Doug Hoover: My vehicle was slow to start recently, so I dropped in to see if they could diagnose my battery as good or bad for me. After it was determined the battery was the problem, the gentleman working the front and helping me noticed that the battery in my vehicle (type: 24F) was different than what was coming up in the vehicle make/model tool he was using. Instead of just selling me a 24F battery anyway, he reached out to the battery company and asked why the application was suggesting a different battery type (34R) and inquired if they were interchangeable in my particular make and model. After a few minutes, it was determined that the 24F is designed for my 2007 Camry V6 and after paying, I went on my way. The service was outstanding.Note: They do not install the battery for you, which is very simple to do yourself, but be aware. This minor inconvenience is well worth the trade off for knowledgeable and honest service.Service:Battery

Bill Norton: If you own a BMW – this is the best BMW INDY shop around - so if you’re trying to find one, don’t waste a trip north or south of Ft Wayne – Ed’s can do it. I had a suspension rattle that the local dealer dismissed as a seatbelt buckle hitting the pillar – really?! So why not fix my rack and pinion tires still roll. Breaks don't squeak. Still good. I need new ones soon. No thank you! I want my money back. Charged me 121.00 for a visual inspection. Although they were too busy to actually do the work they gave me a ride to my destination and took a quick look at my truck. Super nice and friendly. The did a diagnostic that afternoon and then fixed it the next day. My 2017Altima also needed an oil change and they took care of that too. Got it all done less than 350. Corey Towe: AVOID! Charged $266 to replace a $20 gas feeder line coming from the engine. Which is easy to get to. Right in front of you when you open the hood. They decided it was ok to charge $130 for the rubber feed line. ($20 part) Then charge $120 for labor. (15 minute job) Charged me for an hour @ $120. Yes, you read that right. $120 an hour for labor! Acted like he was doing me a favor for not charging a diagnostic fee which was not done since i showed him exactly what the problem was. Ridiculous!

Brian Ross: I've used A-1 Automotive in the past (20+ years ago) and they've always done me right!!! I just recently took my 98 Mustang GT in for a drivability issues and a CEL. They diagnosed it the same day and took care of a few other issues that were unknown at the time. I even had them do a full tune-up the next morning as they wanted to keep the car over night to verify the issue was fixed. They had everything completed and repaired just as I had hoped and had the pricing of the repairs down to a minimum that was affordable. As to mention....Justin went above and beyond and removed the trailer hitch off the car for FREE!!! They also picked me up in a timely manner to get my vehicle back. I'm very happy and pleased with A-1 and know that you will be too. Don't hesitate to call and get your vehicle repaired at one of the BEST shops in town....just can't beat the service and quality of work they perform. N Moore: Might seem like common knowledge, but I highly recommend getting a quote for anything and everything before trusting them with your vehicle or business. I was charged $80.00 just for them to tell me what was wrong. Diagnostics elsewhere are not nearly as costly. I went to this place because I was newer in town and now sincerely regret it. There are plenty of other businesses that will treat you respectfully and want to help. corrine Tischer: This is my go to car shop in town. I’ve tried a couple others such as meineke, and have found I left they’re dissatisfied and sometimes confused to the actual work done. Rich’s on the other hand, has been nothing but honest and straight forward about repairs and costs. Recently I got my front brakes and rotors done and felt a weird grind going down a driveway. They gladly got me back in the shop and cleaned up my back breaks which still have 60% usage to go and assured me all is well. Will and Nick are the ones I normally speak with and both are very approachable and break it down to a language I can understand with my vehicle. I also really appreciate their delivery service, to and from work or house while they work on my vehicle. Momo Washington: This was my first visit due to the great reviews. The workers are very friendly and they send pics of services that are needed. I gave 3 stars because I paid for a complete diagnostic. When I dropped my car off, I informed that only one of the dome lights was working and requested a bulb. I was also informed that my oil was great and didn't need to be changed. After 2 days, when I picked my car up, both dome lights were not working, and the wrench light was on. When I contacted the shop, they told me to bring it in for an oil change, and they would take a look at my interior lights. I was very disappointed, but they contacted me and fixed my light after reading my review. That is why they now have 4 stars. I appreciate the follow-up.
Bullwinkle Moose: I have used Yoemans Service Center for my truck as well as my wife and daughters cars for years and is the only place I will take them. I believe there are only two people a man can trust, his barber and his mechanic! I have found everyone there to be honest and upfront about everything done to my vehicles. They have fixed numerous things for me from simple repairs like a slow leaking tire to fuel injectors and I have never once had a problem. Prices for the repairs I have found to be competitive and reasonable with the time to make the repairs actually quicker than most I believe. Paul Carpenter: I Already know the issue with vehichle so i called for cost and price to fix it.. they would not give quote. Basically they require you to drive in and charge you 60 bucks to look at it first. When i already had a gm dealership do that when i had new brake lines done.. i just didnt have money to do it all at the time. So a simple quote over phone for cost to replace power stearing pump and gaskets shouldnt be to hard. Those that dont quote or even give estimated cost upfront is just pure shady

Wasn't very encouraging that the mechanics response was..."it wasn't on when I drove it. I don't know".
