Park Place Senior Living: what do users think?
Megan Dolinski: I absolutely love working here! The residents and staff are amazing!
Amy Hoffmeier: My Dad was being moved to Rehab and I stopped at the wrong facility. The girl at the front desk tried to be helpful and had to go ask her boss for assistance. The female who came out of the Office Manager's office was rude ! I explained to her the situation and she said "Oh you must be looking for Ashton Creek". We are Park Place Senior Living like it says on the big sign out front". Yes they have a big sign out front that says the name of their business but you cannot read it when you are driving into the drive, you have to be directly in front of the facility to read it.I hope that the rest of the staff is not as RUDE as this employee was !
Kurt Wheeler: I have received two text messages from Megan regarding senior living. She starts out her text by saying "hey".How unprofessional.
Stoneyyy Flo: Good place to work wrong people running it , the executive director plays both sides she never helps any department other than nursing. The dietary staff all look broke down and wore out . The residents are sweet and loving .
Ron Timmons: It's a nice place. However, admin staff needs trained better and there is a disconnect between corporate and staff. They don't do what other places do for veterans. I really wanted to give them a 1 star but it's unfair to other people who work there that may do a good job. It is well kept up and nice place. It's just admissions is a nightmare. Their response after my one star rating was simply to post a message on here saying contact them. They could have picked up the phone and called us to see what the issues were. There are V.A. benefits available for disabled war veterans which they did not want to address they were just about getting the money and robbing the blind and disabled. As for contacting them I did call and voiced my concerns they were to call me back and guess what? No call back and my disabled father who was wounded in the Korean war left out in the cold as they gave the apartment he was to rent to someone else. No respect for our veterans. All of my concerns about this facility have been voiced to local state representative and senators through email.
Traditions at Solana Assisted Living: It's a great community to work at! Superior leadership team! Proud to be apart of this team!!
Brock Watters: Was there for my grandfather's 92 birthday and was very impressed with the staff and faculty. New and clean with friendly helpful staff. Grandfather is happy and healthy.
Beth Lewis: Mom was reluctant to move there initially. However after the first week she told me she really liked it there. It's a beautiful newer facility with extremely nice employees. She can eat in the dining room on her schedule, it's like a restaurant. The food is good. They provide all kinds of activities and outings which my mom doesn't always take advantage of because she forgets. But the activity director makes an effort to come to her room to see if she wants to join in the activities,The food service department has called her room before to see if she is coming down to eat. This year we went on vacation for 2 weeks and it's the first time I wasn't concerned about her getting her medication/insulin as needed. Having her in such a nice place with such great care has really helped not only her, but given me much more freedom in my own life.
JANELLE HAFFNER: I have one parent in assisted living and one in memory care. I am very happy with the care both parents are getting; staff are friendly whether it's the nurses, aides, housekeeping, etc. They communicate via phone if prescriptions are getting low or if any issues arise. It's always clean there and parents like the meals. Transportation is provided to some appointments, weekly outings and shopping are provided and prices were competitive with other facilities I contacted.I'm an RN and we can be notoriously difficult to please regarding health care, but I seriously have only good things to say about Park Place.

Brookdale Fort Wayne: what do users think?
Navoria James: Working for the waters of fort wayne, I work with brookdale frequently. Recently sent a resident there for memory care and the family came back to tell me that they are very happy with the care their mom is receiving! Family reports that everyone is very nice and have the resident's best interest at heart!
Dennis Spangler: Patti is great and so helpful and cares about her residence and their well-being. The staff is great too and all seem to care about the residents. We are blessed to find a place like Brookdale that is so caring and helpful.
Joe Ortolani: Run... Go to Merrill Gardens!!
Khalid Khan: What a beautiful, holiday filled building. Walking in makes you feel like a home. Patti, the admin, is a special person. Susan and Angie are amazing at nursing. I highly recommend this building.
Ryan Howe: I was very impressed with the tour given by Carol. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. The building was clean and the staff was friendly too.
Jenna Rupp: We are so pleased with Brookdale! The staff is accommodating and helpful. They are kind and patient and most importantly, my mother-in-law is at ease with all of them. Over the past years, due to Alzheimer's, my mother-in-law had become quite reclusive and withdrawn. However, since moving her into Brookdale at the end of July, she has made friends and seems so much happier. We highly recommend Brookdale!
