a week.Recently refinished the floor.Nice smooth surface
Tarra Short: Overpriced, the entire staff if disrespectful and inappropriate. Haylee Street I believe her name is is the worst of them all. The place is gross, looks like a bunch of puberty bound high school boys cleaned after mom told them they couldn't leave the house until the did. Arcade games are always broke down. Skates are wore down. Dress code is geared to make little girls think their bodies are shameful. Unsafe conditions for little kids learning to skate.
Sir-G__G: Terrible place for family’s to visit. The staff is beyond toxic. Especially the managers. Your child is not safe in a place like this. Skate world needs fire all of it staff and get people in there who can treat people like humans. If you have special needs kids, the manger( Haley streets) will target. She prays on people she thinks are weak.
Mary Pocasangre: No protection for children on skate night. Owner needs to be aware of whats going on between the adults interacting with the kids. Never going back there again.
Jobn Street: I love taking my grandkids here. Family fun for everyone.
William Haggard: Drop kids off ,couple hours of peace and quiet ahhhhhhh, then pick kids up never been inside probably never will but hey thats okay i like you anyway hahaha....
Edward Natero: It's a good place to skate and have fun. They even play games on the rink.
xxterra_incognitaxx: There's no regulation on what's happening on the floor. It's so disorganized and chaotic. Super unsafe conditions.
Amber Tuleya: Please if you are planning on teaching your child to skate, do NOT take them here. I'm not saying it is Skate World's fault, but I was trying to teach my 6yo how to skate and someone came up from behind me and ran me over so bad my hip is now severely bruised. If you want to teach them how to skate I recommend you buy them their own and teach them at home or somewhere safe. I'm very disappointed and hurt and I didn't even get an apology from the person that did it.
Zach Lamanske: It stunk like body odor bad but other then that kids had a blast!!
Derek Miller: Not the cleanest or nicest place in the world but they have cheap skating and do fun games during open skates
Matti3Ic3: The dress code is kind of ridiculous and sometimes if u have small children they need to be careful. Some people there only worry about themselves. But the games are fun and they have a wide variety of skates and also ones u can buy. The food is average for this kind of place and not too expensive. They have tools for the kids to learn to skate on and it gets them out there. Plenty of room to sit and talk and the arcade games are decent as well.
Kyle Ray: This Place is a Joke, we were attacked by that curly headed blonde as soon as we entered. This was our first visit & the security guy didn’t say anything about our daughters bag until we got in an got attacked by that curly headed blonde about it. There’s friendlier ways to tell someone you can’t have bags inside lol. The place also seemed like a giant daycare with all the parents leaving there kids there. Anyways it just seemed run down and the staff was really unprofessional. If you want a horrible experience definitely check this place out.
Amber Boner: Boy this place is a real treasure. Please do not patronize this establishment. It’s full of rude people who have no regard for others. How dare you throw out a THREE YEAR OLD’s allergy free pizza because “OuTsIdE fOoD iSnT aLlOwEd”? You know what shouldn’t be allowed? Treating people like garbage and having no compassion. Every place of business should have guidelines for how to treat special situations. I understand the girl at the door was understanding and let this family in with their pizza, but she still should have communicated what was happening to all of the employees.
Kimberly Charles: We arrived at 1:30 for the 1:00 skate and there was still a long line outside. Entering the building there was a strong distasteful smell in the very small foyer area. It was impossible to hear the person at the ticket counter. Inside was very crowded, which was to be expected on a Saturday. However, now you have to wait in a second line for skates. We then put money into 3 different lockers before finding one that worked. All the lockers were thick with grime and dirt around the edges. While our granddaughter started to skate I stood at the half wall which was extremely sticky. (Almost every surface in this building was dirty.) When she decided she needed a trainer we waited in line for a 3rd time to pay $5 for some pvc pipe on wheels. I think that most of the positive reviews are due to nostalgia and lack of other fun activities to do with kids in our area. Overall, our granddaughter had fun, which is what is important. Last word of advice, bring extra quarters and lots of hand sanitizer!
Sentient: Good place to skate... If you have experience skating. The majority of the rink has no short wall for you to be able to hold on to, people like to go fast and cut through small gaps between people and they will end up knocking you over. There's a lot of games that last like 10-15 minutes in which you need to be an experienced skater to even have fun playing them. They have a backwards skate that lasts about 5-10 minutes so if you can't skate backwards, you're not allowed on the skating floor.BUT, if you are a experienced skater, I couldn't recommend this place more. The people are fun, going through the crowd is overall really fun just try not to knock people over. The music is.. subpar but I guess that's to be expected. Overall, skate world is not a bad place.
James DeVoy: Fun for everyone!
Theresa Yarde: Great place for birthday parties!
Jessica Spooner: We were there for a bday party. We had a great time! The staff was friendly and helpful. My 4 year old had a blast and picked up very quickly while skating around. We loved when the characters came out to dance with us. I do know that my friend who booked the party had a few issues with pricing that never got sorted out. So, if you are booking a party make sure you ask all the questions. The food isn't super great but we didn't really go there to eat so that wasn't that big of a deal. Overall, it was a lot of fun.
