Grady Yandell: I love home cooking at a reasonable price. Cracker Barrel in Evansville delivers on that premise. Great country store setting with a unique gift shop before you get to the person that seats you in the dining area. Holiday specials at Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Really good country fried steak with sides and more all years round. Check it out.Vegetarian options: They offer a vegetarian selection and their menu is available online. Check there before going.Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere for kids of any background. No discrimination or judgement.Parking: Plenty isn't a number but check online with Google Maps or Siri to see how busy they are or call ahead for pick up to go.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp, but no automatic doors. However, I've been there enough times that someone will be glad to assist you from the staff or customers walking in.Dietary restrictions: Mention them and research online. I read the menu and order. However my restrictions aren't the same as everyone else's. You can ask them online or call restaurant to be safe. I wouldn't want to waste your time.

Luke Murray: Not what it used to be..Cheddar’s used to be a great place to go. There was great food and great prices at that, however, the last few times I went were sub-par.. I strongly feel as if the food’s quality has gone down since the last time I went (ordering the Shrimp & Broccoli Alfredo), I got the food, where the shrimp were slightly cold, still had the tail where it made a slight hassle to eat, and broccoli was hard and most likely not cooked properly..Although the food wasn’t great.. service was surprisingly good for being slightly busy and for a party of 6, I would say go for it, but be wary of a possible downfall..

Rettig: What a shame. I usually love cracker barrel but this was really bad relative to them usually. The fries were abysmal, definitely microwaved from frozen, awful texture. The Mac n cheese was super bland; I have never had Mac n cheese that bad from cracker barrel before. Lastly, I got the Sunday homestyle chicken. I feel like it was frozen as well and it did not taste like it has in the best. First off, the chicken wasn't completely dry, but definitely the dryest I've had from a cracker barrely, the chicken wasn't even warm at all, it was colder than room temp. Lastly, the texture of the breading just felt like it was frozen.

Harvey: The food is always of great quality, the employees seem to enjoy what they do, and I have always loved seeing the decor they have at Cracker Barrel. You don't even have to eat to enjoy your time there as they have a gift shop in the front portion of the building and before you enter, they have touching chairs and even a jumbo size checkers board.

Chris Lee: This place has awesome breakfast. If you are too fancy this might not be your cup of tea. This has a sixties era diner feel to it. The place is not large at all. It is very comfortable and you do not need to get fancied up to eat here just come as you are. The staff are very friendly. The food will come out quickly hot and fresh. Plenty of parking in the back.

Destiny Folsom: I really enjoy their food and soda my two boys, which are 10 years old & 2 years old.Service/Servers and the workers are always nice and really sweet to the kids as well, sometimes just sometimes and it happens to everyone myself as well when I was a server so I'm by far not complaining we still go back never once have I gotten upset. Chris Shimboff: I have been to this restaurant 3 times now to gauge their food and service. I ordered 3 different meals and have had 3 different waitresses all 3 times. The food was okay. I did feel there were a few things that they took pride in, but I feel there is far too many cans being opened to complete meals. That's a shame, because it really negates the things they do work hard on. Customer service was fantastic. I can honestly say, the waitresses I ended up with, were all consistently knowledgeable and friendly. Yes, I know it's in the name... but how many times have you ever gone to Burger King to see the king? Pffff!Anyway, all jokes aside... great place with a great atmosphere.. foods not bad. Great experience overall for me.