Kristine Taylor: I've removed post as steps have been taken to correct my complaint.
Julia Graber: My parents have been at Brookdale for 8 months. They are still messing up their medications and they often skip medications because they can't seem to figure out how to call in refills. I have had to call the pharmacy several times to get the refills sent over. We have discussed this in length with the staff and nothing changes. They keep making excuses but it is effecting my parents " Quality " of life. One positive note, the Activity Director, Molly, is amazing!
Marilyn Dominy: I found all of the staff from the front to the back to be very caring and attentive to the patients and the families. They worked with me in a very difficult and timely manner. From what I could tell from my twice weekly or more visits the other patients were also well cared for and as happy as they could be. My husband was in Memory Care but I walked thru the entire building. He was there from April from 2016 thru Nov. 2016.
Brenda Thomas: I had Guardianship of my mother for six year, I'm sure she had issues prior to that; at least a couple of years. We had to move her 4 times during the six year, because she was not welcome back, due to behavior issues!!! Even when you check the places out, sometime, trust me they were not capable of taking care of your Mom! They do not know how to handle the behavior issues, Well we found Brookdale & she lived there for two years " longest" & never had issue with the behavior. They just knew how to take care of someone with Dementia. They knew how to deal with her, they are the best & I'd recommend them to anyone, everyone I know!!! Thank you Cathy, Cindi Jen, Angie, Rich and All of the staff @ Brookdale, God Bless you; you are the best!!

BrightStar Senior Living of Fort Wayne: what do users think?
kayla wisner: Being a mother is my main job, and the way brightstar includes family in EVERYTHING, is so warming. My daughter absolutely loves coming to all the events and coming to work with mommy from time to time. The campus as a whole isn’t huge like other facilities, so the staff truly knows eachother and we are a family.
Alexa Tackett: I recently visited BrightStar during their open house with the new Executive Director, Gabriella Bach. I was immediately greated by a warm welcome from the staff.During my visit, I had the opportunity to take a tour. The Brightstar building is hands-down phenomenal.
Amber Linthicum: I have been working at this beautiful facility for almost 10 months now! The atmosphere is so welcoming and they treat you like you're part of one big family! Brightstar cares deeply for our community and we all take pride in the care that we are giving! Brightstar is the best place to live and work!
Leiaysia Williams: Great place to work and live!!
Audra Martin: such a sweet homey place. much love spread around :)
Nessa Gurl: This facility is very clean, homey, and smells really good. I had a tour of this facility and I would consider to bring you’re family here. The CNA Evelyn that showed me around was very helpful, she told me the processes of a normal day for the residents. I would highly recommend working with Brightstar for your families.
Gabriella Bach: I have been following the community for about a year and a half now on Facebook. I loved seeing the posts and active engagement towards the community, residents, staff and family members. After touring and seeing the building in person, I fell in love with the company standards and promise words - Joy, Dignity, Connection, Beauty & Individuality 3 I am blessed to be apart of such an amazing community.
Evelyn Nevarez: Enjoying being a care giver here. One of the best places I’ve worked at. Very clean & well maintained! Our ED is very professional, helpful and easy to work with. Friendly staff.
Lucas Gardner: Looking forward to a potential partnership. Thankful for prompt communication and professionalism in the admin team!
