Once in the room, she quickly dismissed any concern I had. I then asked if it’s something I should talk to my family doctor about and she told me “no, she’s just going to send you back here anyways” I left feeling unheard and like she thought I was stupid. I called my family doctor who got me in for testing to find out that I’m not crazy or wrong, and there are other issues going on that she refused to address with me. I got a recommendation for a new hematology office and I highly suggest you do that same if you want to be taken seriously about your health.I will say that the Phlebotomists were always so kind to me and I really did love seeing them the last 4 years.

Jill Medsger: PET ScanMy mother had a pet scan and the nurse was really rude. Very upsetting because everyone in there has cancer. These patients need your empathy more than anything. If you can’t treat these patients with compassion then you should not be working with cancer patients. This nurse needs to go down to oncology and learn how to treat these people. The nurses in Oncology that give the chemo are amazing and have always treated my mother with a kind heart.
