Orthopaedic Associates, Inc.: what do users think?
Mike Creager: If it was not for the orthopedic group I would not be walking they were a fantastic group
richard merrill: I felt that I received very good care, spent time explaining my situation to me and what to expect in the future
Brooke James: While I have always had great care in the past, my last visit was not the best. Dr Moore needs to work on his patient care. I am extremely glad I got a second opinion at Tri State orthopaedic cause it could have gotten worse if I had waited for a follow up appointment to get advanced imaging.
Sandy Knotts: Dr. Aaron Mull has been fantastic, he's going through every option to be sure my husband has full potential of his hand, very kind professional staff!
Breanna Carias: My husband was injured in a mine accident. Deconess hospital and Dr Braynt the on call trauma ortho doctor were great! Dr fehrebacher was okay. He seems like a very busy doctor (which i am sure he is) and is very hard to get answers from etc. My 2 star review is for the office staff specifically the workers comp dept office employees. They are incredibly hateful people. I often spoke to a woman named Kelsey in this dept who refused to schedule appointments for my husband to discuss concerns with doctor (I cant really hold doctor responsible because she would never reciprocate our concerns to the doctor) My husband suffered a very traumatic hand injury… crushed hand tendons severed and nerve damage… Yes, it happened at work but it was a freak accident something no one could ever imagined would happen and something unavoidable and Kelsey refused to have an ounce of support or concern for his well being. Our last appointment we had there were no notes loaded into the system before we checked out. The front desk clerk just printed a random PT order and release to work. We had no idea he was going back and doctor never mentioned he would (hints why we had many questions and concerns only being 4 weeks out from crushing his hand and 2 surgeries later and just 2 weeks our from his second surgery) took the order to PT and they were just as shocked at the situation as we were they had no idea where to start but knew he did not need PT persay but more like OT and he was given a very general brace and PT also knew he needed a better fit/support brace than what was given …. the man had a crushed hand just 4 weeks ago…. these were just a few concerns we had that kelsey felt were unnecessary to ask the doctor…Thank goodness we have an amazing workers comp advocate through his employer that got my husband into a place that will ensure his injuries are not taken lightly and get him on the road to a recovery that will allow him to get back to work safely. I cant help but feel like we were brushed over because this was a work related injury. My advice is if you have a traumatic work related injury and find yourself at this facility… do your research and follow up with a professional and patient focused orthopedic doctor/office that isnt going to treat you second class because of an accident that yes happened at work.
Gary Oneill: The office, the Dr's and staff are empathetic and thourough
Kathleen Wright: They were very concerned about my condition and very caring
Mary Jane Wallace: It was great, just a very long wait to be seen.
Michael Whipple: Extremely positive. I believe that the staff, including my, physician, after surgery PA and clinic nursing personnel are thoughtful, knowledgeable, friendly and caring.
charles Beal: Very good knowledge and caring for the patient. Well pleased and would recommend them to all
Sandra Clark: They have been so helpful with everything thing that I have gone through.
Brenda Beals: Going Dr
Dan Francis: Dr Feherenbacher had a full day of surgeries scheduled when I severed a tendon on my thumb. He was concerned about it retracting further up my arm if waited so he performed the surgery at 7pm and finished after 9pm that day. I could not be more thankful or impressed with his work ethic and dedication to his patients. Thank you Dr Feherenbacher!
Chastidy Carver: I couldn't ask for better Dr's, Nurses and receptionists. They are so loving caring..
Edition Sergey: Have been in multiple times with multiple injuries, every time the doctors tell me the injury is not that bad and too ice it, I refuse this answer, go to another doctor, and they tell me I need surgery to fix it. Would not recommend going here unless you want to be told nothing is wrong, waste money, and injure yourself some more!
Sharlae Murry: Longest wait time ever !