Nancy Vasquez: We moved my mom there from the hospital to this community (nursing home) they are so caring and loving to her and she is in the memory care part!! We love everything about this place and she does also!! I feel she is safe and well cared for there something that we just couldn’t provide for her at home anymore! 💜💜
O Corey amerigod: Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the lord my soul to keep, if I shall pass before I wake. I pray the lord that I will stay here in this place. It is so beautiful and enlightning and it reaches from the inside outward. 🆗on the inside, the most beautiful part of it is the RESIDENTS that stay here. they are so sweet all of them. the scenery within is of magnificent stellar. it's just b e a u t i f u l:it's like living in a mansion with all the extra amenities; with more rooms than you can see.🙈very spacious, smells good, looks good, feels good, so it is all GOOD. 😁the people that work there are of upper standards: they have to be, because the residents there are also that as well.from the outside it is of utmost splendor. to see that it was built not too long ago, and it has a nice classic feel. something like a nice cottage off the water somewhere in the valley. comes with beautiful greeneries outside, nice fresh air, and very enriching scenic views from all angles. a place of home, a place that you would call home, a place that you would like to go home to: at least I would one day if need be. 🙏🏽👌🏽😉😊I would like to be here in care with others. Just know where to send me when it's my time of need. be it will or be it might, I pray to God that I will take flight. if my family doesn't have me or a close love one or so, then just send me on out here...then I'll make it the rest of the way home. GLORY! ❤️
Lisa Andreas: We needed help - fast - to find a facility able to address unique needs for my mother and father in law. Her needs were different than his. Her timeline different than his. BrightStar was very prompt in meeting our requests and questions and worked with us to settle both of them within the week in the best option we found anywhere in our search. The staff has been very caring and supportive during transitions and also during the subsequent end of life stages for one of them and grieving for the other. The facility is beautiful and my "foodie" family describes the meals as "superb." Some family members are out of state and assistance is given connecting via virtual platforms. BrightStar has been an answer to prayer for us.
Beth Feichter: I moved my mother into BrightStar at the end of September 2020. As soon as I wheeled her into her room, she loved it. As I watched the interaction between the staff and residents during meals and in the common areas, I was so pleased. They were truly caring. The meals were served hot (not just warm) and were delicious. Between the facility staff and her team with Heartland Hospice, she received superb support. My mother passed away a month after she moved in, but she had the best care that last month than what she had received in a previous facility. I would highly recommend BrightStar to anyone that needs to move their loved one to a senior living facility.
Kathleen Miller: Just wanted to let you know how pleased our family is with BrightStar and how very caring they are with my brother Tom who seems very very happy there.
Maureen Cutrell: I have a very special Uncle living at Brightstar Senior Living of Fort Wayne. We had a Family reunion including his brother, sister, his children and many nieces and nephews at Brightstar in November. The staff was AMAZING!! The kitchen staff prepared a delicious lunch for us, and we also had a catered dinner in one of the dining rooms. The staff could not have been any more wonderful! The care my Uncle received while we were there was top-notch. Good-byes are very difficult, but we headed back to PA knowing that he is in very caring and capable hands. Until we meet again, "Thank You Brightstar for providing a beautiful home for my Uncle."
Kristine Havrilla: My uncle Tom lives here and I recently visited him and had a wonderful experience. They provided an amazing lunch for our family and the food was delicious. I could not get over how friendly the staff was and how beautiful the facility is. This is a wonderful place for my uncle to be. Thank you for taking such good care of him.❤️
Molly Feely: Brightstar staff are very caring, attentive and easily available to help residents. The environment is lovely, new and comfortable. I was most grateful to see my Uncle so pleased and well adjusted into his new home at Brightstar. 👍🏼
Pat Feely: Moving our Dad to BrightStar Senior Living was the best decision we ever made!! The facility is clean as a whistle and the food is made with fresh ingredients every day, no canned vegetables. The entire staff treats our Dad like he is a member of their own family. They are so respectful, caring and kind to him, which is all we want for him!!
Mike Feely: We moved my father from another senior living facility off of Diebold rd to Brightstar and there is NO COMPARISON. He is not only cared for better, but have actually encouraged him to participate in activities (which he normally would not do). The food is custom made by the inhouse chef "Fred", and the staff knows my dad by name and not just a "resident". I was very unsure how my dad would handle the move, but I was surprised how well he handled it based on the personal care he has received. Brightstar is worth every penny!!!!!
mary carol sowar: BrightStar has been a blessing for our family! The staff could not be more kind and compassionate and they truly care about their residents! The facility is beautifully appointed, extremely clean and brand new. Chef Fred does a fabulous job as well!We could not be happier with the care our Dad is receiving!

Cedar Ridge of Fort Wayne: what do users think?
Kirk Watson: You have the best, friendliest staff I have ever met. Really was happy to find this facility.
