Firefly Coffee House: what do users think?
Melissa Nickerson: I went here to order a coffee and sit outside with my service dog and they wouldn’t allow me in to order because he wasn’t wearing a vest (which is obviously not required by law). Never have been turned down before in my life and have been to this location before for coffee and dog treats with the same dog. Definitely bummed it was this place because I liked it a lot :(.
Paul Fager: Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Caitlin Fox: So cozy and inviting! This is what I mean when I say that Fort Wayne is a city that feels like a small town. The coffee was delicious, I got a raspberry cream latte and smooth and well made.I also got a half sandwich, a cheese toasty on sourdough focaccia and a cup of their curried butternut squash soup which was absolutely wonderful. My boyfriend got a breakfast sandwich and he loved it, the slices of bacon were so thick! The best part of all though? The baristas! A good coffee house has yummy coffee, a great coffee house has baristas who are actually nice to you! It was extremely busy when we went and not only were they moving through the line quickly, they were so friendly and created a very welcoming atmosphere. I will be back because of that alone.
christina robey: First time here. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will be coming back.
Justice Bwr: Cute place! Wish there was more space indoors but when the weather gets better the outdoor space will get more useable.
Emily Slabaugh: Such a great choice shop! Loved it!Vegetarian options: I'm a vegetarian and had an easy time finding food to eat!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Croissant …More
Ktty: Loove this place. Coffee cake makes me go om nom nomVegetarian options: Vegan pastry options
August Yingling: Firefly Coffee House is a hidden gem of a coffee shop that offers a unique vibe and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is cozy and eclectic, with plenty of comfy seating and quirky artwork to catch your eye.But what really sets Firefly Coffee House apart is the staff. They are incredibly friendly and always happy to chat with customers and make them feel at home. Plus, the shop is proudly queer-friendly, making it a safe and inclusive space for all.As for the coffee, it's delicious and expertly prepared. From classic drip coffee to more elaborate espresso drinks, the baristas know their stuff and take pride in serving up the perfect cup every time. They also offer a nice selection of pastries and light bites to accompany your drink.Overall, if you're looking for a cozy and welcoming coffee shop with great coffee and a friendly staff, Firefly Coffee House is definitely worth a visit.
David Oh: Best coffee in town, according to my friend
Amber Stephenson: What a wonderful group of people, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I ordered a spiced chai and was chatting with the cashier taking my order about how I had such a bad day the day prior, he was sympathetic and talked to me about it. Then when I finished ordering and was waiting for my order he brought me out a muffin to make my day better saying I hope you have a great day today! What a welcome breath of fresh air that was, if you need a coffee or a good chat this is the place to visit! Thank you Firefly for making my day awesome!Parking: Parking was convenient, short walk to the door.
Pat Dax: The food & atmosphere are good for this "tiny place" that caters mostly to 'Business & College people.' As for a place to meet new people & chat "this is not it" & be careful if you do speak to other patrons, apparently the manager prefers people keep to themselves & mind their own business! There are other similar places around town that are more open & less constrictive.
Pamela Dipzinski: The employees are always so friendly and helpful. The beverages are always great. I enjoy the pastries, as well. This is my go to place for coffee in Fort Wayne. I highly recommend this place.Recommended dishes Crustless Quiche, Roasted Chicken Salad Sandwich, Coffee Cake, Banana Bread …More

Rindy Schlatter: They still have the zebra mocha on their menu from when I went in the late 90s/early 00s. I just ordered a smooth Americano and the egg salad on croissant, very good & classic. The vibe is still 90s coffee shop, I got all the nostalgic feels.
Jesse: The raspberry and cream latte was amazing! The ham sandwich was fairly good too. Staff was friendly, very busy but cute place.
Spyce: This place is friggin yummy

Black Forest Cat Café: what do users think?
Brent Chester: Had a Chai latte and saw some cats. What else do you need. Stop in.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Melissa Turner: Kid-friendliness: I brought my 9 year old granddaughter and she absolutely loved being able to interact with the cats. We also loved being able to watch them while we ate. The pictures of all the previously adopted cats was heartwarming for us both.
anneth miramontes: They have plenty of coffee and tea options to choose from. They also have pastries too. Of course the main highlight is the kitties hanging out in their room. We didn’t know you have to reserve time to hangout with the babies. Next time we go there we’ll be prepared. The cats are available for adoption and over 240+ kitties have found a furever home. What an amazing place!
