Mets Mobility Transportation: what do users think?
mark fisher: Mets transportation center is a very nice place and have very nice workers there
Holly Haygood: This morning I had my first experience with public transit. And of course I expected it to go well. IT WAS HORRIBLE, ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I do not usually bother to post a review unless I have had a positive experience, I prefer to be positive. But this was such a bad experience that I am posting this review. I did not want to even post one star. If zero stars was available, that would have been my choice. However, I want to stress that the people I spoke with at Mets, when I called for guidance about the bus routes, I spoke to 2 men and 1 lady, and all three of them were totally awesome and helpful. They were very polite and completely helpful. And I very much appreciated their patience with me as this was all new for me. So having shared that, let me explain why I was so upset and leaving a review about my experience. Me and my child literally stood at 2 different bus stops this morning, trying to get the METS public transit bus to pick us up. At two different bus stops. And at both bus stops, the bus drivers, both were male, both driver's looked at us, and kept driving, very fast, right on by. The first one I even was waving my arm because he was driving so fast, I didn't see how he could actually be stopping to pick us up. He looked right at us and kept going. So we then walked down to a different bus stop, where another bus was scheduled to come by in 20 minutes. It was cold and windy. Again, the bus as it approached was driving so fast! I did not bother to wave this time. We were standing right at the bus stop. And the driver just sped on by. Both buses appeared to be driving well over the speed limit, but I if course have no way to verify if they were speeding or not. But neither bus cared to stop. I missed a very important appointment, which I ended up having to reschedule. My car is in the shop and this was my only experience with public transit. And it was extremely disappointing 😔😡😣😡
Cindy Phelps: I can get along with almost everyone however with one of the men and there are only 2 he is preventing me from going to my doctors appointments. My Doctor is aware of this problem and is pursuing every Avenue ti put a stop to him abusing me at 71 yrs i certainly do not deserve this no one does im quite sure im not the only one.I think this stems from way back when i was approved to use Mets Mobility he was putting me off and again and again he was delaying my eligibility .Then i called asked for the manager or the higher up if you will explained what was happening gave the name of Mr. Rude the man im speaking about that Day By Phone I was Approved.I was so happy i thanked him and thanked him.I hung up cried and cried. i will begin today to attempt to right this wrong that he is inflicting upon me.
Rose Schalkle: Drivers tells us that we have to put these masks over our nose and stuff.. They dont respect the fact that some people cant breath with the masks on and that some people have them down off their nose just so they can breath ... So i had 2 drivers tell me that i either put the mask roght or get off there bus ... Which i honestly think is really disrespectful and noncaring for peoples health
Kelly Fouse: Friendly. Informing. And even as busy as business can get., The employee I spoke with was very calm and managed to maintain very well.
tim vire: On sunday may 3rd 2020 at 140pm METS bus number 10 04 was going south on green river rd. At up to 45 miles per hour. Tailgating the car in front of it.How is this acceptable?
Right Like: Donald I just want to say how sorry I was to hear about you losing your little girl I hope you guys are doing OK I’ll pray for you and please pray for my boy and please call me are come over please if you wipe and son because of yourself a big hug please call me
Hannah Forys: I mean... it could be worse
Corey Fletcher: Horrible busing system, because customer service is ran by a one single guy who has the worst people skills and horrible customer service skills and no knowledge as to how their system works so it leaves you trying to figure out the complicated system on your own. They need someone more knowledgeable of the system answering the phones, that can actually assist people with planning their trips accurately and one who has people skills, that's accustomed to dealing with the public. I believe it has potential of being a great transit system if it had key people with proper knowledge to educate and inform its patrons. A bus Tracking system would help customer service give more accurate times and better route information to the general public calling in to plan a trip.
Wyett Thomas: They are the most STUPID AND UNCONSIDERATE PEOPLE ON THE PLANET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mets needs to be taken over by a new person fire almost everyone and hire new people🙄 My mom, my grandmother, and I were going out to a restaurant on mother's day and these people were a hour late, AND APPARENTLY WE CANT PUSH THE TIME FOR PICKUP BACK. Next time I'm telling them 2hours in advance. CONGRATULATIONS METS YOU REACHED A WHOLE NEW LEVEL OF STUPID¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
Andrea Kay Bushrod-Sebree: Really great drivers.
Jmaka Funk: Mets has a huge learning curve. The website is confusing and is not updated daily around all of the construction in downtown Evansville (or anywhere else. The map version of the route needs to show all street names the bus travels on. Instead I have to look at 2 different versions to figure out which bus to take, then call their office to confirm. I feel rushed and like a bother when I do call. A lot of inbound routes are different than outbound. The worst is that a lot of routes stop after 6 pm?!?! Walnut does not run after 6 and neither does Lynch. There are plenty of businesses with workers that have to ride the bus. That bus station is spooky. Do not make eye contact. Walk with your shoulders back and head held high and no one will test you. I need to attend a meeting to discuss my concerns I guess. We definitely need Sunday Service. But on a positive note, you can't beat $1 fare 😁