Allen Meyer: We loved cedar Ridge! They gave my father wonderful care. Very attentive and a very family like setting. Clean and many activities. My father was in memory care and not the easiest of patients. They were so kind and caring. All my siblings were grateful to them. Jannette Meyer
Judy Geffen: The facility has a caring staff and the administrators have all been helpful, supportive, and responsive to our needs. I feel that my family member is safe and well cared for, there.
Deb Berg: I can't say enough good about Cedar Ridge. They were very helpful in every situation. The nurse, Samantha treated me like I was her own family and went way out of her way and beyond the call of duty to help me figure things out. The staff were all friendly and met all of our needs. It was what every family should experience if and when the time comes that they have to place a loved one in such a place as this
Diannehansen Hansen: In the last 6 months many changes have happened at cedar Ridge Fort Wayne and not for the good. My mother got gangrene of her foot and received no care for it. Nor did any family member receive any notification of the issue. She suffered a terrible death due to this clear negligence on the part of upper management . We received no apologies or voiced concerns that this happened under their care. Choose wisely when looking for a place for your family member.
Tina Davis: My Mother has been a resident of Cedar Ridge for 5 years. We have seen a lot of changes through the years, but the most important thing that does not change is how caring the staff and caregivers are. I love that Cedar Ridge has a 24/7 nurses station, Lynn is amazing. The administrative staff is always attentive to my concerns and needs and very quick to respond to them. No place is perfect, but as long as my Mom is happy and well taken care of I am all in.
Connie petty: I'm a volunteer and find it very rewarding and the staff is very friendly and always helpful to the residence and volunteers. The residents feel like it's like home and family.Anita Geier another volunteer said when she gets to the point that she needs an assisted living she wants to be at Apple Ridge.
Renee: I love working here! Wonderful residents and staff.
danart11811: Apple Ridge is a lovely place for your loved one. The residents are allowed more freedom compared to some other facilities. Clearly, the caregivers enjoy their work and the residents. You can trust that your loved one will be well-cared for and happy.Apple Ridge is affordable. They also have many friendly volunteers who keep activities fun and festive!
Fran: After a misunderstanding. We finally got my sister moved into Apple Ridge. She absolutely loves it.We are very happy she finally got to move in.
Dawn Parkison: My dad has been resident there over a year now. Wonderful caring staff. I would recommend it to everyone.07 /16 /19I just placed dad in Apple ridge memory care. I am pleased with care. He has hygiene issues as well as memory problems. He looks wonderful every time I go there. The CNA's are great.. They as well as several nurses agree he needs to be there. I struggled for several weeks over this decision to move him but decided it was best for himThe head nurse for this unit notified me she wanted a meeting. Administration and social services. The head nurse wanted me to move him back to assisted living. Said he didn't qualify for memory care. I spoke with administrator and social worker several times before move and they were supportive. Now they telling me it not a secured unit ( doors have coded entrance pad) and they not responsible if he leaves because alarm only rings 15 seconds.makes no sense to me. Dad keep telling this nurse he going to elope ( he said this every time he placed some where) that why I put him there. Been there 9 days and not tried anything but this nurse kept pushing for dad to leave her unit. He friendly and not violent. Now I have to find other place 😣. Too bad really like this place.
Sandy Uptgraft: My Dad LOVES it at Apple Ridge Assisted Living. It’s a beautiful facility where the staff treat him like family, he loves the food and they have lots of fun activities. Apple Ridge is definitely Fort Wayne’s best kept secret!
Keyona Scott: Apple Ridge is the best place ever it’s clean, nice great staff great residents 🙂
Resa Baby: It’s a very beautiful place the workers are really like family members to the residents. Your greeted as soon as you walk in ,someone is willing and ready to help you. There is absolutely no better place to have your loved one!
Diana Slate: Very clean,friendly staff.
crystal johnson: If you are looking for a place for your loved one this is one of the best in the city!
Ryan Howe: The reviews that are 1 star are referring to the nursing home that is connected to our assisted living but we are two separate companies! We are Apple Ridge and they are Woodview. That's why one of the reviews talking about it stinking and not looking like the pictures presented was mistaken for the Assisted Living. This is irritating for us as a company because we are NOT affiliated AT ALL! Please do not review us for them! The newest review of the fruit basket once again has to do with them and not us!
k Y: Went to give a fruit basket to someone and the staff didn't seem to care about giving me directions to the room. Spent 30 min looking around and when I saw an employee to ask for directions they got upset for me interrupting their phone time. Talked to at least 4 people that live their and asked what they think, and none of them had anything good about it. One guy said that it was definitely not home. Talk about spending your last days at the worst place possible.
