    4worldlovers: Kabob Xpress has plenty of options for those looking to chow down on hardy kabobs of lamb, beef, chicken, and shrimp infused with Middle Eastern flavors to pair with other popular dishes like chicken shawarma and gyro. The chicken shawarma and gyro meat are slow-cooked on a vertical rotisserie spit, keeping the meat moist with marinated seasonings.

    All of Kabob Xpress’ food is Halal, which is a traditional way of preparing foods that adhere to Islamic law, such as removing the blood from meats before cooking them. Halal is similar to Koshier.

    We have a large menu with something for everyone. Once you have placed your order, we prepare it from scratch so each item is hot when it comes out. We have sought the best ingredients to make the best-tasting Mederterainan food in Evansville. Come in and relax while we bring the flavors of the Mederterainan to you.

    What a great find! We tried today for the first time and were extremely pleased! Everything was so flavorful. We had Chicken Kabob plate, Mix grill, and lamb sandwich all were great entrées. We also loved the Naan bread, chopped salad and rice. We finished with Baklava and Turkish coffee. Amazing! We were also given samples of Moroccan Tea that was very pleasing too! Definitely recommend and will be back!

    Ordered a pretty large takeout order last night and it was great! We had a lamb kabob, gyro plate, beef kabob, and chicken shawarma plate. We also had hummus with naan and pita. The breads were delicious, hot, and fresh. We had rice and grilled veggie with all of our plates and they were great! Lastly we ordered two chopped salads and they were very fresh and delicious! We will defiantly eat here again!

    Oh my what an experience. The service is wonderful. The food is incredible. all I can say is WOW. So good. perfectly cooked and large portions. Give them a try and they will become your favorite.

    Ilker Erkose: Not everything halal. Be careful. They had to remove the shawarma from my platter after realizing that I am asking halal food strictly. They said it was not halal that’s why they had to take it out from the plate. That’s why I cannot say that everything is halal and I am also not sure if they pay attention to halal rules when cooking. Probably my food was already contaminated with non-halal food. If it’s not halal don’t sell it, if you are selling non halal then warn people when they are ordering and don’t mixed up their halal food with non halal food, don’t even let them to touch each other. I am removing one more star from my rating due to restaurant’s response.