Tina Carlson: A great place to visit, even if you aren’t looking to adopt at this time. The staff are friendly, the snacks are tasty, and it is fun to hang out with the very chill cats in the room.
Wendy Smith: I love cats and coffee, so this was the purr-fect place to love on some cats and enjoy a coffee. The cats were hiding in different places so it was fun trying to find their hiding spots. Be warned...you may end up adopting!
Elaine Jones: I wanted to adopt all the cats. They were the greatest.
Marissa Stevens: It’s obvious they truly care for the cats. Cats seemed to have plenty of places to play and nap. The cat lounge was clean and spacious.Coffee was some of the best I’ve had.
Brennan Doud: My daughter and I had a great time playing with the cats! All the cats were very friendly, and we were confident they were happy and well taken care of. As a bonus, the coffee was delicious!Dietary restrictions accommodated Not sure …More
Victoria Chetty: This is such a cute little coffee shop. In full transparency, I am not a coffee shop/bakery connoisseur. But the service was helpful and cheerful. The chocolate chip cookie and cupcake were actually quite scrumptious. And, of course, what the café is known for -- helping animals find forever homes is heartwarming. Unfortunately, I can't speak to the background check process to ensure the cats are being placed in good homes, but I trust they're doing their due diligence. It would be wonderful if more for-profit businesses incorporated these kinds of services to the community.
Lori W: My son and I visited and loved it. Even put in an adoption request for one. Fingers crossed! Sad there were only 6 to play with but very happy that there was 6 because that meant the others found their forever homes!
Michael Kopang: Great place and atmosphere. The animals are well cared for and are regularly adopted out so it's rare to see the same cat twice.
Amber Ferry: Such a well thought out concept. Our family enjoyed spending time with the cats, and everything from the cafe was delicious! The price point at the cafe is more than reasonable. The staff is super friendly
Tonya Perry: It's just so fun here! The cat room is clean and doesn't smell bad at all! The prices are very reasonable and everyone is very friendly. We love it here!
humnie humn: Cats, fresh pastries, yummy coffee, very nice employees :)
Sarah Fear: Very clean space and my son loved the experience!
Pepper Bromelmeier: The staff was great! It's also wonderful how the cats get to roam around rather than be in a cage. They were even playing music. (Good coffee and cookies, too!)
Kayla Lorenzo: The cats are super friendly and the drinks are tasty. It was a great date spot.
Ethel Skidmore: Loved it!!!
Samantha: The cat cafe is such a fun experience and a great way to support cats waiting for their forever homes. I love all the decor and the staff were very friendly. Make sure to arrive early if you want to enjoy some food before your scheduled time in the cat room. Our coffee drinks were also tasty!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ky Bean: Adoptable kitties were so well-behaved and the cupcake and chai latte I had was amazing! Cute cafe all around and friendly staff. 5 Stars!

James Colegrove: Will not be returning, three times visiting, still no hotdogs!
Paul Fox: Kim and Crew are a solid and amazing team of people. I never feel irrelevant or dismissed, or even rushed despite how busy it gets. Kim and the team she works with are a real value to your company and deserve both financial compensation and professional recognition. I implore Sam’s Club to do both.

Anastasia's Café: what do users think?
Cole Garland: One of the best secrets in Fort Wayne to stop and grab breakfast or lunch. Every single item on the menu is great!!