Larry Rutherford: Larry Rutherford is the best Worker in the United States. He loves the residents and never gets on his phone while drying dishes
Hajrudina sakanovic: This property does not even look like this inside. Very filthy and smells horrible. Please look at this facilty before putting your loved one!

Kristi Bennett: I started here in June and absolutely love being part of a great team. I enjoy not only getting to know our residents, but to also get to know families that come in to visit. This is the best decision I made when I took the position and joining such an amazing team.
Kim Hallenbeck: Coventry Meadows Assisted Living is one the best places I’ve had the privilege to work! The atmosphere is fun and inviting. The residents and staff are friendly too. The building itself has undergone some recent beautiful upgrades and renovations. I couldn’t imagine a more welcoming and satisfying work environment to be a part of each day. I just love this place.
Becky Nichols: My home away from home! Great place to work...Love my work family and our Residents are amazing 🤩
Chris Lucas: I meant to respond a lot sooner than what I’m doing now. But I wanted to thank Coventry for truly taken of my mother, Ella Mae Lucas. The whole staff of nurses, doctors, and orderly always did a fantastic job of taking of Momma. I’m trying to remember if we ever had any concerns or worry if something wasn’t right or out of line. I know it’s been a few years now but I just wanted to make it known that everyone there did their job and did it well. Again thanks and keep doing you. ✌🏿
Lois Boyster: They are caring people who are very helpful
Jeff Gronemeyer: Great community. Gorgeous grounds and they always go above and beyond. The feelling of home is evident everyplace and you will always get a smile and warm hello. Thankful we found this gem!
Autumn Smith: If I could rate them a negative I would. They are under staffed and most of the staff they do have are lazy and do not treat the residents right. The upper management and the whole company itself is all for the money. The money these people pay is ridiculous.

Noble Senior Living at Fort Wayne: what do users think?
Jeffrey Hecke: I would never want to live in that place i would rather die...
Kevin Easterday: I have made a couple of friendships with some elderly who lived there and they are very abusive at times. The staff screaming belittle some of the customers who they see as bad children they can abuse. That your environment should never be like that. It should be that people are customers in our treated with dignity. And I have seen a couple of people who are workers who are not bad and we're decent and polite but I'd say three out of five or not and very abusive of their customers.
Lee Cox: STAFF ODDLY MET ME AT DOOR AT APP 548? SAID IT CLOSES @ 5. Last month 2 dffrnt workers said 7. Online says 7. I was dropping off fone 4 2 lonely guys with no life or love or $. I RARELY get $20. I spent 13(?) on rons case. I traded my phone 4 a lesser phone & jims case. Trying to get wifi for jim and ron. I've done nothing but did me a very abrasive girl who worked there once. Tonight is a male and it was extremely weird to have someone walk all the way up to the door and outside it well maybe not if it is actually closed but it says it's not closed yet for an hour. And the date today is let me see because this prevents them from having a life. I am a proactive action altruist because I was a bad person in life in some ways and I can't stand the imagining or empathizing of someone else suffering and they have no life and th anyone wh
Bens Bugs Be Gone: We have never done this before but in this situation I feel it necessary. We were contracted to take over the pest control in this facility. We discovered the bedbugs were so bad on our cost we did a free floor by floor room by room inspection of the entire building. This inspection took about 50 hours to complete. We discovered that a significant amount of the rooms had bedbugs. Some of which were so bad it was heartbreaking to see what these precious elderly were going through. We had serious issues with receiving cooperation with maintenance staff and the individuals running the facility. When I say bad bedbugs I'm talking so severe that bedbugs were crawling on some of the patients bodies. We are heat specialists and thus have specific equipment for the jobs. The equipment is very heavy. It was often the elevator was not working so we were forced to carry the machines up the stairs. This added an hour or more to our jobs every time this occurred. Many times the rooms were not ready and we had to finish prepping again adding another hour plus.We began to notice on top of the lack of any cooperation that they were not paying the bills. They used covid as an excuse so we did our best to work with them. Eventually they owed us over 15,000 dollars. We managed to track down one the owners who explained that the CEO had taken off with millions but because they had taken medicare they needed to keep it quiet so they did not get investigated by the Feds. They promised they would make it right to us and pay the bills. That was over a year ago now.We have called the owner back and he keeps giving us a line that he can't pay us.Then recently we received a heads up call from another pest control company. They were told by management at Noble Senior Living that they had fired us because we had not gotten rid of the bed bugs. This pest control company was suspicious and reached out to us.In my opinion there is a lack of integrity, decency and humanity with this senior living facility. In my opinion The quality of life of elderly in this facility is compromised.
