Anita Ballester: The rooms here were extremely comfortable, clean, spacious, well lit, and adequately supplied with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. There were no weird odors in the room, either. There was adequate parking and the outside was well-lit. This hotel is pet friendly, too. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The only reasons I gave it four stars is because it is under renovation and it took us three tries to catch the elevator to go up to our room and five tries to get the elevator to be able to take our luggage down to the car to leave the next morning. The breakfast that was included was a bit lacking, as well. It looked more like something I would expect at Comfort Inn or Days Inn, not an IHG property. Overall, I would definitely stay there again! I'm sure once the renovations are completed, it will once again be a five star property!

Alex Rogers: It's an older property showing its age, but it's priced accordingly. Despite the building being slightly rough around the edges, my room was impeccably clean and quiet. Mattresses were on the firm side, which may be a good or bad thing depending on your preference. I was slightly annoyed by the desk clerk engaged in a long seemingly unnecessary conversation with the guest in line in front of me when he could clearly see me waiting to check out. The woman running the breakfast area ended up doing the desk clerk's job for him and taking my keys. The desk clerk's lack of efficiency and professionalism cost this property a star. Despite that, I'd happily stay here again.

Krush: Check in was quick, which was nice, but I would have rather known about housekeeping, breakfast, etc. Literally no information was given other than my room number. The room was clean, but the hotel was LOUD. All night. Either bring ear plugs or request an upper floor. I was given a lower floor and heard people slamming doors, stomping, and going up and down the halls all night. I was only in town for one night, otherwise I would have requested a room change or just gone somewhere else.

Alli J'son: Both people we interacted with at the front desk while we there were great! The 2 beds plus sofa bed was great with family of 5. Location was ideal since we were in town for a basketball tournament at North High School. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of pillows. Holiday Inn Expresses usually always have really neat lighting, like this one does. Only complaint is how we could hear everything in the room above us.. and apparently there was a band that was occupying that room. They came in around 2:30 a.m. and I woke up believing there was an earthquake. Other than that, all was great. Would stay here again.

The overnighters are always extremely helpful if I have any concerns, questions, etc. The róoms are chique and modern and looks expensive for it being on average $100 a night, including deposit.Rooms: Always clean, modern style, chique. Love the breakfast/tabletop bar island in the middle that also acts as a divider between the bed space and the living room. Nice hot showers, clean to boot. Toilets and sinks are also clean along with the MVP, the king bed. Even with a blacklight, the sheets show zero stains. That's what I call an underrated hotel. Kudos to Econo Lodge on the east side past the shopping centers/mall!Food & drinks: Biscuits and gravy aren't half bad, just be sure to microwave them. There are two waffle makers and instructions are easy to follow, just be sure to spray PAM on both sides first before closing and flipping over the waffle inside the maker.. otherwise you'll be stuck scraping burnt, stuck on waffle for what seems like an eternity while your face glows beat red. Ha!Noteworthy details: It's setting is pretty far removed from civilization but only by about 1-2 miles. However, I remember a 24 hour gas station and also white castle right by the hotel for those checking in late. Very nice gas station, tóo. You'll likely need the ATM for the cash deposit if you want it back the next day instead of waiting for the multiple day ACH transaction to be canceled and returned back to your account. SAll in all, until they prop more businesses open, it's very quiet out there (no busy roads/intersections/few buildings/mostly empty plots of land. there are lots of grassy area and sidewalks to walk dogs and clean up pet messes as well.

When I got to the hotel to check my resident in, the hotel was clean. His room was clean and he was happy. He loved the breakfast. The front desk clerk was very attentive. Charity Rae: My guy and I had checked in late and were exhausted and tired. I used choice privilege points, upon arriving, I asked at check in if I could have a late check out night clerk said no problem. Upon arriving to our room it was very humid and hot that the a/c unit took several hours to cool the room down, became very uncomfortable. The shower fixture had black mold and this room in particular should not have been let out. Day desk clerk said we should have reported it when we arrived. I stated we were already tired and wanted privacy not to be bothered by staff. Upon check out I asked for my points to be reimbursed clerk said she wished she could. I said points should be credited to my account when the stay was not good and a late check out should be noted that the credit card will be charged for late check out.....bad business. I do not recommend this choice hotel chain.

There was a whole kitchen with dishes, pans, cutlery, toaster, coffee maker, normal size fridge not one of the mini ones you can barely use but an actual fridge, dishwasher, microwave that doubles as an oven with the press of a button, and they even have stove tops available by request. The pool was nice. The whole hotel was very clean and accommodating. Breakfast was great, lot of options so there is something for everyone. Beds are super comfy. Beth Knoblauch: This hotel was beyond my expectations. Because of this hotel's staff, I will favor Hilton hotels on all my trips. This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in whether business or pleasure - the cleaning crew was top notch. The room and bed was very comfortable and roomy. Nice linens with lots of pillows. Couch was comfy and the TV could turn towards bed when needed. The kitchenette was a great addition. Although I ordered out dinners it was great to have a full size fridge for juices or snacks and water. The workout room was perfect for me. Had what I needed to get a good workout. The bonus was that the laundry area is in a section of the workout area, somewhat. I could put in a load of laundry and then jump on the elliptical for 30 mins while it washed. And even better- the washer and dryer are each only $1 per load. The washer is front load and was decent and they also have laundry detergent paks at the front desk if you need some. They also have dryer sheets I believe. I will definitely be staying at this hotel when back in Evansville, IN. The staff at this hotel made my stay the perfect home away from home! Thank you to all!Rooms: Always very clean, crew did a fantastic job! Very comfortable rooms, very pleased with the space.Noteworthy details: The staff was absolutely incredible. Brittany W: Fast, easy, digital key from your phone, free breakfast, kitchenette with everything but a stove, pet friendly. When someone reads a review they typically only read the first bit so I tried to smoosh in everything I loved about my stay. It was amazing. There was staff present and welcoming but the check in was contact-less. You get a digital key on your phone (via the app) that grants you access to the side entrances as well as your room. But that is completely optional, you can always opt for a physical key card. They have blackout curtains- something i have never experienced - and I slept like a rock. The room i stayed in *smelled* clean. It didn't smell like a typical hotel, that odd smell like other hotels I've stayed at had. I know thats an odd thing to point out, but it made it feel even better. It feels like the staff care about their customers as well as presentation. I cannot stress enough how amazing they are. It has been a few days since my stay and I cannot think of one negative thing about this hotel. I stayed there for one night and I never want to book with another hotel service but a Hilton Home2 Suites.

Jeff Vadney: reservation was made, and given a quote a different price was charged. Internet did not work. Nobody was on the premises. I could fix it young kid, running the front desk more interested in personal calls. Bathroom was dirty found blood in the shower and mold on the ceiling and walls. No hotel can be 100% perfect all the time that's not how life is but how they handle situations would set them apart. The management at this hotel had no desire to make it right and was very unprofessional. I would never stay there again, and would not recommend anybody else.

George Davis: Great experience. Was in Evansville for a night, and I was not expecting much from this place, given the rate. Room had been remodeled very recently and did not look like the pictures. It was very clean and fresh. Super friendly staff. Didn't try breakfast or mess with the WiFi, but the room was great, which mattered the most. Will be back!
