Sara Burkholder: For the most part I got some really good stuff. However the toys are very overpriced for the poor condition they are in. I was lucky to find a really nice doll for my daughter out of the toys, but that about it.

Cori Marcum: This store is phenomenal, all there items are practically brand new for prices you'd see at a garage sale!!!!! I sold some of my old baby items to them and they didn't accept two of the items a car seat and a double stroller, because of their age and lack of the newer safety protocols which I think is great because it shows undoubtedly that they care more about children safety than making some money. Their shoe selection isn't very organized but the selection is huge!

Amanda Kochel: Today was my first time ever going in Once Upon A Child. It's AMAZING! So many gently used clothing items to choose from. All different sizes for babies and children. They have gently used toys as well. I spent $92 and bought several pairs of pants, two sleepers, several shirts, 4-5 onesies, and an AWESOME 3 piece suit. The 3 piece suit cost the most, at a whopping $6.50 before tax! And the staff were so kind! Thank you so much to everyone I encountered today. I'll be coming back for sure and telling all parents I can think to! In fact, I've already told a few people already! You can also sell your own gently used baby/children items there.

Casandra Stoneburner: Super unhappy with the amount they gave me for my clothes! I am a perfectionist with my daughters clothes and they took a whole laundry basket and only gave me $46 (less then a $1 per item!!!) I will never take anything back there to sell.

Jeannette Wolfe: The ladies behind the counter are very rude, especially the older lady. I like buying and selling their but I think I'll go to kid to kid next time just for the fact they are a lot nicer.

Multiple times I’ve found two of the same item (same condition and size) and one will be marked $2 more. As for selling, I’d come here last resort. They claim to not take things that are worn too much or stains…. Multiple items I’ve tried to sell to them have had no wear or stains yet some of the items on their racks should be thrown out.

Sarah K: I had called to inquire about selling items before coming because i had never come here before. Employee never told me about a limit for the day. Drove 45mintues to see a sign that said they reached their limit on buying for the day. I'm very irritated because what a waste of a trip and I have at least $400 worth of clothes. No lie they are like new. Employees would not make any exception. And no I did not come right before closing.Don't plan on selling your items to them unless you want to waste a trip.While appreciate management responding, you might want to train your employees on informing someone who calls to inquire about the process that you have a buying limit for the day and that to plan on coming early if you know Sunday is your busiest day. That's where I am most irritated because I called to ask before coming.No I won't be back. I though I'd try it to unload a lot at once, I usually sell on FB and will get more $$$ anyways. Don't worry I will be happy to explain to many what happened to me.

Hailey Smith: I use to LOVE this place. So when my girls needed new jeans, of course this was my go-to. We were in the store for literally a minute, maybe two. My oldest daughter happily grabbed four pairs of jeans and then noticed a "spot" on one. Upon further review and a closer look, it started to move!!! IT WAS A BED BUG! 😳 I only know this bug because of an apartment we toured three years before, but I know that bug anywhere. YOU WILL HAVE AN INFESTATION IF YOU SHOP HERE UNKNOWINGLY!!!

Kacy Miller: LOVE Once Upon A Child!! I love to buy secondhand and boy do they show up! My absolute favorite part is selling clothes we no longer use or need. They take SO much of my items and provide fair return. They also give you a percentage off if you use the earned money on items from the store right then!My last trip there I found the perfect costume for my 7 year old for $8.50! It was like new! My other favorite was a super warm North Face coat in like new condition for my 7 year old for $25! It was exactly what I was hoping for!I will also add that compared to Kid to Kid, Once Upon A Child is sooo much better to sell AND buy from. The prices are so low and the return on selling is awesome.

Some outfits are a little over priced but then you have some that are high end brands for about the same price $4.50 if u bought them from the actual maker like Nike or Adidas they would be $20-$30. So it kinda just depends.

Allie Gaines: Just went in today to do some shopping for my first little one on the way, while I was looking through the aisles a young man (shaved head, grey clothing) was aggressively shocking the clothing as well as kicking around a step stool. When I excused myself to pass him he huffed at me and kicked the stool again out of the way. The whole time he seemed angered that I was looking through “his area”. Not very impressed...

Jess Avery: If you’re there to sell items save your time and go to once upon a child. They took almost all of my items from two large bins and gave me $40. I’ve made $75-$100 selling the same quality and quantity of merchandise at once upon a child. They take an extremely long time, (I dropped my items off at 11 and didn’t get a text until 4) and if you do leave they will tag and put out your stuff before you can accept or deny the offer.

I came in to sell clothes for the first time & the girl selling spoke to me like I was stupid for not knowing how their process works. While i was sorting my clothes my daughter was browsing items up by the counter & she heard the girls behind the register cussing & taking inappropriatly right in front of her. Super unprofessional. So I called the store today (12/19) and talked to Shane. He gave me a number to call. Called and waited 46 minutes and 3 sec and no answer! He also gave me a website which I tried. When I put my tracking order number in, I got a response that stated " you are not authorized to view or cancel this order" Cashier assured me I would receive it before Christmas! Website is NOT VERY USER FRIENDLY! You only get "FAQ's" to choose from! Would NOT recommend!

Cheryl Cox: First, loved the Welcome Back sign. Very friendly😁. They had some fantastic sales, and I applied for their card and got another 25% off and 3x the points which earned me something like $50 to spend next time. But, even better, the sales person, Shane, is amazing. We brought him a massive pile of clothes to scan to see if they were online and could be shipped for free. He happily went through each item, ordered for us, and had them sent to Alaska. He clearly loves his job and he made shopping so stress-free. I have 13 grandchildren and they're all getting Carter's from now on!

The older woman at the register pretty much demanded that she had to have my phone number for rewards even though that was not needed for the return. She also told me I’d have to take store credit because I paid with PayPal, after a few rude minutes of back and forth she agreed to call another associate over whom apologized and showed her all she had to hit was “pay pal” as the return payment option. Definitely will not be going back to this location.

Chelsey Cook: Went in to purchase some clothes for my toddler, and the experience was fine until we went to check out. The cashier asked for a phone number, and I politely said ‘no thank you’. She explained it was for their rewards problem, and I thanked her and declined again. She then proceeded to tease me with another cashier, and asked if I just hated free money.By this point in the transaction I was just frustrated and wanting to pay and be done with it, so I said yes and just wanted to be out of the store.The cashier proceeded to mock me, and said ‘I’ll sell you a dollar for five!’, laughing with the other cashier. Once the mocking was done, to which I didn’t respond and just wanted to get out of there collected and calmly, she rudely finished the transaction and sent me on my way.She went from cheery, to straight up mocking me, to being short and temperamental with me all in the span of less than 5 minutes. I tried to politely decline being signed up for a rewards program I wanted nothing to do with. I just needed clothes for my growing too quickly toddler and then to get back to walking around with my husband and son.Absolutely atrociously unprofessional and shocking behavior, and this woman was at least a decade older than me at that. Far too old to be acting the way she did.Will never return to this store, and I hope others avoid as well. The sales, and reward program, aren’t worth being mocked and teased by middle aged women who think they’re still in middle school.