Khaleesi: Injured my knee to the point it gave out on me @ work & I could not walk!! Went to ER got a referral for OA. Called as soon as I got back home when I finally got through I was greeted by a very rude woman & when she found out I was self paid was even less concerned about getting an appointment. This was Friday afternoon. No return call. I call first thing Monday & as I’m on hold I get notifications I have an appointment for 2 weeks later. Morning of appointment I get a vm from them, I calk back asking for the woman that left a vm. another rude woman says she didn’t answer!! So she tells me she needed to go over their self pay policy. Ok. She tells me if I pay in full within 60 days a 25% discount. & then tells me they need a $300 deposit upfront. Now mind you this was supposed of been discussed BEFORE the appointment was made!!! 2 weeks prior!! I’ve been off work for 2 weeks bc of this & now she wants $300 for the dr to say hi to me? Thank you, no. I will find someone else!! Oh & btw I was rehabbing myself those 2 weeks. Got a hinged brace from Amazon for less than $30!!!
William Morris: Friendly staff, nice and clean waiting area. Dr.s explain in a manner that's understandable.
Jeff S: crowded lobbies slow service been here for 2 hours still ain't seen nobody no satisfaction whatsoever
Brigid Fitch: If you are on Medicare and still working or have other appointments, go elsewhere. You will be skipped over and wait for hours, and they cancel and reschedule constantly then get an attitude if you can't make the new appointment time that they choose without asking if it's OK.It's rather inconsiderate. I guess they assume people don't work, have other appointments, or need to coordinate getting to appointments? The doctors are great - it's the staff that's a problem. If you have a 9 a.m. appointment expect to wait for 3 or 4 hours while others with later appointments get moved to the head of the line.
Karoline Kahre: Very pleased with my experience!! Very friendly and professional. I was in a lot of pain they got me in and out in about an hour including xrays.

Orthopaedic Associates, Inc.: what do users think?
Roger Titzer: Erin listen to me explain what was going on and recomended an appropriate action plan.
DANNY FORSTON: He talked about all the different options that could be used to help with knee pain and listened to my opinion to what I thought would be the best one for me.
Louise Habermel: Very kind and smart Doctor.
Donna Windberg (Grandma): Staff were very attentive and prepared for questions, instructions and patience. As an elderly patient and not being able to walk very fast, their patience was appreciated
Van Brentlinger: Two knee replacements . Home same day. Rapid recovery. Very caring staff. Top notch educational component.
Carl Brooks (bbwizard95): Quick intake and the procedure was done simply and professionally. Down to earth doctor.
Jack Hamaker: This was a workers comp claim on my elbow and I feel he should have done a scan to check for damage. Instead he goes on what he thought. With the amount of pain that I had and for how long it went on just sounds like it needs to be scanned. You would think that workers comp would want this just so this isn't an on going problem for them . Not to mention I don't want to deal with it either.
Rose Whitledge: Polite, listen, gave me options.
Veronica Johnson: Dr. Whitacre has a caring and kind spirit. He puts his patients first and I was so comfortable working with him.
Kim Pflug: Dr Whitacre is compassionate and listens to my concerns
Sheri Williams: Orthopedic Associates, every office personal is exceptionally professional, and very helpful, and my god timely with loa things, they can do everything thing you need, and I mean Everything...The Doctors each have their own specialty they throughly make sure of your diagnosis and DO NOT push for you to have surgeries unless you absolutely, some practices are all about money, these guys and staff IT'S All ABOUT YOU!!! I see three of these physics, and just a FYI I work within surgery and I have seen each work, they know their stuff. !!! ,yes I had two surgeries. Love this practice.Sheri williamsEvansville In
Mary South: Always very helpful always concerned with my issues
Donna Hancock: Would highly recommend orthopedics associates and Dr. Emerson. Did a great job getting to my problem. Surgery and recovery was well managed. My knee is better than ever.
Janet McGuire: Great Dr. , great results!

Tri-State Orthopaedics: what do users think?
Kevin Smith: I highly recommend Dr Boyd to anyone needing knee surgery. He is a very caring and compassionate person.
