R: My experience with Within Sight was damaging and incredibly hurtful, rather than therapeutic and healthy.In 2018, I scheduled an appointment with Sasha Kendall after being referred by my therapist who was moving. We scheduled my first session, however, in the interim I decided not to continue with therapy.Please don’t ever email to cancel your first appointment (this was, apparently, a really huge mistake on my end): MAKE SURE TO SPEAK WITH A HUMAN BEING WHEN YOU CANCEL YOUR SESSION. Even then, make them send you confirmation or some kind of acknowledgment through paper mail or something regarding the arrangements you have made. Your health is important. If you email and no one sees it? Allllll downhill from there: You are a time slot and dollar signs. Not a person in need of care.I emailed on a Friday to cancel a Monday or Tuesday appointment (can’t remember) giving an explanation and never heard back, assumed everything was fine. A few days later, I get a phone call from Within Sight to check in regarding my appointment. I remember distinctly, as I was driving and spoke with a female while in the car via hands free. At that time, I explained that I had emailed to cancel and told her that I was sorry, but had decided to stick with my therapist until she moved, then I wanted to take a break from therapy. She kindly said “ok, I understand. You can give us a call whenever you are ready.”(I really should’t have taken a break from therapy, but the anxiety of starting with a new therapist was entirely too overwhelming - this is why I took a break)Fast forward one year.I finally work up the courage to make the call. I call Within Sight, no one answers. I email Within Sight, no one responds. A week goes by, I call again and someone answered. She took my information, said they wanted to check with my insurance and would give me a call back.Several days go by....I get a call from someone at Within Sight -someone named Megan - who proceeds to ask me if I have ever been to therapy at Within Sight before. I tell her no. (I just moved here and wasn’t ready for a new therapist at the time.) She proceeds to tell me that I already have a chart there with a note stating that Sasha Kendall put me on a “no schedule” list....meaning that Within Sight refuses to schedule with me. Megan then tells me that when they had reached out about my appointment, that I didn’t return the call. Obviously, I was very confused and caught off guard by this as we absolutely did speak over the phone and I was told to call back when I was ready.Now I’m ready. I did call. It took me more than a year to work up the courage to make that call to Within Sight. It’s embarrassing that it took me that long, but my anxiety just wouldn’t let me call. Unfortunately, Within Sight shows no mercy. I am just so confused. I’m not sure why I am being refused help, but I’m also sure that I can’t be the only one who has been turned away like this. I just cannot understand a human being in need of care, reaching out for what could potentially be life-saving help being refused treatment. I’m sorry. I just cannot understand.

Bob Bredhold: So initially it was a good experience. The office staff was very nice, organized and on point. I went in for the genesight test to find out what the best antidepressant was for me. I met Amy, the nurse practitioner and she evaluated me and did the swab. I was told I would be called with the results. It was over due by over a week for them to return and I had to call and was told, "Oh they just came in". A friend of mine also had this same experience with theirs. I then had to wait until a Wednesday or Thursday because that is the only days Amy works. I only got a rushed overview of the results over the phone. I had several in the green category and only a few in the yellow. Amy insisted I take one in the yellow which made no sense but went with it. I ended up having stomach issues on it. It was very difficult to get ahold of Amy again because of the limited hrs. I was frustrated enough I talked to my GP and got off of it and on a new one in the green category. It is working much better and addresses several of the issues I mentioned initially that I don't feel she considered. In conclusion I felt rushed, un-listened to, and frustrated and in the end did not recive the help I needed and had to go else where. This was several months ago but now that I'm feeling much better on the new meds it made me feel a review was necessary.

Amy Bartow: The staff is amazing. From the girls at the front to the therapists and NPs. I love that I can come to one place for therapy and med management. This enables my therapist and NP to discuss how I’m doing and decide if anything needs to change. Definitely would recommend!

Bradly Duff: We love the staff here ! The women in the office are sensitive to what you may be going through and are extremely helpful ! Anna and Charlene are absolutely phenomenal at their jobs. This is a great place for teenagers, couples, people with PTSD, the LGBTQ++ community and just about everyone else !
