Dale Jarboe: I called before lunch today to see about getting the uunder pinning on my granddaughter car fixed. They were able to get me in within a couple hours. We went to eat and just as we were finishing I received a call that the car was ready. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Very helpful for me being from out of town and granddaughter in college in Evansville. Charged me about one fourth of what I expected to pay. Great customer service. I will definitely be back if I need mechanical help again.

Missy Baker: I wouldn't go anywhere else than Thrifty. Very knowledgeable they tell you exactly what they do before you give them your keys. Or in my case family member decided to give me a tune-up for Christmas. Set it up with them then I called in the appt. Got the car back the very nxt day. Then the receipt tells you what they did. The prices right up on the wall so you can decide what gets done or you can see if there is a discount. My car is a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis. Mercury not around but Ford Crown Victoria is. It's 20 yrs old. And it's been running like new ever since I've been with Thrifty. I recommend them.

Staci Kinman: Thrifty has been my go-to for years and (as always!) my most recent experience did not disappoint! I was horrified to discover my car leaking oil on Christmas Day. I was scheduled to leave town two days later! They got me in very last-minute and diagnosed the problem by 9:30 in the morning. My car needed extensive repairs which they worked into their busy holiday week. It was no problem to leave my car there until I got back in town and they communicated with me about what was going on with my car throughout the whole ordeal. They turned what could have been a disaster into a manageable situation. I am safely back on the road now and I am very thankful to the team at Thrifty for taking good care of me! Paige Raleigh: I got my car fixed here and had to work all week so I wasn't able to pick it up until the following week. I have an extra set of keys so I thought I would let my car warm up. Im about to get in and there is a homeless man sleeping in the back seat of my car. I couldn't be mad at the homeless man I didn't leave my car in his hands. Then one guy lies and say he couldn't have been in there long we just moved it. I have been riding by all week checking on my car and its been in the same spot but ok. Couldn't give me an explanation or compensation. They will never get my business again.

Olivia Gray: In January, I noticed my heat in my older Ford Fusion wasn't working properly, so I called Thrifty to make an appointment. As the days went by, my car started over heating and leaking fluid and was very loud. I didn't feel comfortable driving it, so I used my AAA service to have it towed there. I figured it needed a new radiator and assumed it would be 300-500 or so. When I got the estimate texted to me, I was shocked. It was over 2,000. I took a closer look to see brake replacements, oil change, new battery, and a few other small things listed on top of the radiator replacement. First off, I had previously had my brakes checked out at a different place. They were acting a little weird and just needed to be flushed. They said they looked good though and have been fine since. (this was a place that specializes in tires and brakes). They said I had NO oil, which was hard to believe considering I wasn't even close to needing an oil change yet and I am always on top of it. They also were going to charge almost $100 for oil when I can get a full service at Speedy Oiler for $40. They also said my battery "failed their test". I have never had my car die on me, and it has been fine since then 4 months later. I called and expressed my concerns and asked if they could just replace the radiator since I didn't think the others needed fixed. The man said they could be they wouldn't "guarantee their work if they don't fix it all". I declined the work and then had my car towed to The Answer and had a WONDERFUL experience. I asked them to check my oil, battery and brakes too since I didn't believe Thrifty. They were all fine, which I knew and they said I had plenty of oil. They did not charge me as much for the radiator too. I see it as this place saw a young woman get her car towed, so they figured I was not knowledgeable and desperate and tried to take advantage of me. I do not respect a business who price gouges and tries to do unnecessary things. I am glad I went to The Answer and saved over $1000. My car is driving great, battery is fine and my brakes are fine. Don't let them lie to you or take advantage of you!Service:General repairs maintenance

Chuck Smith: Nice people but still having car problems. All brake pads replaced and a bulb replaced in headlights. After taking my car back in after about 3-4 weeks of squeaky brakes, I was told they forgot to put anti-squel on the pads. That lasted about 2 days and my brakes are back to squealing.The old bulb in the headlight replacement was left in the headlight case.Edit: After getting another set of brake pads elsewhere, Donny worked with me and I'm super appreciative.Service:Auto brake repair

You can call plenty of other places that do free diagnostic and dont charge 500 just for labor alone

Kevin Mahoney: Ordered 2 small checkballs for 12.68 or something. Bear transmissions gave me 7 for free. After 2 days got tired of waiting when they said it would be 1 to 2 days.

Courtney Foster: Appt was easy to make online. My car was brought back on time. I had to bring my 1 yr old with me and every single employee that worked there said hi to her and interacted with her as we were waiting. Good prices, great service!
Timothy Kaufman: Could not just explain my engine was frozen and to wait till it warmed up, no, they went ahead and started work even without my approval. Don't get me started on the sales department. And the hits on my credit. Ended up paying cash instead because it was the only van around.
Ellie Gaspardo: I got my break pads, calipers, and hoses replaced here and everything was fine until one month I started hearing the same noise again. I took it back for them to look at it and they said it was making that noise again because my break plates were rusting away and they couldn’t do anything about it. I’m not from here so I took my car back to my mechanic at home and he told it was making that noise because they didn’t put lubricant on the break pads when they replaced them and the noise went away. I wouldn’t have had any issues if they simply just put lubricant on the break pads, a simple mistake. My problem could have been solved sooner by them if they just took my car apart and looked at what they had just replaced. It was frustrating because all this time I thought nothing could be done and something was wrong when really it was a mistake and misinformation they gave me.
