Thomas Gaskill: I wasn’t the patient but drove my wife’s family there for my mother-in-law’s appointment. The Dr. spent a lot of time with her and set her up on the proper hearing aide for her. Other businesses tried to sell her the most expensive hearing aide! Let alone hardly spend anytime talking and assessing her specific needs. Bravo Lowe Audiology!!!

He told me that getting used to hearing aids would be very difficult for me, especially with the severe hearing loss that I suffered in my right ear. He was right but, I have managed to learn to live with them. I don't know that another doctor could have been any more helpful. I would recommend Dr. Burkle to anyone with hearing issues.

Karene Smith: My Mom and I were there today for our hearing test. One of my Mom's hearing aids wasn't working correctly in 2019 and had been sent out to be fixed. Recently she started having the same problem with the same hearing aid, this time while we were there The young lady (I wish I could remember her name) worked on it and was able to determine what the problem was and fixed it within a few minutes and saving my Mom almost $400 by not having it sent out again. Jane Brechbill: Initially my family doctor referred me to Hear Care Audiology. The staff is very friendly and professional. After my hearing test I was told I would be a candidate for hearing aids. At first I was skeptical but after being told I could try them out for 2-3 weeks at a very minimal cost I decided I'd give it a try. Ken Stewart the Audiologist told me that he would almost guarantee that after wearing them a few weeks I wouldn't want to give them back. He was so right!! I can hear sounds that I hadn't heard in years. I would recommend anyone with hearing loss to give them a try; I'm a 100% satisfied customer!!!

We always leave there knowing that she has the best hearing possible, that her hearing aids fit, and are programmed exactly for her specific needs. Ken is a great audiologist, Northeast Indiana is lucky to have him, I can not imagine going anywhere else. I just recently went in to see her with a problem with how one of my hearing aid fit. Wasn't sure how to explain it to her but she knew what I was talking about and fixed me up. Problem solved.

Water under the bridge now 5 yrs later. Still suffer viral flareups and he has helped manage this well.My highest recommendation goes out to a Dr of Audiology Denise Bickley as well! She worked so hard to research the best product for my situation. Connecting everything high tech to work with my phone etc!

INRUSHbicycles: There really are no words for the kind of person Dr. Bickley is. She makes you feel like you are a priority, every single time you see/talk to her. She walks you through the entire process and makes sure you are aware of everything going on. I have suffered severe hearing loss for my entire life, I have been in and out of more doctors offices than my fingers can count, some good some bad, at times just feeling like a ping pong ball. Dr. Bickley deserves nothing but the upmost praise for what she does, she gave me light in my, at times, dark battle in this medical rat race. I am SSD (single sided deaf) and wear a Cochlear implanted BAHA, I was in dire need of an upgraded processor, that could handle my work environment, and when Vocational Rehab stopped helping me I felt at a loss, but Dr. Bickley stepped up and completely pushed through the entire process for me/with me and now I have my updated processor! She's the best, truly. - Micki
Tasha Rasler: Denise is a doctor that truly cares for her patients. She goes above and beyond her duties as an audiologist. She takes the time to listen to her patient. I was not a patient of hers but was with some family members that suffered from tinnitus so severe that caused anxiety and depression. She was so compassionate and so helpful to them, that I will forever be grateful for her. Scott Seagrave: I visited Indiana Ear for ear wax removal and a hearing exam.The building that houses the office is an attractive structure locatedconveniently on Coldwater Rd. The office staff were polite, courteousand upbeat. Brittany Serovy, the nurse practitioner, removed the wax from my ears pain free. I have had that procedure performed periodically for the past 30 years and this is the first time with zero pain. After the wax removal I had my hearing test with Dr. Sheehan. Very thorough examand detailed post exam results consultation. Afterwards, I once again met with Ms. Serovy to discuss my options moving forward regardingsome significant hearing loss. I found the entire staff at Indiana Ear tobe a very caring and professional group of people.
Alexis Salinas: I was told by the doc that a simple patch placed in my ear would be covered fully by my insurance and it was not. Very upset that I had to pay for a procedure that did not work and caused me a lot of pain for nothing.

D. Simmons (BigPuff56): I went to Carter Hearing with great expectations of getting my first set of hearing aids. They were very helpful, and I was impressed with there testing of my hearing. Finally after waiting almost 4 weeks, my trial hearing aids came in. My trial fitting appointment was on Friday at 4pm, (they close at 5). The Audio Doc set up my hearing aids and sent me out the door with an appointment two weeks later. I had problems with the hearing aids sounding very tiny and with no bass right from the start. I let the Doc know, and the Doc made a few adjustments an then said I could make more adjustments on my phone. I used the hearing aids for the next two and half days, even trying to make limited adjustments on my phone. I even let my wife listen to them and her response was, “How can you listen to that noise, that’s terrible!” After that I was so frustrated that I took them back on Monday. Later after seeing other Audio Docs, an easy fix on the bass problem would have been to install bigger ear canal tips on the receivers and Carter also tried to sell me hearing aids that didn’t have enough channels for my moderate to severe hearing loss, (I need at least 20 channels, the set they tried to sell me only had 16). Maybe I should have been more patient and worked with them on adjusting my trials, but I lost confidence in Carter’s Audio Doc's ability and the hearing aides were wrong for my amount of hearing loss anyway. I do not recommend Carter Hearing. My recommendation is since most hearing centers offer free hearing test, don’t buy your hearing aids at the first place you go, at least get a second or third opinion.
terry donahue: Carter Hearing was the one office that was professional. All other hearing clinics wanted to take money from my pocket that insurance would pay. Carter billed insurance company. Others were lazy and would not. Needless to say, I got my hearing aid from Carter

Carter Hearing Clinics is by far the best I've ever been to. The people there go above and beyond to get you what you need.Whenever I have had emergencies(like hearing aid breaking) They have always found a way to squeeze me in to see me, even if it wasn't convenient work hours for them. This place is one of the rare places where you aren't just a number, or just a means to a paycheck. They really care about their patients!
