Alex Pederson: I drove over 2 hours to pick up a couch I’ve had my eye on but haven’t been able to find in any stores. Jamie was able to confirm over the phone the couch was in stock and able to be brought home the same day. Smooth & easy transaction. Very personable! Also, there were several guys who helped load up the couch into the trailer I brought so I didn’t have to worry about loading myself. 10/10 experience.

Kristal Fark: If I could leave a zero star review I would. My fiancé and I purchased a living room set and a bedroom suite. I called early last week to see if the mattress that we purchased with our bedroom suite was available. (We wanted it for our camper since it was such a great mattress for us) I was told by the lady on the phone that she did in fact have one. I had her hold it for me until my fiancé picked it up on Wednesday. He then took it to our camper. We didn’t notice until Friday when we went to stay at our camp that it was not the correct mattress. We have an Ashley Chime hybrid mattress (firm)and on Wednesday we were sold an Ashley Sierra Sleep mattress(soft). Saturday I made a call and spoke with the same lady from earlier in the week. We were told that she had made a mistake and sold us a different mattress. She stated that they could not order the Ashley Chime mattress due to covid-19 and did not know when they would be available. She told us that if we brought the unused mattress back on Monday that we would receive a refund and they would use it as a floor model. Monday my fiancé received a call that they would not honor the refund. That they ordered a replacement and would give us store credit for the remainder of the cost difference. I had already ordered an Ashley Chime mattress off of Ashley furnitures website on Saturday when I was told that Anderson Furniture could not get one due to covid -19 I did this with the knowledge that I would receive a refund as I was told on Saturday. We had to sell the incorrect mattress for a loss. It is a shame since we try to support local business, but we (and our friends and family) will never purchase another item from Anderson Furniture. Response: It was not the mattress that was ordered. Of course it would be the same on the receipt if we were sold the wrong mattress. And it was definitely the wrong mattress.

Bobbie: While looking at refrigerators the store staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. When I had my heart set on a fridge they didn't have in stock they assured me they could order and get it. However, after looking around there and other places decided on a different fridge they did have in stock although I opted to get a brand new one instead. The men delivering my new fridge and taking out my old one were very nice and provided options when finding out the hose line to water/ice maker ordered with the fridge was too short.

While no cheaper than the big box store they did match all the promotions, and if there are any issues at delivery they will help. The big box stores you are stuck dealing with the delivery company from Indianapolis.We had a couple minor issues on each delivery but they were rectified to our satisfaction.

Karen Schmitt: The sales associate, Elise, was extremely rude. When I arrived she was seated, gets up and I asked if I needed assistance, I said Yes! I wanted to purchase a reclining sofa. Instead of asking if she could show me the sofa’s she stood on the other side of the showroom and attempted to point at the couches that reclined. I was not able to see what couches she was referring to so I asked again…. Then her voice changed and became very condescending!! She she pranced around and touched every reclining couch which was helpful. She was no longer interested in assisting me and went somewhere to talk with someone in the back of the showroom, not a customer. I asked if the couch was in stock and she did go to the computer and told me it would be 6-8 weeks to arrive. I asked if I could purchase the floor model and she became downright rude. I ended up purchasing the couch however, I asked for the Manager and she said she was the Manager. I asked again for her Manager and she reluctantly gave me a number(the store number) and wrote JT on the piece of paper she gave me. I am afraid she will sabotage my purchase. It is truly ashame there are such incredibly rude people in your showroom!!! I would like a call, you have my cell phone number

This exceeded my expectations and will be coming back again in future.I hope I get as lucky to have somone like Elise help me next time too! Luigi Del: This is an update to my previous negative review of American Freight. I purchased the couch from an FFO store before American freight acquired them. When I tried to have the warranty plan repair the broken springs in the couch, the store was then owned by American Freight and the sales representatives there did not have correct info on how to submit a warranty claim for customers who purchased items when they were FFO. Angie from the Louisville American Freight office offered the choice to have the couch repaired or a store credit in the amount of the original purchase tax and warranty included. That’s all a customer could ask for, American Freight is a company that honors their agreements.

We were able to use our warranty with no problems other than Elise gave us the wrong information about what to do with our current couch. She said we would need to bring it in in order to receive our replacement. Once we loaded up our old couch I called American freight to give a heads up we were on our way and to ask what to do with the old couch. Courtney was very professional and explained we did not need to bring in the old couch to receive our new one but she would take care of old couch since we already had it loaded and on our way. She made getting our new replacement couch very easy and seamless. This however will not prevent us from going back in the future!