Susan Hon: Don't go here they refused to see me after 5 times and did nothing. I am report this as fraud to my insurance...horrible place and rude don't waste your time
Diane Stefane: I have previous cares
Brooke James: Just want to thank your office for great care. Dr Lee worked me in at the last minute last week and was very professional. I am glad your office was available for a second opinion.
mike Moore: Fast service and very knowledgeable staff
Comilla Rice: The staff is friendly and Dr. Saltzman is friendly and talks you through the procedure he is performing on you in his office.Love Tri State Orthopaedics.
yvonne Warren: August 2022 I had a total knee replacement on my left knee things went good with that surgery recovery went good then February 2023 I had my right knee done had a total knee replacement everything's going good. Dr.Zach Hamby was amazing and did a great job he is very professional but down to earth Dr Hamby is the best I can't complain about anything he did a wonderful job I give them five stars. I was in severe pain with both knees wasn't planning on getting them both done but I had to and now I'm glad I did no pain nothing I mean I'm still in recovery my last surgery is just over a month ago so recovery is at least 3 months you have to let your muscles and everything inside heal. Thanks Tri-State orthopedics doctor Zach Hamby and his staff. Also they have the best Physical Therapy upstairs my physical therapist there was one I had first time in 2022 and then this time I asked for the same pt he is Casey Olsen I wouldn't be where I'm at without the great job that Dr Hamby(and John) did and my PT Casey Olsen. Thanks so much to the Dr and everyone involved and the staff at Tri-State Orthopedic Hospital.
Elizabeth Collins: Saw Dr. Daines today for the first time. Rude, curt, and horrific bedside manner. I did not feel listened to, nor respected. I work in healthcare and there is no excuse for this type of attitude. So disappointed with this doctor especially after working with Dr. Perry from Tri-state, who is one of the kindest doctors I have worked with. I won’t be back to see Dr. Daines. .
Rita Dunlap: Dr. BOYD … excellent surgeon for hip/ knee replacement.Has done both my hips 2014/ 2022… both knees of my husband ( 3 months apart)Hips of 3 of my husband’s cousins. We all get around without canes or walkers … we ranged in age 70 to 81at the time of our surgeries.HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. BOYD
Robert Young: I was treated by Dr. Perry for my hands and Dr. Alvey for my feet. Both outcomes were positive and I would highly recommend them.
Chris Lee: Tri-State Orthopaedics has a great facility with very professional staff. It is a very busy place but with an appointment you will get right in. The building is very clean and easy to access from Interstate 69. There is a large parking lot with plenty of parking available. They can treat anything from sports injuries, to accidental injuries, to normal wear and tear.
Jon Chapman: My Doctors help from Dr. Perry was the BEST I could have hoped for. Thank you Doc!
Ethan Scott: The doctors and nurses were fine but the people in medical records have done a terrible job getting my medical papers to my work place. Don’t recommend relying on them to fax and email papers.
Candi: I needed knee replacements at which I could barely walk without hurting. My Ortho doctor retired, and I was in need of another. That's when I was referred to Dr. Andrew Saltzman. He is a great doctor who cares about his patients. I have never had any problems with my knee replacements since surgery. I can walk, kneel, squat, which I thought I would never do without hurting. I'm pain-free and loving life .I would recommend Dr. Saltzman to anybody that's in need of surgery. You are in great hands with him.
Rainbowbritebear: No stars for Dr. Jason C. Very smart and knows what he’s doing, but Your a car payment to him and you will be treated as so. Just another payment for a toy he has or whatever his dig is, Not suggested to personable people. Not welcoming.
Randy Lampton: Made my 2nd time in 3 years they got me lined back out no limping walking straight and no surgery rehab was great 👍survived the docs joke 🤣
Caitlin Coyle: I will give a three star….for now with fingers crossed for improvement. I have experienced lower back pain for over a decade. In those years I have routinely participated in PT, chiropractic care, and acupuncture; as well as lumbar MRIs. He suggested repeating pt and the lumbar mri, when really a sacral/pelvis mri. After repeatedly stating I had a lumbar done in the last year, a pelvic mri was finally ordered. I stand up for my health care. As a patient, that is our right. I will cross my fingers that Dr. Wetzel will actually listen at my follow up appointment instead of trying to bully to what, appears to be a meek and uneducated female. And listen to an educated and experienced professional that only wants correct care to continue to care for my own patients. Everyone, please stand up for your healthcare needs.