Patricia Johnston: EXTREMELY rude service. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Emma Adams: Wonderful food! I had the chicken salad on honey berry wheat bread and pasta salad, both awesome!
edlovesmaine: Great service! Greek salad very good, the baked cookies are great, and I usually get the turkey on sliced wheatberry bread and it's always good with fresh bread, tomatoes and lettuce. There are tables for indoor eating, the atmosphere is relaxing.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Michael Horton: Great local cafe. Food is creative, and the soups are always outstanding.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
J B: My first visit I paid cash and ordered the 1/2 BLT and 1/2 Greek Salad. The BLT was good and the Greek Salad was okay.My second and last visit I paid with a card. I ordered the full BLT. I do not leave tips for take-out orders and once the cashier realized this, she informed the male employee working in the kitchen. The entitlement turned me off and I do not plan on returning. If I was served at a table, then yes I would've have left a tip. Tipping is a personal decision and has it's place, but not for taking an order.I can get better food for less and not get attitude somewhere else.
Blake Nicolas: Club was delicious. I also loved the German Savoy soup of the day. Great spot for lunch.
christina Ford: Great soups and sandwiches. Very friendly staff and fun shop. I will definitely go back soon!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Sara T: I loved this little Cafe. I had the special a grilled cheese and it was so good. Maybe the best grilled cheese I have ever had. The staff was so nice and it was very clean. The atmosphere is very nice. Loved it and can not wait to go again.
Mike Clark: Stopped in for soup and sandwiches. Grilled cheese with tomato soup and the Philly with chicken noodle. Both were fabulous! Will definitely stop back in when we're in the area.
Jena Guntle: Loved this place since I was a kid. They make the best sandwiches.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Serena Marczak: quiche portions are super small. I think a child would still be hungry with 2 little pieces of baguette and part of a Mandarin orange. So do not order if you are very hungry.Soups are tasty, hard to go wrong ordering the soup. They have monthly options and sometimes run out early of the more popular ones. They have a good variety of sandwich and salads. I don't get the concept of having a bread side with your sandwhich. Especially with the bread being very thick..? The quality of the food is good. It is a bit pricey given portion sizes.May go back for a bowl of soup.
Pam Gielow: Great food, wonderful atmosphere and attentive staff.
Donna Stucker: Very friendly and accommodating staff. The food and coffee were yummy.
Ivy annonymous: Business must be great! They complained in the back when we came in at 2:45 pm before they closed at 3….even though our order was to be a to-go order. Lady taking orders let us know she wasn’t happy we were there either. F this place, we won’t be back.
Linda: Good sandwich choices. They have a soup of the day and the bakery items are very tasty. This is just a great place for lunch!
Nancy Rager: Love, Love the soup and sandwiches!!!
karen whittaker: Had a veggie wrap.. Omg great!! friendly people.....
Eric Stuczynski: Hidden gem on the southwest side of Fort Wayne. Service and food are always on point!
SYWYRD: One star for concept and two for speed of service. The lady who greeted me at the front wasn't particularly friendly. And she wasn't happy to hear me asking about oat or almond for my chai...Which came out as a poorly mixed drink with the tea syrup collected at the bottom. Why brand yourself as a cafe when you don't and don't want to do that well?Alternative options are standard now for any place that routinely takes a lot of orders. The pastries looked nice, but day old at least. The dull glaze on them . Dry flakiness. The venue has poor lighting, so anyone working on a screen should be faced one direction generally. There is an easily visible wifi password at the entrance for customers.Amongst the 8-10 small tables, 3 were dirty as I looked for one, and most of the objects around showed a fine layer of dust. The counter is so layered in "product" it's not getting wiped properly and some items are so dusty they look outdated as a result.I will say the Spinache Florentine was a good start, but had no gruyere flavor I was expecting. Likely microwaved, it was quite hot in the middle and cool on the edge The quiche crust was pretty flaky, but the plating was a joke. They peeled a cutie, sat it on a tiny lettuce leaf and gave me two 1" slices of dry bread with a single tinfoil packet margarine.I can tell that this is a mom and pop shop, and I do really wish them well, but with a tucked away storefront, a less than friendly shop, and "sorta ok I guess food" I hope they'll continue to get the chance to continue to improve.
Gordon Londini: Visited Anastasia's again for lunch. The place is straight up Boutique and the menu doesn't change a lot. You can also purchase teas, gifts, and baskets here. I got a club sandwich this time and really enjoyed it. Anastasia's is an amazing little place along west jefferson. They have amazing sandwiches, unique salads, and in general a good selection of great food. The desserts and cookies are good too. I highly recommend!