Alberta Puff: Snow wasn't plowed nor salted promptly!
debbie barry: My daughter just moved into Noble. Justina was wonderful guiding us through the process of admitting her. The front desk greets you with a smile and is always ready to help. Food is home cooking and generous. Me and my husband are happy that our daughter living at Noble and is so well cared for.
QueenP Records: WORST ELEVATOR EXPERIENCE EVER. Residents fighting some waitin almost 45 mins to get to an from their destinations. Rather they are outdated an need maintanced something definitely needs done.
Neil Sowards: The telephone operator I spoke with was very nice. She promised to get someone to do a wellness check on a resident and followed through. She searched the van and found a lost phone for the resident. Kudos to her. She is the driver of the fan also. She did a great job.
Tara Pennington Villa: Dirty and pathetic
John Crawford: staff was gracious and helpful
Kristen Goeglein: There's a lot of thefts here!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Karen Weeks: Worst place to putt some one the change staff weekly and try to charge self pay residents to fix a elevator cause his chair hit the door on the way in he cant be left down stairs cause the chargers getting stolen by employees and residents
Robert Smith: Very good service very good oatmeal and grits
Tracey Jordan: Living here here, can be difficult, good, bad and everything in between. The food has of improved in the year and a half I've lived her, however it still tastes institutional at best. they do attept a variety of outtings, unfortunately there is never enough room on the one van for everyone that wants to go. I'm hoping to be able to move to Arizona where my boys live. as far as the staff goes, some really like their jobs and you can tell who doesn't and should be working at McDonalds! They barely get the job done and whine about it. those that do go above and beyond for us are definitely loved by us! I go to outside medical asoften as possible, so I have as little working lamplight employees as possible. It saves you from costly missunderstandings and less oportunity to take advantage. There are a great deal of things I'd change, but there are only so many options that are affordable to most of us my age, (49), limits my options aswell
Diana Barnes: Lamplight inn is now a old folks home and my grandma brenda lives there and she says they treat her nice so i think that thats a realy nice place

Silver Birch of Fort Wayne: what do users think?
Aniya Taylor: My aunt lives here and everyone is always so nice and helpful. She really enjoys all of the activities they have. I really like the fact that the staff if very prominent and professional about the cleanliness of the building; especially in this time of Covid and other illnesses, to minimize exposure and spreading.
Amber Herendeen: Wouldn't recommend working at this location particularly. They don't appreciate their employees and have no compassion or honest with their staff either. And, the facility is invested with roaches and bed bugs and they don't let new people know when moving in or new employees starting about that situation.
Darci Bailey: Great people living and working there
Joy Grow: Silver Birch Fort Wayne is a gorgeous assisted living facility. The staff are caring and competent. It's a great team!
Lekesha Frazer: This is a lovely community offering convenience to nearby shopping areas. They have friendly staff and residents and their families love it!
Jim Blanks2: It's Sunday morning and we have nothing HOT FOR BREAKFAST..NOTHING!! NO COOKS..WTH!!
Cliff Campbell: looking for Coreen Blades is she still there have not talked to over three Mosaprt 315
Tracie Osterman: They OFFER care, but do they GIVE Care? My Uncle exists here, however he's not being Cared for. I'm hoping this is just from people getting a little sub standard due to covid. But his blood sugar has nothing to do with the covid crisis.