Robert Rucker: My visit to Tri-State Orthopedics was good. My Appointment was set up' they had got me in pretty quick. My hand doctor treated me, Now I'm ready to go back to work... Thank you Dr Carter😀
Jeff Green: Had to go in and get Cortizone shots in both knees Dr. Hamby’s office and associates are the best very very courteous
Keith Gebhard: Doctor Timothy Hamby has basically given me my life back. Left hip 5 years ago, and both knees within the last 2 years. He and his team always answer my questions and never make me feel rushed. If I ever need orthopaedic care in the future, I will call Doctor Hamby.
Michael Stuckey: Went in to the Orthopedic Urgent care three days after Christmas.(no appt) I was moved through the process so quickly I couldn’t even get the paperwork completed. Dr Rensing was fantastic, he drained the injured knee, shot it with some medicine and had me on my way all in less than an hour. Including x-rays, full explanation of treatment options and answering questions. I hadn’t been to Orthopedic for at least 20 yrs but still had me in the system and was treated as one wants to be treated. Great experience under trying circumstances.

Tri-State Orthopaedics - Evansville West: what do users think?
Jeremiah Deal: Dr. Whitney was very professional and listened to what I had to say as a patient. He then took the time to explain the next steps in language that the patient can understand. A very good patient care taker experience.
Michelle Cravens: I had the best of care during my injury and recovery.
Gary Linton: Excellent staff at front desk. Friendly and helpful
Lenn Newcomb: The staff did a great job of setting my appointments and the surgery turned out excellent.I would definitely use them again
Cynthia Scott: Polite, addressed my issue all in a timely manner
Shelly Blodgett: Just had my first visit and I am very pleased to be working with Dr. Rensing. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and provided me with several options.
Joyce Flaherty: Dr. Johnson is awesome. Took care of my arm and was informative and nice.
Cob Edwards: Very professional and enjoyed the staff right to the point and concerned with my injury
Joyce Hoskinson: Wonderful people, they even let me come in early!
Denny Clobes: I was impressed with how efficient and professional the staff at Tri-State Orthopaedics West side office was.
Karen Nutt: Dr. Alvey is very professional and personable. He explained things thoroughly and was determined to make things better. The whole staff was efficient and attentive.
Tim Pike: Quick call back and professional bearings in all they do!
TIm Reagan: Outstanding care. A doctor that really listens to you. Would highly recommend.
Sarah D: I was seen for a surgical consult. The time I spent in the waiting room was about 25-30 minutes. There’s an urgent care next door so the wait was longer due to triage of others’ injuries. Once I was called to an exam room, X-ray of my back was requested and I had to change into athletic shorts. I had other images sent to their office several weeks beforehand to help facilitate this appointment. Once I returned to the exam room, my wait time exceeded an hour before I was seen by a physician. I was a bit annoyed by the wait time but I was understanding. Once Dr. Weinzapfel came in to examine me, he spent an hour with me. He explained my images in a way that I could understand, explained the surgery from start to finish, answered my questions, and even found some injuries that previous doctors have missed. He made me feel comfortable and safe while in his care. He straight told me what to expect once I get this surgery. Due to previous fractures in my lumbar, he has requested a CT scan to confirm proper healing. I would recommend him to anyone having back pain that injections are not helping. Just remember that there’s going to be a bit of a wait due to the urgent care next door. Bring a book. 😃
Jerry Wellmeyer: The doctors and rehab where excellent but the billing department I had problems with. I had to talk to billing customer service on billing issues without getting any help from them on extra charges with no billing statements before money withdrawn from account.I have had problems in past with billing department charge for stuff I never got from them.
Johnz Girl: Dr. Carter is da bomb!!!
Rebecca Mitchell: Appointment was on time. Questions answered to my satisfaction. Injection given easily. All wore masks.
Virgil Ratliff: I was very pleased that the doctor said that maybe something could be done with the pain in my neck. There were no garrentee that it would be pain free. I was asked if only part of it could be taken care of could I live with that. Yes, was the answer, any help was a 100 percent more than anyone else gave me.
Bryce Nunn: Always able to answer any questions you need and wouldn't go to anyone besides Dr. Brett Weinzapfel.
Lynda Anderson: Dr Carter explains why, how and it makes the experience easy .
Dolores Howard: Dr. Carter was a dream with my 99 year old aunt. So sweet, calm and gentle. The girls were all very kind with her, even when she had to have xrays and I couldn't be with her.