Jill Henderson: While I cannot visit this community right now due to COVID-19 restrictions, I had the privilege of meeting April, their marketing director. If Silver Birch on Hanna Street brings to life the energy, enthusiasm and caring nature I found in April, I believe it would be a great place to be!
April Christman: Beautiful community who truly live by their Mission: Inspiring purposeful lives for all. They make quality living affordable! The food is delicious, team members are warm and welcoming.
Brandi Haeft: Beautiful building inside and out. The care that is given is some of the best around! Great community!
Michael Lehman: Phenomenal Assisted Living Community; the best around! The community is beautiful, bright, clean and lively!

Lincolnshire Place - Memory Care & Assisted Living: what do users think?
shady Lnu: Not really an assisted living. It's a nursing home. BUT calling it an AL. they don't have to take Medicare/ Medicaid. The administration are terrible. Turnover among employees is a weekly occurrence.
Jessie StPete: My mother has been at Lincolnshire for a few months now and I cannot say enough good things about her treatment, the facilities and staff. Starting with the director Tyler, he has been incredibly responsive, supportive and helpful with the challenging transition for my mother. The nurses are all amazing and kind. Shelly has been assigned as my mom's primary nurse and always keeps me in the loop with any needs or news on my mother. The rest of the staff is just as caring and compassionate as Tyler and Shelly. Every time I speak with my mom she tells me how nice everyone is and I have seen it with my own eyes. They really do care. The facilities themselves are very clean, and updated. The courtyard has a nice garden and they do a lot of activities to keep residents engaged. I feel my mom is safe and happy here and I am lucky to have found such a wonderful place.
Chgon Baker: Nursing staff and administrator here are amazing people!
Amanda Lesley: Don’t place your family here. As a old staff member I can tell you that I ended up quoting because residents weren’t being treated properly. The nurse are very two face when family’s come in and are always talking bad about the residents. They give the resident the bare minimum please don’t do it. It’s a beautiful place but it’s horrible
Tyler Weilbaker: A great facility where every resident is cared for like family. With a focus on memory care, every resident is cared for based on their own individual needs. Lincolnshire Place has a safe and homelike atmosphere that makes everyone feel right at home. I would recommend Lincolnshire Place to anyone who is in need of Assisted Living and Memory Care support.
Becky Clendenen: My Dad had louie body dementia and terrible anxiety. He required round the clock care. Dad had previously been in 2 other facilities, both places were a nightmare. We wanted the best for Dad, he was a great guy who needed a loving environment, that he would feel comfortable in. We got on the waitlist at Lincolnshire and after several months, there was an opening. The loving and caring staff were everything we had hoped for. Dad settled in and made new friends. The male staff members always found time to talk to Dad, it would be "guy talk".Dad would have tendencies to want to stay in his room, the aides would mention ice cream. That was his favorite, so out of his room he'd go.The aides always encouraged Dad to do the activities, the nurses were attentive when Dad's anxiety got out of control. They would be able to calm Dad down, or get his meds when needed. As time went on Dad starting losing weight. The nurses recommended protein drinks, to get more calories in a few times a day. The weight loss continued, Dad was doing less things outside of his room. A nurse mentioned Dad would probably qualify for hospice. Within 24 hours, Dad was being evaluated by hospice. Dad then qualified for hospice. Dad's world had gotten small, mainly his children were his only visitors. With the hospice staff, there was a nurse, a social worker, someone to bathe Dad, music therapy, and the most important person, was the pastor. Dad was happy with the new people in his life.Covid hit, everything changed, the main priority to protect the residents and the staff. Dad relied on the staff more than ever, he was confused why we didn't visit. The staff did their best in a very difficult time. We were updated daily, there weren't any cases of Covid at Lincolnshire.Dad's health declined, we we're allowed in Dad's room, to be with him days before he passed away of natural causes. We loved Lincolnshire & so did Dad. They are compassionate and loving people, they truly care about the residents and their families.
April Dager: I have worked here since Lincolnshire has opened up. This is a great place to work. I have been in this business for over 25 years and have worked in other facilities and by far this is the best place I have worked at. I plan to work here until I retire. The owners and our staff care so much about our residents and families. Lincolnshire Place is a place I would bring my family here to live.
